Is -- on the ball in the game's over of course with the it was a little bit chaotic trying to get guys back on there -- I don't know we have eleven but you know when they knew it -- congratulations to the giants to. What was your process after the game is over after you leave Arizona you're thinking about your career going for what was that process along that it. From it didn't take them it didn't take them long because actually it's a question I -- sometimes people hurt people last week. I mean because I mean and religions become Herman after the season -- kids at school locally you know a via the area and and one question again it is if you would've won the game which who have retired. You know and I tell them say I would of loved entertainment that -- love to have taken that but that. And to have him as motivation for us some of us to win that superbowl for guys like him and guys like Randy because of course some of us in the -- experienced success before. -- to have guys that you know their careers -- that you mean you you view the NFL and you see the careers of all these other players I mean. The work that they've done -- become winners you want to help them."

[10:00]" The linebackers who are in that that regular rotation for you guys starting linebackers are guys who alternate series they -- have something -- They're all of that thirty some jobs sure you've heard this before. Now pat -- they're getting old at linebacker -- for you -- talking about talking about you forget about Vrabel forget about deal with Thomas. Do you know what what is the difference preparing now as opposed to preparing when you were 2627 years in your body responding to that part right Africa. Okay subtracting."

And I think one of the biggest the biggest differences is after you get through with the game on Sunday. And I remember being in the end a younger player and in and here and people talk about okay it's it's it's a short week Sunday and Monday night game to a Sunday or sometimes. A Sunday game -- sometimes Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday or something like that at the short week you address the media I was on the radio. I'm ready to go in and get out later -- like -- right about that you know because I mean go through a tough game on Sunday. Monday Tuesday you really have to worry about worry about the rehabilitation process to get your body back ready to do it again and that I've had great examples in my group of players doing that Willie McGinest you know Roman -- you know Junior Seau. Has been it would plea. Play at a high level for so long and and really you know depend on those guys and and and the example pitched that they showed me to. To really have career longevity."

[11:35]" You guys in and -- we actually joke with you sometimes about you know you were so focused on this week this week this week. I was coming into the facility I think I don't know when it happened a few weeks ago and Rosie got released and Rosie was walking out and I said you know the usual green because it was good to see what you boys again discussing how to Rosie and you know saw something was on his face he looked a little bit different than us as heroes has abilities -- just been -- you know so. It's funny because I was one of the first guys he met coming into the facility and then he said if this is ironic because you parred the last would -- would he leave in the facilities so. You get a little bit of reality reality check sometimes that happens and Rosie of course was. With -- not only bias in in in in the locker room and on the team by plays he made in the community he really really adopted the knowingly community so I was thousand tough to taken a -- my sister who were if you go to the back with and that -- he Toby Hewitt though."

Valentine's Day is is the day before and so we don't really focus on that we focus on the fifteenth on the anniversary of of my stroke and how how far we've come. How far we've come from from that point now lives have been three years and you know it and to know how far we've come into that -- that we went through that doubts I mean. I mean in my going to be normal again what's wrong with me you know I mean all these questions medically that I had to to go to. Let's -- playing again you know those type of thoughts that there's something that I that I had to go through through my comeback and that's why that's why am throw on this night in the that you want to talk about comebacks I mean I know about many years ago when when the story of the Central Park jogger in encapsulated this country people wondered -- why a woman jogging in Central Park to be a victim of such and such a random attack and everyone remembers her as the Central Park -- We'll -- is is my inspirational speaker and I think that night a lot of people come away with that. Being inspired him and the Boston marathon is is is one of the signature events of this of this of this community and -- celebrate it and the real winners of the Boston marathon the ones who who run it for a cause and for what they believe in five years ago you probably couldn't imagine doing something like this having something called Ted -- team and having an -- inspiration with this focus. Yeah 5 years ago of course you get the various invitation to a two events to support a certain shared united I've -- things things before with other organizations and and really I was having questions in my mind of you know I I wish I heck I wish I had more about emotional or order personal attachment to something. Well something happened that of course I do now with the American stroke association."

[17:20]" As -- dallas' as you've been in in supporting the American stroke association and helping them and your book I think when a great deal towards that. My guesses when you're doing what you do for a living it never enters your mind. About what I went through -- I think about it today when your plan when your practicing as it ever come up in your head."

[17:38]" Not anymore. That anymore I think that the first year back was was it was as much emotional and mental healing -- just coming back to play football because. You hit somebody again all of a sudden and -- had a stroke and you realize what's gone on with and you learn about the brain and you learn about your heart Mueller to learn about the procedure that I had with my heart -- and then here I am with a helmet on again -- on somebody. Okay sort of the first hit -- sort of stand up and say okay I'm still here. I'm still here you know and I had to go I had to go through a lot of football first again the first tackle first. The first hit the first time couple 300 pounder is right on top of me an ambulance for them to get off."

[18:22]" If you know you know I'll give you that I cannot be. Human teacher she really she really this this moment had a profound effect. She did I heard her speak in the it is. She is she's sees you as the runners she's very small in stature but what you went through in the way she was able to come back really helped me realize few questions that. That maybe what do I wasn't able to come back you know I mean. Sometimes people are able to make full recoveries and a Tricia -- is doing well now but which -- full recovery I mean. Yes maybe no -- so I was one of the lucky ones make it a full recovery movement sometimes there's a lot of things people go through the deal with about. How different you are after you've experienced that Versteeg lives -- stroke cancer livid that losing a loved one something like that means that you should help you realize that even if you're not the same that he's still going to be okay you mentioned -- before she doesn't remember everything about that night. Those -- get which probably from from accounts it news accounts and from people who -- telling her what she was going remembered yet she she I she read and she wrote her book now. Maybe her not being able to call what happened that night in Central Park was with maybe God's -- her you know because having to deal with something like that and remember some things went through could be could be highly traumatic so and -- who she writes about her book which is which is so wonderful.
