" Haven't seen the TV ratings from last night but I have a feeling when we do see them. They will be huge for the Boston Bruins game seven in Montreal against the Canadians unfortunately the Bruins did -- game 75 to nothing to the Canadians. Joining us on the line as he did before the playoffs that I got going as the Vice President of the Bruins came -- hey camp I don't. Video -- you -- all right thanks. There's."

" So you made it to the day after game seven -- I'm going to ask you that that annoying reporter questions that they ask in the movies how do you field."

" Well though Lisa berg started to lose that no question. There really felt as did everybody here so pretty confident going up to Montreal. That we can win that game and and then move forward but. Works it's not the case you."

" Can win a series in Montreal we all remember the -- you land and fist pump after the the win but that was in game five but winning in game seven in Montreal can be a little different story. Well."

" It is it's great environment up there to begin -- the moment in seven in Montreal -- makes it tough for any visiting team but. -- that we -- really the first period -- a goal off there -- deflection. From the -- by -- mistake obviously but I think we have a lot of chances in the first period in. There with a got a certain goal like so that we were we there pressed it and trying to do too much in. And I don't think you played as loose as we did games. Five and six Saddam and you know I think that the -- some experience."

" You mentioned games five and six -- and games two through four. There was no Phil Kessel to be found in games five and six Phil Kessel was a major presence and the offense so. That leads to a natural question should he have been playing earlier in your opinion."

" Well if you look at that the late though played the all the years in the league in game one was I'd I don't disagree with the decision and all that we needed it's so a little more -- in the lineup then. Goes so great player for -- and he's stolen -- this year but there's times when. When he can play better especially protect the park in. And in areas where we need to that we need to battle and get puck out of our zone and it was at things the coaches have been talking with him all year long. Ninety responded extremely welcome back mentally did and it showed that -- key understood totals -- from his game and he's a guy obviously lead count -- alive for offense but there's a lot more of the games -- Kasten and in you know the opposite -- ours is important part of the game. But there's other areas the -- extremely important that they -- well when as well."

" I'm not be in a smart Alec as we asked this question earlier on and I don't know the answer what kind of hockey player you guys looking for what. What would what would -- Bruins player B that the year -- rallies looking for a you're helping him try to find."

" Well I think it's pretty clear would wear and tear of Austin expect the players to be in that's -- promote compete every night battle hardened and be as competitive as she can't be -- obviously we need some. Some offense and some scoring and then you know we're -- look -- trying to upgrade that you know season but first and foremost it was like guys to battle compete Arctic body when one missed an opportunity in. You know we're not we're not saying that we need guys you know that that -- event. Primarily do that -- We need everybody to one through 22 to compete and battle. And that's what our fans expect to -- teams in you know that's what we want as players we went. -- players that are going to you know going to battle on the court battle on the walls and over the top various trying to create offense opportunities in. You know sacrifice yourself to make the play him and just be really committed to the playing good tough hockey and -- that's going to overlook before."

" You know camp some of the best shots during -- three victories that TV shots. Were those of view and in to rally up their high five and it in the boxes in the sweet. And I and I and it made me wonder as I watched all of those shots. Is that what you really want to do mean is that when you get excited. Being in a position where you can evaluate players and ultimately select players -- titans released job of being involved in that process more than a marketing side is. Is hockey operations which you really wanted to."

" Well that's primarily would've done -- who's news news. Is used -- practice there could be as many games on the road at home as the music -- book the team compassion by Anson. I certainly am looking port I hope he and Peter Don -- in the rest our operations -- group of oh we have aways to go and I think we've made huge strides this year. We know that. We're not where we want to be -- we have we have -- so to improve but we've made some some great strides and the report of a process that allowed more on the issue that I expected to -- I really didn't know what. What to expect though they did knows it it was to -- with its -- back on with the game in the team in majority eventually this year and -- article to be a part of the part of this process and in print in this you know clubs that these championships."

" Zdeno Chara was named one of the three finalists for the Norris trophy today look this is Nicklas Lidstrom award and I think I probably understood that going in but I'm really happy to see. The Zdeno got nominated one of the three finalists because I think he said that kind of year for yet. And as it turns out -- may have had the wrong body part but he was right Zdeno Chara was playing hurt I guess in this entire series wasn't."

" Yet your shoulder are near the end of season there when he some gains if you were called repetitive season. It was -- it was an injury. As we all -- most players at this time a year if they article I have to play some kind of an injury but you know as you said. -- deserved to be nominated for the Norris trophies pedigree you're forced -- think the coaches that's a wonderful job not only was. With the whole team but with Cedeno really mention his minutes in and give in to play. More simple game there's times in the past where were they have no what's trying to do too much and hurt his game -- this year. Credit and respect he became more -- air force them I think it was almost -- Sears road course."

" Damn diligence referred to Harry -- to article of the article in the globe. And which carries and was quoted and I'm wondering from your perspective. Do you think it's all right is it okay for him to come out with his. What he sees as that hasn't honest assessment of this team more. Is it more along the lines of what a Peter surely said that he had a conversation with -- in that -- was contrite to me where do you stand on a member of the organization. And coming out and saying things that maybe everyone in the organization doesn't agree with."

" I was kind of surprised at the time. It it's really what what -- beer and we don't know Barry uses pretty forthcoming -- opinion season and you know I don't have a problem with rather have -- its restrict or have -- field but this time. It was a surprise to most of us."

" You've got an interesting battle shaping up in this offseason in and it training camp next year you've got to. NHL caliber goaltenders under contract -- actually three if you count Alex -- And you got a kid in Providence who's played 45 games in the regular season will probably play most of the Calder cup playoffs in two or ask. Do you think this is going to come down to away at at battle of the best man wins or will contracts ultimately help decide this."

" While I would certainly believe that the best man wins. Or -- or -- but best talked about races is as we can't and it was 1 certainly improve on this year and we have focus earlier we have -- For improvement and and there's no question that the coaching staff and in the national gave the training camp -- in the season starts and whoever's playing the vessels if the and that's -- is it should be in this we will be pitcher."

" You know jam anytime you know you start a new job. You look back a year later you see me when I first started this job I actually thought this and now I know that's not the case at all I was so wrong. When you look at your own situation what do you know now that. Didn't know at all when you first start."

" One -- one of the biggest things is really what what -- go on. From the management perspective when in. You know talking about your hockey club -- talking about ways to improve it and trying to make. Trying to make. Means to do it's it'll prove your club but also not going to take away from what you try to accomplish as lot of things -- that go on behind the scenes where. As a player you don't even really know and in you know one of the things that it was expected from me is being involvement in apocalypse -- scouts pro and and that your approach other players approximately in the NHL but also you know this upcoming draft and in an opportunity -- out there -- in this piece of these kids are scouts talked about so. Others Justin -- that not only how to improve for this year next year the year after but he didn't. You know 345 years -- you know -- lead. I hope to see come in through the system in. -- inner -- three years almost things that are are picked soon even though that -- goes on as -- there."

" We're talking about Claude Julian earlier and how he has integrated some very young players into this roster successfully all season long so -- and alkaline and Cassell is still a kid for crying out loud blue teach is he better with the younger players thirtieth think he's got a particular strength with a veteran team how do you look at the way Julian runs things."

" By -- he should be strong candidate for coach of the year based on. On we knew were able to accomplish with -- injuries at this year which has that been fantastic job and in -- it is that -- eligible vote as a coach he's pretty straightforward. There's no gray area with and meet those it would be what he wants England and it is indeed it was he thinks he can from you've been you're going to hear about it he's done that earlier on very consistent with that I think that he works well both young players and then veteran players. It's one of those things stale if you come to work hard Peter -- right. You know he you know he's been due respect that and that's what -- players so. And I think -- you know as a player if you do. I think you're -- relationship of."

" Without getting into specifics because I know you can't about players leaving more specific players coming in what do you want to see the Bruins add to this team for next year."

" lead there's no question we need to upgrade our our scoring. That was one area that in -- was clearly lacked in this year and we -- once more games with a few more balls here there's a scenario that we certainly need to improve on. Our penalty killing did a phenomenal job in the postseason compared to the regular season I think. You know there's areas and that you know we can we can improve on that. -- We really year can improve at all all of our whole -- As far as I'm concerned that means you know we lead we're not satisfied with. Look beane needs Seton. And taken -- trio -- seven games although we can look at it we can be proud of the way these guys blatantly. That a lot of guys who played their first year in the in the playoffs this year in and it's great about this as a player that. Missed the playoffs in in Vancouver and as a player that got a real good feel for the playoffs and Austin here there's not in the late getting the pace of the buy outs and and and then leaves him play it's it is is that completely different feel -- in the not make him play that. The taste in our guys cut this year dale I think consistent such great learning experience for our region guys and you know the feeling that they have loses a player it's can't compare to the feeling it would have you don't think 1000. -- they're going to -- grow from -- in the even italics art mistress here in that he said the play out some indicates and OT winner in this here reason. He did contribute to in in other areas in. You know eight to look at his base of disappointment which I don't think that same look would've been -- basically in the play out so as much as we were disappointed with with being done for the year and there's a lot of great positives that that that will come out of this. But having said that there's a lot of areas -- neglect upgrade and hopefully we in we can do that the Nazis in the Oswalt can they do mean we know what do we can be a better club with a couple of weeks here American. And you know miss up to more than we won you know to improve this club so we can really compete go deep in the playoffs and that's who we we really do want to help that your."

" You had to be impressed with the atmosphere in Montreal you've been their before you played in playoff games there before. Which also had to be impressed with what it was like in your building especially in game six where it it was it wasn't Montreal but it wasn't far behind."

" No I didn't -- yeah I'm it and you know it was great he -- the garden. Well it wasn't in six brought back a lot of Altman and no victors. I know that there's a lot of great hockey fans here in the Austin area and -- you know they've been really waiting two to come back in. And support the team come in -- so they've been they've they've kind of sat on the sidelines for for awhile on. And I certainly understand men and quite honestly don't -- four one of the things that they've really I was great it was the enthusiasm that they've brought back in the building. You know there's definitely kept playoff hockey actually Austin -- at the luxury of experiences as a player. Announce it now a upstairs during games and just seen that Bennett achieve that they've they've brought you know the players -- that. And it was certainly exciting times in the games that we had in Austin and that's another thing that. In our players you know it -- stepping get a taste of what it's really liked to play in -- win. Insert known as well as as they they worked for for some close games here reason. Those -- that unity is as we normally get a little taste some -- you want a little bit more."

" Well congratulations on -- simulating playoff series by the Boston Bruins best of -- in what should be a very busy offseason. -- aren't text you know I saw it thanks camp with this picture. And it's a former Roland right wing -- neatly hockey hall of Famer -- nearly"
