    It's the overly-protective Mayor Menino that put the kibosh on a Bruins viewing party for the fans, and it's the honorable Mayor himself who ruined and took away the practice of having a parade, then a giant rally where the players are allowed to speak to the crowd of fans. The Pats were the last team allowed to do it in 2004, since then its been nothing but Rolling Rallys, which are boring in comparison. We look back at the great city hall plaza celebrations (and the not so great ones) and wonder why Menino is such a party pooper. Bruins fans want the rally!!!! They want to hear the players speak!!!!
