Until Rick Ankiel and other than wrote I couldn't come up with --

Which was like in depth story as opposed to it's really work restored that the real life issues involved or is that going to prison. Really a testament to his persevere and the reasoning is so beloved. The cardinals clubhouse is because he did not quit and that's why he's so it's almost players rally around him. The guy that just role is difficult on our heels stayed with it and that is a great testament -- his character.

Is that also a testament to his athleticism and a a system that I would have the ability to do.

We have a tendency here to look at the wildcard race in the American league is really being between four teams. To an east in the 2 in the central Cleveland Detroit Boston -- New York. Do we run the risk of neglecting the Seattle Mariners because they may -- smack dab in the middle of it as well.

But the -- kick in an angels team that while very good I don't know is. Invincible so I do think that there -- but he treated -- both in the division and the wild card. Just because they'll you know play a lot doesn't he's been out of formidable group of players.

You know -- the DL and holly show has lots of friends you're one of them. And so as Terry Ryan friend of the -- general manager of the Minnesota Twins so I find it hard to believe that Ryan hasn't had. Like constructive communication -- your hand Santana Santana. Seems very upset -- what's going on in Minnesota of the dark. Do you think there's realistic possibility that Santana will be somewhere else in 2009 or even before.

Yes but it is I think what they need to do the world they knew their targets of the even now bedard a year behind it and it service time -- find out whether that's long term if Santana. And final question for me conventional wisdom in baseball is that pitching. Will kind of stay the course over the course of -- 162 game season hitting will come and go right now the Yankees hitting is otherworldly. They've averaged seven point eight runs a game since the all star break. Is -- the sort of thing where you expect reality to catch up and that they're going to cool off an all or they that's this good.

I've always thought there offenses as to I think the Red Sox front office believe that the yanks got this tremendous trust chocolate. -- in the first half there was support from offenses stamp. -- the adage is more you can went in the regular season went up and but it difficult when in the post season. Without that we've seen ethnic he came notable last seven years old first round knockout well largely because of batsman -- That happened in the post it better pitch so I don't think this surge. Is a garage in may not be something that they can thing at this level all season but they're going to sustain it pretty decent offensive. Ought to hear the question to me is even if they get any.
