Sometimes the talk shows that are on the talk shows not on. Iraq -- -- -- actually in the brazen. Talking about while all that talk show on this talk show okay I I just said. We were talking about turnover issues and and -- got like Andrew -- learned his lesson from his first year with second year dramatically improved in that department. I think Andy Dalton is a turnover waiting to happen. You're now down to two teams that the patriots can play next week. They can either play the Indianapolis Colts when they can play the Cincinnati Bengals making a play San Diego anymore of those of the two opponents who could command here. I wanna Andy Dalton in Cincinnati and here of the -- as a patriots fan wants to get when AFC championship game I'd much rather play Dalton the law. Bengals have turned the ball over 31 times this season that's more than any other team well. And I just I just they have been we retarded -- talk about this off the Europe and the Bengals have. Really impressive array of offensive skill position players to -- you Bernard -- any. Gresham for book register goes on and on in the you do some really -- on defense. I think this team and where is this of the Bengals I think they're going to go as far as the quarterback and he committed Obie did you elect there. Injured Dalton is is ready for his time in the spotlight. So panels it -- -- take their lead you know adult reminds -- -- in the event that he gets hot I think you can be right there he's flock Jewish dish to me. And the reason. Flacco prior to six we were on the went into the end of last season this playoff run. Was similar to the guy we solve issues -- I've it'll throw the Joseph ball's thrown up. Maybe don't have that ugly game against Baltimore that they still won with late year were at four picks right. And that's ago that stalled and that's you know that's the took in the playoffs and that's it makes people Salem you know honestly -- I don't think he's gonna get through when he picks and a big number two when he picks his years the quarterback that got his team to kaposi's I don't know. I don't know all that -- -- what they've got around to look at me do it this is a guy right this is Dalton here obligate if you have five games and here we completed at least have 2% of pass. He had five games -- there for at least 220 Federer -- through the entry through at least prepare I just that kind of up and down up and down I don't think that is sustainable especially the postal that's but I I think that that's sort of the quandary there because the argument to their speed of the game before -- it's was three with three. Two with three simple like that via so we get some an incredible bunch is the problem is there -- little ten or eleven or twelve games reason thrower or whatever -- to don't want episodes like you just don't know we're -- dead and it talked before about Alex Smith and Alex on -- is that guy whom use. Really in a lot of ways the prototypical quarterback looking forward you know not really inclined to take a lot of chances we Smart with the ball and controllable for not incredibly flashy. You know Erica throw for 300 yards a week but he really glued to you -- and drew -- and Alex Smith quarterback Alex with a quarterback be better for this bagel steam. -- -- Yeah probably. You know I don't I don't necessary amounts were I don't -- -- -- can be economic himself he just needs to it's kind of it's like -- it's more worried about doctor -- to animals and there's like bomb drops and what's up you know. And he has that look -- and so here's why. I actually think typical to be much much easier -- -- much more manageable for this reason one if you don't -- the and he throws it away. And you'll look back to a game -- wanna four but the in the four games bar you have won five weeks ago only four straight weeks without. -- three straight weeks without. So the reason I say that is like you know you don't know teacher candidates in the event that you deal while they do have good skill position as -- -- argument pretty good defense. The colts on the other hand. Defense to me it looks like our garbage it looks reminds me fueled days -- are anxious -- Korea that are gonna try to determine overlaid they're gonna try to get a sack -- second maybe score once and defense gave up 44 -- but but. It looked like the old days you know look like a given decreased to pass pressures they're probably getting the ball run up and on the field and they're gonna play for one internal reform turned the tide in the impeachment -- him to. I would much of what that team in the team in Cincinnati that way it looks like that's doubled by the -- I think that is gonna play. In the event that indeed doesn't just take the game away from the steam out of a pretty good. And especially go back and look how badly it looked last year in the playoffs it was a Houston that they lost -- I think Houston the first round for you you know beat the angels. And open. What what the -- -- -- and the thing that stood out in that game though. Was how limited. It looked like golds option and look like if -- AJ green is taken away by the scheme. And Gresham had sort of fallen on the told what that would look like you got to rule in the lean on. It's kind of you know. And I think -- different I think that team is sort of maturity is sort of expand they got Tyler -- for as a second tied an option was coupled actually. Rush from the stone vault. Some who is the other second clip and what's the other black and Marvin Jones who really sort of really -- really impressive year elevated in the second half of the season much more so but the point is they've got. They've got a legitimate second legitimate third there's other places -- the ball in the running game with Cuban artisans were bounced where they have their sort of McCluster guys there. That are balance a cup back guide to the board space to catch balls and and it is diversify the right attack. So I think they've improved themselves on the opposite side of the ball if for celebration happening animal that we -- dozen probable oil. There's a lot more this year. I think chemicals were sitting here talking about quarterback and -- you'll get a week where he's not from the immigrant that's not. I don't wanna be rooting for the team going in the playoffs not -- -- -- -- -- with what the -- out of the ironies you were talking about how can Andrew -- three receptions in the game yesterday. I -- and I mean it shouldn't pop it goes back to what we talked about in the -- before the quarterback it's the court record in the league and understand that but you know of the advocates to -- -- -- equipment in. But when -- that I think. Do I think ultimately when they're coming into this scheming and looking at -- looking at the Pringles you what -- it. Well you know work or we hope we're gonna get the good unions opposed the battery -- in the Flacco campers I think a lot of ways that makes sense. But he just being. -- -- You can at least on that the that. In the -- deep in -- of that troop of boy it's not sustainable -- that's the biggest argument against it -- and let me be clear. If you like difficult is that it. And and none of these whoever walks of mr. -- whoever is on either side of the trouble getting to a report in the way but he trees and it happened to go back and look at industry -- teams pull through this. Baltimore blown away internal different last year -- it was was palpable self I mean that that didn't have been the difference. The run that many have you men in the room at some -- that as a -- Roethlisberger. It's it it's simply learning for three or four weeks band to not do those things. And to be -- be Judas -- yourself and take off for the people at all reasons of in the case of earning new possessions in the active in the ways such a big thing. So of course she went the -- week -- crazy things happen -- -- -- -- -- -- -- your team -- -- it won't hurt him as your quarterback -- new flip that switch QB that dialed that you know again we collect the Flacco -- and last year but can you all of us and be something that you haven't been. That point in your career well ligaments all you know you can he's he's shown the ability to go three and four game stretch blow through Salinas to do that. You know it's you don't know again -- -- gonna get. But you could control that alone coaching staff -- -- a less aggressive approach on the field outside. Many weather make you do that all the sadness at how we worked decision the ball thrown out because wonderment there's. Here's the irony to beacons you and let's say it happens the way we expect that Cincinnati comes here next week Indianapolis goes to -- You've got the dome team outside in Denver now in Denver in January could be sixty literally. Or it took exhilarating to be -- war there and and the irony here is. Almost pulpit the war and the dome team -- -- outside and play in it because I don't think Peyton Manning complain if it's four. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Saints have never won a road playoff I Datsyuk is actually got -- -- -- look -- that would be. They were three and five on the road this this this past year Brees was a completely different quarterback at home as opposed to being on the road and they were able to go in there and post a really impressive victory. In Philadelphia. Granted it was sub zero but look to go on the challenging -- In winning a playoff game in that department I think that speaks to what you wanted him -- with the passing game drew still through to next I mean that that is why they -- it didn't win by being the new world you know yeah I think -- interest in the way to team has sort of changed -- you know Darren Sproles was as one -- -- -- receivers. Pierre Thomas it was the second leading receiver behind Jimmy Graham. But their backs are really are an integral part of how they throw the football you can still get away without one it's critical because these are shorter easier routes. But the more -- coal -- and those kind of guys that used to be the -- of the huge thing that's not the top party guys anymore. So I think things have changed from a little bit so maybe they're they're built a little bit with the tight in and -- -- the big part to weather the cold weather outside stuff maybe that's part. But the biggest thing was sort of the reinvention of of marketing. Pierre Thomas sits down with this mystery chest injury that pops open Wednesday. In playoff week which is crazy race at that guy's huge part of profits. And yet losing that they mean even more on the Clinton -- and they usually do that was weird turn of events I think it'll be -- what decided for. We'll take a break when we come back on the other side we're gonna talk about coaching carousel in the National Football League we had another one ball yesterday. I give Mike -- six home much respect for.
