I'm good god -- you -- -- very very well I urge you interviewed a number of weeks ago I think like early November news that you're having a hard time wrapping your head around the fact that you were being mentioned as a Heisman Trophy candidate. Now that you certainly are now that you had a month to think about it now that you know you're gonna be at the downtown athletic club Saturday night. What's your take on what has happened you -- where you are right now getting ready for this event Saturday night. Well I don't know I've been able to wrap my head around. You know I don't know it's gonna good attitude and what -- can even look like so. I'm really just excited give their evidence and see what it's all about. Be around other great players. -- about the history. Of the award. Problem. But you know I just feel blessed. Has the opportunity to be able to make it out there and I'm just so thankful to my teammates and my coaches and into the -- support me. -- -- -- Have you reached out to anybody most notably Doug Flutie and said what should I expect this weekend in New York. Our local Doug Flutie actually reached out to -- first. And he didn't really let me know what to expect he told me you'll be done. -- night and your smog and studious guy gonna get your degree in this winter Andre and he wrote the book and all that and you're kind of different from the average. College football star but are you ready to party would Johnny -- -- at. We packet or the -- -- Yesterday -- -- is that Jerry make sure you. Hewitt Johnny -- will visit -- real reform. So I don't know I don't know already flown I'm looking forward to me. Do you I know Euro a long shot I can tell you this you I voted Andre you were on my ballot I'll tell you that. Can you deserved it do you have a speech ready in case you pull off the upset. It I think we -- work on that on the flight. How -- does have to be. I guess the I don't I don't even -- working on. Just a little information at the moment. I think you give a suit picked out unit that crazy and get a little funky you got traditional in -- dark suit red tie. Not not moderate plus plus some classic don't. Period Mangold guard says -- had decision I have too many -- because it. Are you a big college football historian I -- do a lot about the history of the Heisman Trophy in other running backs who want to. They get -- big historian for college football -- mean you've been viewed. Earl Campbell Arcandor not a historian -- out of football historian and historian of any. What what are you know this was awesome enough and on -- the Heisman but that was it possible that you'd be one of the top. You be all America he'd be invited to this thing would date -- day what game was it that you thought maybe this is possible. You can't. I don't know. The possibility ever really trust -- Monday cottages. The last -- things have just developed really. But you know everything is possible. And you know -- seen as we've just been having a lot of success together. And the senior class -- really proud that this it was you -- that we were -- so it was. It was -- year is that you know BC football release hatteras surgeons and we we we -- we created a depleted big part in. In -- and things. We're talking -- Boston College running back Andre Williams Heisman Trophy candidate for Saturday at a downtown a political for you individually not a team but for you individually Andrei. What was the catalyst that due to the next level this season. Up previous as opposed to previous years playing football was or something physically you did in terms of training it was of some sort of like that went on in your head. In terms of hitting holes and making decisions. You've got so good so quickly. I don't necessarily think there was anything I did. Physically that was. Played a huge factor but it just the fact that we we came together so strong this isn't -- You know we were able to form a strong identity on the offensive side of the bull. And you know my old lines just they they really came together this year. You know they're really just. Embracing affected BC -- is historically aligned you. And coach prizes and a great job of gave them together and we execute at a high level on the field and you know we've we've -- football world. When -- like Riddick. Or you wide receivers think the fact that you know you're carried the ball forty times a game and he barely gets to throw the ball they have a problem with that. You know I don't think. They have a problem with the chases a great guy in the great leaders and he's done a great job of directing the offense and being a great leader on the field. And you know I think that our main focus this year wasn't really about. Individuals. On achievements it was about winning games. No matter how. Or what form they came and we just wanted to get into the -- gains. And you know that's. Part of part of are key to success is just making sure that. We were really. Just out there for each other. They Andre as your final play. As the Boston College Eagles in the bowl in Shreveport you have a choice you're gonna score of the game winning touchdown with like two seconds left on the clock. It's called a fifteen yard run. Would you prefer to bust a -- and a defender. They out of his jock strap in -- -- and untouched or would you rather either -- the defensive back with a stiff -- pancake him and Rodham over and you take. He and you Indians which would you prefer. -- -- -- The last play of the game I'm really I'm really not about -- That's not much yeah think -- think that this farm with a shoulder. Seek utopia family in this a really good Sports Illustrated story from I think it was a couple weeks ago put them on the map. The bad did if you -- not gonna play the NFL. Professionally you would go to Madagascar car and live at the house and make cheese that right that that's what you would do if you were playing football. I think he was. I don't know at this point. -- -- as a player Opel. I don't come in the way I would think that degree at this point so yeah I definitely can probably find something better to do it. You know later in life -- probably -- -- that anyway you know do I do wanna listen -- at some point insists. Seamlessly with -- Well you're I'm gonna get a question that these are the guys won't get it's about the NFL because obviously you can't ask James Winston about even man -- underclassmen Mason. Your senior. You go in the NFL it's. Do you think you can do what you did this year in the NFL could you be -- workers -- -- goal. I don't carry the ball point 530 times a game at the next level. Look I think that you that the remains to be seen and I know that ma -- Rolen and if so this is going. And change and develop and I'm gonna have to you know be able to. Develop along with my role. But you know I do pride myself on being able to and finish games in the fourth quarter and in addition here's the game goes on so. God's will that I make it to the league give but it carried mostly played. -- -- We still look at the weight of every defensive back for the game set this -- I don't know we'll be looking at the go for a sitting in scene anymore is 185190. Quarterbacks but. Closely. I'll close to completion is seeking a queen and a conscience. I'd say it about three quarters -- recorders always done and and what it needed something pages and what do you hope it would take away when this if and when this gets published when readers pick this up. I just. I would like people does -- just see a different perspective. On. The way the way to think the way to live election and and -- -- -- good luck Saturday night it should be a fun weekend in in New York win lose or draw but I'm sure Levitt Tommy elect and probably be a chapter in net acting acquitted of conscience at some point it out we'll we will be. Under a good luck we'll -- you down the road thank you guys -- Williams Boston College running back for New York City. To accuse islands and piece them along there and that she can only go forward. -- -- a very serious young guys go to Madagascar. I mean it's another Rocco proposes to a cartoon movies it was when -- those are most players who recently played Casablanca -- in his house and cheese and cockroaches. Cochran where's that. Madagascar. Waters on the Mediterranean it's the East Coast of Africa I was not a real problems what's in it bothers some wet myself and -- -- -- -- wanna go with a simple life. And when with a simple life in New Hampshire. In Maine now that's cheating vehicle unit posted you know now it's a matter from his cheeks when you hear that you think of Ricky Williams but -- -- pot smoked and I did -- clubs. I nobody better. You Google -- it's it's your local food products. I'd -- say -- programs are popular hobby. In the third and I -- -- -- -- -- -- to help what does investigator and -- sounds like -- and Ricky Williams type with his head on straight if that's possible. And we know Ricky Williams -- of Reagan dirt bag he's got -- is another name to support their mothers. He went to Indian smoke weed and he sold the media bill could -- you know some guy on the unease that's mystical magical journey -- find himself. He was. He wasn't looking for he was running away from things he had bills to pay children raised and he ran away from a I hate Ricky went to make you sick on drew was a simple fly on the Olympic ideals like.
