Yeah. Now word excel and -- swollen Valerie Butler forward or Ford. Fun cleaning. -- -- -- On its rate. Up. Tonight you know wild card game will take place that PNC park in Pittsburgh in the pirates and reds so we got winning -- Box. Got to go to the pirates of speculative in -- long there have been a playoff game of baseball playoff games. And the great city of Pittsburgh since 1990 true. Post Iraq and a -- -- saved that and about to graduate from college. So I'm -- virus earlier form as well loved the story I think it's gonna go at them because they're the whole I think the reds are good well put together Johnny -- as the pitcher. Larry I was good pitching to especially since moving to the National League -- that helps. It is like double teams firemen after all this time they have not had a playoff game since 1992 I think that's going to push them over the edge. And not just hard to see this story coming to an end -- in a one game playoff against the -- again I think that we got to where they have to. Yes we are Michael tomorrow night the rays and Indians will take the field to decide who will lose to the Red Sox and hailed yes it. So we got tonight or tomorrow is critical of the teams that you like to credit -- the story obviously it took its earlier. What does the whole Francona returned to Fenway. Policy Francona vs John -- Francona vs the keynote Burton John Henry -- Warner. All that drama so go over the Cleveland Indians. So win that game in the come to Fenway. 305. On Friday right here -- -- 37 W he died in the F them. I'll be written for Cleveland as well but I don't think they're gonna win that game I think temple wins I think Alex Cobb has been really hot pitcher down the stretch I think it just they're just the better team you watch them play last night you see what they've got. Longoria in the middle of that lineup young player will Myers. And in the villages do a lot of different things Joseph Maddon as a manager it's known knock Terry Francona and what he's done this year I think we have the better team and they win that game tomorrow. And you see them here on Friday. Terrell Suggs is added again. -- there. He sets up a little more. Arnold a little more soft little or no more heat on it. You should start with the quote. Telecheck gone down -- and have fun at the problem logical that. -- in my bill that some examples you know I was caught up in -- you know that -- Two I got the last bit you know not being let it stay here. I ordered a little better. Probably. We're talking about that but will he be apologizing for the next one may be Suggs said he blames it -- for the blackout. And being too chummy with John Elway and making ten million dollars per year. To Suggs and some -- -- -- like magic what he saw a black out with some supper ready to get he had handed it right he said Roger Goodell had a hand in -- -- -- -- -- trying to make his his entire league look foolish for fifteen minutes on national the international TV that's crazy but the other parts crazier. He's too chummy with John Elway because he came out of a total one day. And -- dealt talking to John -- a pleasant what does not always talking to John Elway clearly there's bias here what are you talked about. You in the same person. Beat Roger Goodell is not gonna talk to John Elway straight up crazy -- can foil hat whatever is there a conspiracy theory garbage pulled out not the not a -- -- you know what's gonna make it even angrier. He said he doesn't think Roger Goodell should be making ten million dollars a year. Yeah throughout. -- -- Roger Goodell in 2012 made. Your dollars -- -- team. Hey and a million. Dollars in 2012. A lot more of almost three times as much as tenderly I can say this because I'm not really good looking guy kind of an ugly guy and we can talk about her own the Terrell Suggs. I think what he's really upset about it. When you look like that I think I think it just makes you. It -- I think he's just crazy I think he's just he's that we. Really really an unfortunate. Example. I think that service that. -- -- The AT&T question of the -- the Celtics and Comcast -- announce some major changes to the broadcast lineup starting this season. -- from the studios tank Wayne Marshall and Dickerson in his Draper chin and talons. Also -- on the road as well Danny Ainge and Chris -- what the hell is going on with the Celtics. A man Greg Dickerson this -- -- -- dream job. -- Greg Dickerson was saying he was perfect in that role. As the as a sideline guy so I got a feel for me he. He loves he loves basketball loves the Celtics I think that's that's generally what he wanted to do but they're being released about to me. Many agents and analysts. It was a great analyst for TNT. When he when he was finished with a game for a cup for a couple of years. I don't know how that's gonna play out my first reaction was. Oh my god how could you do this you're not gonna have an objective broadcast that I thought when -- get out of it if I let it. You don't have an objective brought Europe anyway -- love god for that so they could be interesting to hear the general manager of the team. Give you his take on what's happening in the game I'll I'll I'll I'll I'll make -- prediction. Did you change. What he does these games. You get himself fund. You'll save something. During the broadcast that will lead to a -- now we are some kind of looking for two and I think it's a creative idea and I like the idea and then just sort of thinking outside the box OK we have one of the better analysts in the country who happens to -- your general manager President Obama from out there and and and hear what he has to say. When you get the movie comes he's been basically just normal standard you can see that the bonus flops a little bit of benefits hit a fifty pound guys -- -- his. Being with a double the things we give him out of -- bad those are principles of. I wanna hear it now do I think he's gonna be impartial no of course not. If he is if he's really able to tell you some of what he's thinking and and and what the general managers watching for during a game what it what is what is a valuation is of the things out there on the court at that time that's -- -- -- -- and I had also. That's -- -- -- this could hear this all the time like this -- results are out. If this if it's ABC. And it's always -- going to be in brain. And and you say while. That they're not being impartial and I think that's and that's fair criticism because the national broadcast. Due 95%. Of people are probably being conservative. 95% of people watching a local broadcaster not one impartiality what's right at -- fish if it does take -- -- At just some project where you you're you're trying to you know be right on the middle you don't want any opinions you don't want any buyers. If you're watching the -- In New York you want somebody who's gonna give it to you that give you the perspective of the knicks and Celtics in Boston same thing cavaliers. Under what ever so. I think that is. That's a silly point. Impartiality you don't have it that's right and almost an -- Only I mean there's like there's a decent chance he will be more impartial when Tom and I -- -- but there is a decent chance this will give you a better shot at an impartial observers and Tommy and he's got more on the line -- -- if the F impartial they have means he's trying not to defy -- I think it's not impartial -- general manager of the game here's why this is a good idea more than anything else this'll give you reason to watch the -- Because there are not going to give you reasons to watch man on the basketball court not a good team but not going to be a good team not a very interesting how many 28. Twenty athlete with -- generous as they somewhere between twenty part of Britain are betting that I don't that's the -- date they should be worst. But there are some really bad team that will prevent them from being where every day so I get to 12 bad teams play against each -- -- those of the games that are going to -- have a lot of those Celtics have a lot of those let's see how they look against some other young Joe -- team from god knows what -- amateur sport that's much of -- -- -- -- against Charlotte can't wait for that -- out at him again gaining Charlotte Charlotte other. Hillary Charlotte might be better really -- Charlotte might be better that's a bad sign. -- -- The had ever had I don't have a back -- our board I know I know Michael Jordan can't get draft all that well but they've had about a hundred -- -- a little -- just got a lot of love -- don't -- an -- but it. You know you look at the you look at the Celtics. I don't think it's you're you're not a valuing them at the Celtics and not evaluating them on whether it's 26 wind between nine winds -- 35. Just wanna see some progress you wanna see that they're getting it you wanna see that that Brad Stevens is adjusting to the NBA game. And that some of their gods are growing so if if this went 27 games which circumstance. Jeff green is the -- guy capable of either carrying a team or being a legitimate number two guy attitude. And asked Brock what -- -- but I'm not I'm documents about any of those. Whenever I like you're watching to see -- this will happen on one I'll be watching to see whether or not. Interesting idea at least to see Danny -- as the as the GM of the team commenting during a game as for Chris -- generally know -- to make about a man I would like to Arum. Before before throne judgment out there but that's not an interesting choice. All. Great point -- says please let Danny Ainge of the clippers game. Doc Rivers. Dignity and thought the -- Good bad probably bad move by Doc Rivers I don't understand what he was thinking about it. A document gives rotation together or or how about that. Doc was never got to that yeah a couple of different I always thought about that he never did it. Our -- to talk to Jonny Gomes who should join us sometime here in the next little while as they get ready for game one of the AL DS on Friday 305 you're gonna -- right here in 937 WEEI at 305. Friday afternoon so if you're stuck at work. And it guy column about this earlier -- and and they weren't spared him his complain about it sand. Our man this game I watched this team all year long at 7 o'clock almost every single night's opener on the West Coast. I can see every game I work in normal schedule during the day and now all of a sudden they get to the playoffs when most anxious to watch and it's at 305. CB I mean certainly I understand the irritation now baseball's goal. Is to make sure that they don't have as many overlapping games right they created day of drama he had a game at 3 o'clock game it's -- 7 o'clock or 8 o'clock like that and so you don't have too many overlapping games you can CU. -- -- team playing another team play or if you're not in a in a playoff city you can watch both games on a given day but. It is a cripple who who's who knows how many people are really able to it did watch an entire game that starts at 3 o'clock in the afternoon. We knew I -- our life is great program rocker worked at right other people's Sports Radio industry but we don't live the normal schedule that the majority of people in the world do. Except it is kind of BS today except. It's happening on Friday you know we talk I -- that's quick ouster last confront -- Friday casual Friday has taken over America. Anybody does anybody work -- here right now in the -- we're we're not include we understand we have a cushy job it's a great. But for the most part people who actually working for a living doing real work for a living. Anybody who works past 2 o'clock Friday anymore. -- -- -- -- -- -- had a real job and often people are just a casual Friday is is if like the rage now. Noon. 1 o'clock. And checked all the day. Do you think it's going to be a sellout on on Friday yeah. Well course it is and anybody can get tickets of the game but it's more about just the big picture of view of of its not even. That a lot of people anybody you can get out of work that -- stinks the stinks and you fall to team and all the sudden they play 3 o'clock on on a weekday and maybe are not able to watch the first couple of innings of the first half now fortunately it's a Red Sox game that's what 2 hours until 5 o'clock that's -- winnings. The third inning you should be -- to grind it out of bats doing their thing third -- we -- catch the game.
