I was up three listed on the first got to -- -- those three perfectly legitimate question thanks Kirk. Buddies now. Or something like that alcohol -- W he had WEEI dot com. Of course we -- -- to the question about 545 by fifteen this afternoon at any question you got Texas 379837. We will answer them Red Sox lineup is out Pedroia back leading off once again. Pretty much the same line of David use it for awhile -- is playing third base tonight -- will middle Brooks and Ryan Dempster is on the mound. Basically in. Basically in the -- and continue on and and probably the best news came out today. It's quite news it's likely to lose -- In between because I stole nebulous but whatever. Ed werder saying it that Rob Gronkowski is 5050 now to play on Sunday at home against OK so it. So what that may work in order obviously so is if he's right if these are on Wednesday. Tomorrow. The injury report will say Rob Gronkowski. Questionable. Or write. -- a -- that sort of made the NFL yes doubtful. 125%. Chance of playing questionable 5050. Probable WR percent likely I think more I think you -- I think you'll probably -- them as questionable although I believe he is probable. How will be surprised if he does not play Mike -- Michael Jeffrey shock I'll be surprised. -- -- -- There's hope they're -- you can still in there Michael just feels so you really put the heavy emphasis on -- -- -- What you meant I'd be surprised to -- it it seems as if it's moving in that direction in the factory here werder upgrade it. The 5050. Tells me that that the earth is this is going to be all systems go well -- While Josh McDaniels was asked about that OK Josh McDaniels made available house whether or not his game plan would change much of grown plays said. I think anytime you have a player that can make the kind of impact robs me in the past if you have a player like that back in house to affect your plan and hopefully wanted to positive manner. I don't know it would affect the group that we use are not used whether we would use a certain temple or not I don't know that that would be really impacted but definitely think. That you have that you would like to have a guy like that on the field as much as you can if he's ready and able to contribute the way that rob has always been able. And what did you learn anything there. Yes what -- talked to Greg Xian OK you try to get them to think that. We can do anything rob no Rob Gronkowski might play. And you better game plan form because he's really important to us now we know he did follow up question theaters. But maybe I think that comment. From Josh McDaniels was all forward from Tampa coach follow up question you have a certain type of game plan to mine in terms of the types of plays that you would use. If -- is in your life. Daniels again. I'm not thought about it in that manner our game plan is gonna be set up for the opponent and it's hopefully going to be set up in such a way that we can take advantage of some opportunities the ones that are available at the tight end position. Would certainly an application for -- -- -- happened to play whenever that is. The more any player that's coming off a few games away -- is healing or whatever the case may be the more they play the more comfortable they are and the more they are in the game and the more you can start dictating some of the things you would do so what you're there's maybe a little bit different. It's okay might play we're gonna wait and see but if he does. It's not like he will have been back for two or three games or can confidently really built my game plan either around him or in many ways around him. It's more of I don't know exactly what to expect from him so I can't very well dictate or allow him to dictate the way I write up my whole game plan. Yeah I think sometimes that we listen to these guys so much that we start to. Fall. For some of the missed direction. That is coming our way some of that camouflaged. That there would not there. It is really not that complicated although we did the same thing with -- -- What could buckles comes back we heard from John Ferrell several times. -- -- comes back you can't expect a guy. Who was ten -- oh or -- you know at that time not know what went seven ERA he can't expect. That -- well why not. You tell the guy it was nice to know. You're telling me that he's healthy. -- so you wouldn't put them out there if he wasn't healthy. And he's got good stuff so I do expect the same guy since they would Rob Gronkowski if you're clearing him to play. I don't expect any first game jitters. I don't expect Rob Gronkowski did take four or five weeks to get back into what he's a football player and damn good one. So yes I expect you to use ground like you always with a little curious if. You follow questions are you guys can into the question as well 6177797937. Year your expectation level within its borders report that it's 5050 -- can actually play this weekend I do like the -- at all that report means that workers right you can play it at 5050 but. Does he do everything that makes grown -- I understand what you're saying you're not clearing him to play a list he's actually ready to play. But that doesn't mean you wanna put him in all the situations you might normally put -- -- You wanna keep them as an in line tight end to make block as often as as as he does a very good run blocker seeing major part. Of what you're trying to do in your run blocking scheme or you just trying to send them out on pass routes and really make more of a receiver. Are you gonna allow him to run all the same pass routes that that they put him in disease already. I'm asking these questions and I'll I'll give you my answer to second but this is part of the conversation that you would have to. While want to expose him to as many hits as he might take. As he's coming back from a back injury in the forearm injury to -- allow him to be in -- -- to why I'm only gonna use them in specific ways that they keep them a little bit out of harm's way. Is he truly a 100% ready to go right now. Or would -- be better off. In a couple of weeks but I wanna get him back captors and -- I can't even if it's in a limited. -- is better off and a couple of weeks that it would be out there. You -- about the year because you think the guys ready to play and you use them what -- can really help you in some -- an elderly and those things are worth it to you right now -- -- a -- You don't put out there he can only do something's not right he's got a he's got to be able to play the position and that's what that's what the doctors tell them. Okay he's not ready he's not ready to play because he can't do this story can't put his arm up this way or his back is not ready to respond to this. So if if he's out there. Then he's going to be the same the same gore well. You're gonna use them the way you'd you'd expect the -- used -- that then the reason that kind of hedged on that little bit is. You don't have you don't have that the compliment to crock that you had in the past and I know that those guys and they play without each other before. -- they they both have had some injury concerns. Early in their careers so we've seen grow up without Hernandez Hernandez with a ground. But. In terms of what you think this guy is what he can provide to the team you put them out there I -- -- I think it's necessary. For him to be out there because. The position is one -- haven't. Even thought of -- -- -- -- the patriots tight end in the purchase. To gain direct and I believe one pass -- Odom whom am. Yeah I thought I was gonna be -- Sam and I I choked under pressure. They've directed one pass -- -- -- they pull one it's unfilled and it was turned over to believe those are the only two throws they've made too tight ends through two games. I think about that I mean to your right I mean I'm I'm agree with -- they I they've completely ignored the positions so far. So much so so much so the tide and for the New England Patriots has become this. You put. Markets candidate left tackle and you take your left tackle who was a tight -- when he went to the University of Colorado when he started the year -- you turn him. Into a third -- -- so they have gone from. Exploiting differences in looking for great matchups with the time in two. Turning your left tackle the -- to a third tied him for. More -- text message here AT&T Tex lines has didn't -- play in the Super Bowl couple years ago and all I heard from patriots fans that if he was a 100% they would've won the game but they played them so we have to be good enough to plight. I'm not buying this is text message you're you're saying not buying the fact that have -- comes back that is necessarily a 100% and able to do all of the things that make him crop data they'll what they'll come. We see the obvious -- game three of the regular season vs your last game of the year and are you 100% healthy in your last game of the singular most important game of the -- that's obviously that the distinction there's no doubt about it -- it you can if you can drag yourself out on the field for the Super -- you're gonna do that. You think it's out a plausible conversation between Belichick and and that doctors and wrong where's his aren't what are you were able to give me this week coach I can't do at all. Not a 100% but I think I don't know I can make every block the what you needed gone head to dissect the -- Winamp. But I can run down the field catch the ball I can do that for you this week you still want. You think Belichick has no yeah -- would you think he says no. I would say no it's what you want most important players. He's more important now -- is more important now than it was in April more and more important than he was. At the beginning of the summer for obvious reasons he's risking getting hurt again that you might not going on what you are great but why bring back guy who's not who's not totally healthy with the so I think it's I think it's huge for the offense -- Because. I hope that the break. If they had -- -- at Thursday's game not having to come back on Sunday the fifth fifteenth and then be you know some more practice times some more study time. And some wore -- chemistry time quite frankly on the 22. It's huge for Dobson the guys were healthy Dobson and Tompkins Italy relatively but it but also good job and also big crock. So. This is this is a significant. -- Development. And he's got to play. Ensemble just feel that they agree -- you do you think -- grown plays and he's a 100% 617779. 7937. And you cannot hit the text line eighteen detects line as well 379837. I'm glad I got that in there is really important me to be able to -- on the air with Oscar -- over and -- They're very intimidating rep before you're about to say it until you really thought kind of practice that a few times in your mind I totally understand what people refused ago. It was a little panic moment Foreman Michael I panicked right here on the air it was awful. The panic. What don't worry about that but that's amazing though. -- we've talked about these receivers you have to question Belichick yesterday about a rookie receivers and all the things have to think about. It's amazing that they are that they haven't struggled more offensively. What do you take away a position on the field which used to go to. And and now you're just focused on. You're you're focused on Juliet -- -- who primarily thirteen catches. At a couple of rookies. For making they scored all. Be out while I mean part of that though is is -- look you've got Tom Brady and that's always been the one thing that you hold up and yet Brady has not been excellent he was not excellent. In the game on Thursday night he was much better in the in the buffalo game. But he was not perfect universe -- -- there was from Brady is well on Thursday so. About the mix aluminum exports here for a -- are just a discipline and a perspective this is what it was like the patriots. Without ground. It was kind of like it if you've played you're playing basketball. In Dennis Rodman was going through his thing where only want to do was rebound he can be two feet away from the basket and it is what put it back up just. The rebound and throw it back out because he wanted to -- rebounds that -- -- -- about scored. So you're essentially playing. 514. On often that you don't have to worry about it escort me that's how bad it's been with the type of position where you don't even think about. So I think I think -- coming back whether he catches. Two balls on Sunday or eight its its present. -- they just opened up the entire off and I know you know this but even more so to add on to what you're saying it's not just playing without one guy or taking away a position. It's taking away position that a year ago was your ultimate strength right that that was the heart and soul of what you were doing 617779. 7937. -- -- boss and I've. Yeah I don't think you have much regulation time on the air. I'm just costly. -- wouldn't put him back on the field always and -- -- -- injured in the first. Well what if he got three injured because you think he came back too early. Oh well I think if that's the case and and we don't know how many did you go by with what the you go by what the team says. Go by what the team tells you and they say it's all of the doctors let. If that happens let's say you're absolutely right. That it came back too early he got -- Don't you think both parties are no -- one of -- or what. Well that was a patriots you who green lighted and said okay nodding to that again aren't boards -- who says I don't worry about my career. I'm talking to come back to earlier -- came back too early last time I got hurt Tyler's in the car hi Tyler. Again it -- I don't want to call me a quick point I'm not such without eat and -- but I'm back. What kind of impact do you think that outlined in our opening up on the note. I don't know I don't know. If we know enough about such told us they would -- impact is on them in other words I don't know sub field can play. So I think with Tompkins and they both had a terrific training camps. And and they did some nice things in the pre season but I'm not sure what you have another guy I'm. Look if he's a good player yes. Crocs presence there will help him but I don't know what you have. Wish we'd seen a little bit more in these two games I was in play in the second one and really only played the first -- first half of of the buffalo game before he was either -- story injured at. He's an intriguing player -- the in in the pre season from him he was able to make this team. Despite the fact that he was an undrafted guy who nobody really knew much about how many times why don't but it might even just make the team he was. He was starting India wanted to write off the back there were really using him and other tight and they said that if he was not good -- veterans think they could -- they're not great either but Daniel -- is at least a veteran who'd been around for awhile mean if if you had decided that side felt it was just some random undrafted guy couldn't play. Even need to have them on your team he could go with the other guys. The question though is not -- of replaced. The hold tight end package it could be just replace the Fernandez role. Which is different from the ground and I think it is that work better now withdrawn returning I have a seminar request you know arsenal note -- helps them. Nor does -- help -- yes Kenny Kenny play -- Hernandez role now. Hernandez. While not as well as Hernandez a lot expecting him to turn into that that caliber player yet the question is just in playing Hernandez's role. Is it now easier for him and does he improve with the return of ground and I would think that the answer would be yes I think your play sure I don't know what you have in the player though -- -- -- -- distilled still incomplete -- central Dana is Ingraham and I -- -- -- All this other talk about the current situation to end. You can party during record as an example I agree that I don't think they put him out there who have not 100% basically but. I think there's a mental aspect -- that an injury truth saying you know. He's -- Katrina little gingerly I don't know you can expect the dog go all the -- You know made based on the. You don't you don't expect the old ground because you think he might be heard what what what don't you expect them. I'm I'm not saying not help the I'm just saying it's gonna take a while to get back into the group that they didn't connect -- in early. In the. -- ain't got not -- not saying he's not going to be one that. Surprisingly well. Electric threats but it is fair to be on the fence and there are -- data you bring up RG three who maybe didn't come back with the same kind of confidence in his knee that he needs to in order to be himself. For every RG three there's an Adrian Peterson who instantly hit the ground running -- no pun intended as soon as he came back from the ACL about their push a little but I don't know how we're supposed to -- whether or not Rob Gronkowski has any year or doesn't react the right just right -- that temperature. Destiny is go with what you know about drunk. And an iPad funded. And that hard to believe that he would come back and be cautious now than any way you know. If he brought the example of RG three. Different position to for the for a quarterback on timing is so important RG three. Know whether you believe him or not RG three should I wanna play in the pre season Mike Shanahan said no absolutely not -- got the marketplace and look what happened. Game one of the season. Game one of the season the first quarter against Philadelphia the terrible second quarter with a little better and it wasn't until the third quarter when they were down by 26 points. -- start to look like the quarterback that we saw last year. I think in his case. Even though it's controversial may be needed to play a few snaps and breezy but for tight end like -- Did this he did he need the same thing that you need the same thing to be comfortable again. I don't know I don't know I don't know exactly what he needs Gary's in the car I Garrett. -- -- -- That's got a couple things -- play devil's advocate on both I don't think that they would bring -- earlier if he wasn't healthy. And obviously the guys fearless and and so he came back. On the the forearm injury went -- diamond on on a play out of bounds we thought I don't be scared to get hurt again. Another then it would help that the offense has been. I mean -- kind of like that they have to bring drunk that they need to open the buildup settlement rookies aren't getting it done right now -- that are really have much more virtuous. Well I think you ask good questions and I think your -- right on both of them so let's take it to the next level OK if it if you're gonna expect growth to play a Michael I think you win me over and I expected -- plays. That that he's going to be good when he's out there he's going to be if not a 100% 90% he's going to be something very akin to what we wouldn't ordinarily expect from him. If all that's the case. How much better does -- make the Patriots offense how much better does -- make the other tight ends how much better does that make the receivers how much better does that make the running game. Back question axle -- WE yeah.
