Espn.com. Our baseball guy Gordon needs with the -- leads to come -- and and water on his typing fingers. Joins us on TAT and T hotline AT&T forgy LTG are you doctor about your keyboard -- I don't know if you read my Patriot I did John yes I can I ask you does that -- original I'm good on our -- put on the bottom of my computer -- Went up twenty words a minute -- my typing I I -- the results are gonna. -- told -- and I believe it gives you more movement on your throws is that we understand it absolutely right good. Yeah I need some of that too brutal so -- went -- -- by this. You can find that most guys drugstores and -- and you can order it online. You -- -- you're one of the guys let you know -- obviously. I'm on my in my heart that he's already out of the press box I like Q you're really quick wit here. Like I'll always wondered what you see what I'm I'm the -- out a you know what if you read deer -- rate while the substances you you can turn out like a war and peace and -- -- Yeah you know I actually thought about well and you're at least Spragan is that the call but I figured it would confuse the issue -- Gordon I mean I it was amazing how quickly people around his circled the wagons around play buckled beginning of course with a with Eric in Rem dog and and and -- guys and it just the question. Offended them do you think it's fair to ask if if if uncles is -- and saw that he's doing it be dark and the ball is someone that he's been unhittable. The most part and those guys I picked up a -- just ask the question what has he done differently. Well here's to entertain -- jump on me. -- -- -- War as hard as nails guy he's never been you know I I I'd go to guy for the media. And he's not the kind of guy who. Seeks attention towards. Mean it hurt I'd -- he would watch video after the game in Indy was introduced thrown -- that are so I went to him and enough to operate in he -- Perry -- right. And I could even talk about it on your -- so well I don't know you know maybe not. So it wasn't until I picked it up in Toronto understood that we were gonna write about it that they not only committed. Are you talking about on the year which beat in the struggled video in August. Mark was just owner or tension and all. Why would one of the first things seem to. Was walked over to the other side of the deal in twelve months ago and probably -- -- I mean I'm Mon B guys you know I up Colts was loading up and here's why there aren't these -- -- guys who you are trying to seek attention. On -- I was training. I know is that he's pitched. In over a hundred made over -- -- start them in closest seventies and not one on the deal as you anyone ever use him doing so I mean it could be some gamesmanship involved here I do going to be fascinating and I just see -- -- -- admire -- opening. That you could drive a Mack truck general and I do all the umpires attention to a and all I will he do that. It's a great question and we'll have him pop culture it's it's it's not that he's going to be fretting about it and doing a good. Well here's what RBB two I you know I mean it is -- -- to -- it. There are going to be -- a lot. Well he says it won't be any different his routine will be the same I I think what will be fascinating about tonight. The -- and anyway that's doesn't get in his head can get him off his game a whole. Guys are gonna -- I know there's such a bang it hiding in the why go and it. Fortunate to be a little more Scott Dohmann and putting up on your left arm and going yeah you're not. Aren't just about or every Betemit. -- -- -- -- even that you were -- in pro later on every pitch they look at me. I got Colts would constantly going to do is let -- let Ormond and and knowing that they're the kind you know we've in this era -- -- considered in every move mean. Its -- public scrutiny. That would be a pretty all pretty -- to be cheating out in the open like. Gordon. Buchholz ERA was 909. He'd given up. A number of home. Yes -- dirty doing correct this season he's allowed one home run in 44 and two thirds inning and his ERA is 101. What is the difference is it as simple as John -- back. I think that. Contributing. There's no doubt I I would give one yet this credit here too but I think the good and I mean it's a fact. Of going into last season. -- Colts was no comment off of mr. accurate and that it is -- the end of the 2011 season. I mean in his head certainly there was also some concern about whether he would hurt himself and I may have been -- it out. His delivery and his mechanics. I can you look at I certainly the second out last week and really after mid may last year he pitched very well. Are so I don't think this is this as they are overnight transformation I -- that. He certainly pitching up the -- -- -- -- so our -- straight our we've only given up too. Two under or you're in and gone seven innings in each of a curse -- you couldn't ask for more than that. I think that he is who seamer. It's sinking fastball and all that has great movement on it and he could I. Scott wore it Tuesday you could throw a strike it. Simon. And you do it -- I keep pitching -- pretty competent and yes I -- being John Carroll back to part of. Or do you concern about middle Brooks sort of long term and look at them is walk numbers are never -- he strikes a lot. Horrible slump right now I'm sure he'll be you know this dobbs can be OK to take him as a potential starting look at these numbers. Is -- reason for some pause here now he reevaluate him. Well I think of course. Any time a guard goes in such a prolonged slump and Spiller wrote. Where I mean dignity or played seven -- games in its first season last year or getting hurt our. The question is legitimate case -- to me. Necessary adjustments. Through these adjustments to pitchers have -- and make them in until he does so. You -- -- You're right about some concern but I I. -- -- -- that is there. I think he's he's gotten himself out more than any now during the opening you really don't mean it. But hey how are they -- the other it will create -- obvious how -- he did it is it is right or. There's ups and you know he's -- -- now -- -- -- You know pitchers are gonna take an I. I think it too soon to. Eric page went on the road I in the middle or are you in its gonna make an adjustment mentally I think it's an option. Is it to sell out too soon to sound the alarm that a three game sweep in Texas it's a three game losing streak six and four of their last ten maybe we're watching the Red Sox water seek its own level and that might be the mediocrity to 500 baseball team court. John would whip it -- you -- three game sweep in practice -- -- and you say thank god we're going home. He's got the Minnesota Twins are waiting -- all of by the Toronto blue you're good that they're not agree that that -- -- thing. Out -- -- will will preach against it Lucic as we get. Will make an issue. It's not. And I. You know the Texas Rangers playing through it all right now. The Red Sox obviously get out -- in it pretty capable yesterday it was was. I could've gone either way I. Our old friend Adrian Beltre. You can damage again. -- he's one that you wouldn't -- the -- I. No I don't know mr. Austin they will be guys have a three games -- -- the -- option saying they have but really no fear and trepidation about Bailey's bison to whistling past the graveyard with this from Gordon from our. Absolutely. Because you look at his -- Injury history do you mean that races -- on to -- lack. You know it -- -- you know of course last year was a free net on the entry of Puerto. You know he has had -- arm problems he's had elbow problems is that it's too cold so far he's gotten hurt a lot. In his career so I feel like get a it on the Red Sox -- -- elected in 88. A clean up all of a on this MRI today I'm -- for goodness. It's important things where we were all wrong and it be and be paid. And it should I'm I'm concerned on the right side -- Gordon what are. If Toronto makes an issue to -- -- demand to look at his club look at his hat in the umps -- what will. John Farrell then do. Well you know. I might I say it on the gates hitting well. -- -- -- -- There will be caught or you met him. With akin to go to certain groups -- after the way your mop up role on on March last week. Call -- a -- and Pena did the guy you need to make I'll pay me to just sit. -- It also a mid am I'm guessing also might look at but -- his bat or something like that there. I'm tired -- I'm sure I mean it's mentioned can you wrap it up. I'm very green in a situation like. There that -- I hadn't thought an interpreter when you make it cured that that would be a an appropriate response. I'm not convinced I'd let you into his ready to do that. -- judge you by the reaction. Out of the chase. In the club option they have it in that broadcasters -- -- I was not taking it didn't seem ready to go on that will matter matters more at hand -- buckled pitching tonight why wouldn't garden higher already at a game below 500 ticket shot maybe get this guy off his game tonight rattling him a little bit making -- less than super human. Yet it's a great job when when the twins have camps Worley who is own or with a seven point 22 and a break -- my right. I could be made yet. I've tried to get whatever IQ and I'm reading thing you don't do that is. You know it as one in in and Jerry actually kind of embrace the issue you know once you are you and who threw another club they're gonna start doing that you would not all of a sudden. You're gonna get your pitchers check writer bitter back and all that and you may wanna put on that. I know like we -- Kenny Rogers in the in the 2002 World Series. When television clearly showed that the pine -- and in the palm of his standing. In really good to catch up on Rogers channel. -- -- -- in and 'cause. You know he didn't want to I wonder if you present the -- the World Series he didn't want a pitcher thrown out of a World Series game -- That. I think you all so. You wanna -- -- -- and it's major or that would have.
