You know wanna get over to the garden and talk to might try him -- got a little taste of the frustration of Bruins fans but I think you got that at the garden tonight to didn't chip. I did it and -- you could definitely sense the attitude of the caller in the 171565. That were in the building tonight I think a lot of them expected a much more sense of desperation as we talked about a couple hours ago. I'm Ben was on display from the Bruins. They're not that's because they just wanted to get the regular season over whether that's because they may be their legs may be gone at this point namely Chara. And that is Seidenberg. And they really are in desperate need of a couple of days off. I don't know the. Well let me ask you this Mike -- when asked about being in the locker Bjorn both of those locked rooms today so let's start with the Bruins. And I think you'll understand better than most when I ask you this question. Sometimes what they say are most of the times what they -- is not what they're feeling so my guess is you're in that locker room and I'm sure there was plenty of talk about look. It doesn't matter an hour in the playoffs we know were planned or -- and on blah blah blah but what. What they've really Sam what would they feel and did it was dear. A disappointment in the lack of desperation this weekend. And why I asked point blank. -- it is a raft which are important the united disappointed you didn't beat Montreal for number Tuesday. And they all kind of deflected the question of course we wanted to win the division but our main focus now is on the playoffs. And it's -- little bit like -- mean whistling past the graveyard especially when -- says. That I like most parts of our gamer a lot of parts of our game and there's just a few things we need to work on. That didn't sound you know -- didn't ring true about that because. I'm not only the way he says but there's clearly the evidence shows otherwise sit. The Bruins right now -- -- able to get their nose courteous Claude Julien told us after the after the in this post game press conference. We need to get our nose dirty work score goals and we're gonna finish around and that's the other thing he did call out and he mentioned. -- -- and in this regard. Is when you have open shots at the net like he did coming down the right wing. In these third period you've got to get shot on goal otherwise tight corner in the net and right now they're not doing and Claude -- believes in this seems that there are going to find a way that turned the page to get their -- Joseph back. And the offense will come in the playoffs but it's found a lot more hopeful that it could convince sect. Ask you about staying in it's been you know he was a big part of helping them win the cup. He's he burst upon the scene a lot is expected of him. Because of the talent he has because of where he was drafted because he's already the Stanley Cup champion he's been. Caldwell publicly even if it hasn't been. You know really loud we did did we've been left to wonder why he's been moved from line to line. I mean he can't nearly always said reputations are made the playoffs it is this a big playoff run for Tyler saying right now. Sure I think it's a big playoff run for Tyler say -- Brad Marchand and Patrice Bergeron I think this team is going as far as that. Outlined take them me you know they've been regarded as the number two line all season you know. Certainly. That's what they are defined by. In in a lot of media coverage but it. In and by way of thinking I think in the top line and there's still a top priority to get going -- in the playoffs so that's why doesn't produce. I think there in big trouble and I think they could be in big trouble against trot -- do I think they'll beat the Maple -- yes because I don't think Toronto. I think Toronto is. Based on the match ups and and the defense of weaknesses that the Maple Leafs have I think that's the best possible actual for the Bruins. And maybe it it cures some of the off a proposed for prone -- going through right now. I'll that they had better. Be prepared. To score because -- but one -- -- can't do they can score right they know that they -- goaltending is the first strike. But they can put -- from the -- Mike it's been a long day at the garden if you wanna finish by asking about the Celtics won last -- question. What's a story line we're not thinking about in this Toronto series yeah that's original six. Yeah they haven't played each other since 74. Yes Phil Kessel is always a story line when these two teams played the Bruins have won twelve of thirteen. They'll Maple Leafs won the last Q what's something we're not thinking about. Heading into the playoffs in this series and I covered all the. I think you're pretty elected such but I will tell you that I think. To correct because they haven't caught in the spotlight. Because remember his last game and wrote about this on on Friday morning. After his game on Thursday night -- his last game in the playoffs was game seven against -- law requires 2000 cat right and that is the last lingering memory of a lot of Bruins fans to perhaps. And -- playoffs and the twos and -- to consider tonight. This is my chance to finally show people. That I can be a coach and guy in the playoffs and I intend on doing malveaux. Interest -- -- interest in years. Well I mean too good to be very very straightforward and very honest. In situations like that and I thought it was and the other thing out of what you a lot of listeners so and YouTube butch. That the playoffs for the -- opened Wednesday night here -- eyes and they shelled just announced that great went -- Saturday it will be games one -- -- here in Boston before this series. Moves to Toronto well -- we. Hood if the Celtics do their part have a game six on Friday night in between there. That is correct that is why it is to -- the aid the NHL dot. Officially gained -- Wednesday and Friday and the given what the Bruins had just been through in the last month. With their schedule with somebody makeup games that you never -- hockey teams go through a there was no way the NHL and start them earlier that -- -- I'm Mike you joined us earlier in the program while the Bruins -- going on talk about the Celtics say you're in that locker room I guess. This simple way to ask it is this -- give us one reason why there will be a game six on Friday night that the -- go to New York win game five. And one reason why they're seasonal land. Started the reason why it will continue. On to a game six. Is because. Kevin Garnett will continue to rebound the way he did today in a game that. The Celtics getting crushed on the boards Kevin Garnett it was the only rebounder. There who showed up and really the backbone of the defense. Many many times you know all yours at a big rebound late in overtime. But I think that the optics can not -- down any worse than they did today and so they've found a way to win on the and I think they will finally by the way. To handle the New York. Garden crowd in the second half. The one reason I don't think there will be a game six in Boston in the next well. Finish it off on Wednesday Carmelo Anthony's not an issue 33% again from the field. I think topics caught a huge break today that Raymond Felton -- just a tremendous game. I really picking up the offense a spark for the suspended Jared. And chair that's coming back and Carmelo Anthony are gonna shoot 33% against. -- -- -- -- Once everybody knows that. It'll be it'll be a battle I think at least recorders but I just wonder how much are gonna have a lot of work. WEEI dot com as we can find might try you can also find him on Twitter.
