Yes. We've been talking about a lot of things today on the big show. Without -- what way was begun. His holiday vacation Jack it was in the house knows Christopher price WEEI dot com talked. Baseball a little bit talk football talk hockey but it is -- Celtics Thursday. And so every Thursday we came and talked would be NEA's -- age is brought to you by Alexis. Of Watertown -- -- I don't today. They're good -- regular -- express -- on any. There are pretty well in -- -- -- for you last as a vacuum we talked to Danny about the three game losing streak in matching up with the cavaliers. And I've told you we're in San Diego. And San Diego into -- scout out there. Well I. Almost they're looking at some players start. Was here visiting my father. And less certain is that it's about 45 days off for Christmas. And some definite. As great people who -- the next who's gonna need to talk bottom McMaster that number one. Wasn't that how does that are you know there's has got to be so how does does ask you about the the losing streak that was snapped last night -- they have a losing streak Danny on the road but they gave up 100 points at least a hundred points in each of those games. What would you take away from that trip yet look at it from a foreign just doesn't look like there was anything positive take away from what did you take reform. Well I think person voluble. I watch a lot of basketball. Lot of plain and you know one thing that their credit to the French Clinton and her team it. You would get everybody's best performance each night of what some of -- I've watched other than San Antonio watts logging and so. Your standard in them. Chicago and that at -- Real ups and downs and some real thinkers and there'd -- other books looked really eager to get -- and I don't think it was just I think that we ran into. Hot shooting and some -- play. I think that there's been good signs for us periodically like by. It would not play consistent basketball or we're just having major -- in the last that's -- played really well. But. And accepting inept and run by Cleveland. At a crucial time of the game there in almost got to that and in. Last night we played well for most of the game by that stretch you know the cost has gained so. We just gotta get we gotta sort those out of seventeen and that the browns have to be limited to eight to not sitting round. And not get out of hand and we've just had too many stretches where we played really bad basketball. And I think that we will get out I elected assessments adopted last night like that -- starting lineup. -- KG a little bit they're both very Smart snappy decent players. And we should get a little bit more -- We're talking about that off the air -- when is the last time you saw a team give up a seventeen zip run. Win the game and win by double digits that. That hasn't happened to off. No I mean I mean you're playing really really well and BP. You know most teams are not that -- discriminate between which could beat our home court. Last night. Back to back or go back to we that's that we should be in. I think that. When you can't do that against Buehrle can only get upset and enough and seventeenth in round. And so I just feel like we've got to get more consistent I think that would still trying to search. In which players. I'll help each other the most which players play best with one another I mean that really years' hard. -- figure out over. A short period time some time you know even statistical evaluations so. -- themselves as worthy of evaluation. And you get thirty years to -- two games into the. Danny had Jack here your Morton a quarter of the way into the season and the theme with this team out of the gate was it's gonna take awhile it's you know there's some personal -- -- Tired couple injury situations early in the season. And you guys have got to get used to the mix. You know we we know it today Avery still on his way back. But does this team. Doesn't have a clue as to its identity at this point or is that something it's still in flux and and how urgent is it. To establish that in the next couple weeks if it hasn't been done yet. Well so. I don't think it hasn't been there is being. The complication of at all I think going into the speed in the week we did. Some amazing things last year in the second -- that he's and it's a great credit for the guys in the darkened. -- you know but I do think that it wasn't necessarily. The way that we should go forward. And yet at the heart the -- with their success I think that that's taken a little bit and figure out that maybe that's not that's -- to play is quite small. Air and -- The last night we played bigger. Part of the beneficial last night throughout many stretches of me. And I understand that we are beginning to find courage get a B but I don't think it's -- yet I'm not sure it's gonna be their two week. But regardless of that degree regardless. Whether it's the perfect rotation and or. You were missing players -- injuries though that he we've got to be more consistent and you've got to prevent those runs by other teams in those droughts. And that we had the opportunity and been given that so many may have -- on the defensive end. There's just. There's no excuse. For. The way we're playing in the mean yeah you take time to find out who we are there is no excuse to give up 32 points in the coming out against Chicago. And others no excuse to give up seventeen to nothing run. The Cleveland. Did you talk about trying to find -- balance and talk about finding an identity how do you balance. Defining they -- -- balancing minutes with the veterans with the with Paul and Kevin and in trying to meaning to those minutes. As the season goes on. Well you know that. We're not managing editor of workers trying to keep the rotation you -- played to their back you know we've found that. You know keep you place your best when he plays around that you know thirty to 34 minute mark return to keep that they're trying to keep them fresh. But that's when he -- has passed so. That's just what a lot of coaches do a lot of coaches have to do that was with all teams you've got to figure out. Problem where guys how they perform the past. And that's the that's really hard to do with fifteen players let alone all players but you should be able to do that which here top seven or eight players. It -- figured out there I was just thinking about last night. And then it goes to the point you just you gotta find whatever that and that number is maybe is 29 minutes for some guys that got 33 minutes. You know what what what amount of time can they be out there be at their best you look at Paul Pierce last night. Well I think we always one that -- created guy's legacy or figure out. Well what years -- what he was before the guys down playing. It is dangerous to say if Paul Pierce is no longer in his prime and just when you start to think that. It gives you a forty point game even at that there advanced age KG Paul Pierce. There's still capable of showing you what they showed you eight to ten years ago Arctic. -- you know I don't spell out there that you know we're not at that age and the playing in the -- that I could do what I always. You -- you can't do that you can't sustain it. The amount of minutes. Who appeared in your prime point seven you can play at a very high level or 38 minutes in the game on the average -- UP orbit. But it certainly the 35 or 36. You know he should be able to play due to some of the same things maybe 12020. Or thirty going to be level. I'm Aaron Cook as those guys are amazing I'm hearing in Blu-ray Allen and -- well in the street guys -- reason that we had some success. Those three guys around him and they're still playing at a very very high level at buried -- it. And -- -- -- there's there's very few guys that have them. Okay -- everybody knows started his career in Minnesota. Kevin -- drafted them. Really. Touching moment beautiful moment at the end of that Houston game. -- a long embrace with -- with Mikhail in and Mikhail got a very emotional what what was your. What was your take their what did you think of that that moment when great moments and sports -- -- -- Articulate equally emotional as emotional for me watching it I'm glad that it happened you know -- geek in me when he knew I was going to. -- this funeral. He came up to me to make sure that I told Kevin that he stayed there. And so I think that. Even though I don't even notebook -- -- spoken since there. Should Kevin came to Boston. -- and I don't think -- capped it with the way it came down. I just don't know if you can. Calm during their -- people have gone through so much to both two of the greatest power forwards have a pretty -- other people guys would be real big art. And you know put their lives that are made up more interest at all -- and I was very carts that they had their opportunity. And that you know I'm not sure that either one can hide the remote is simple. There it was a great moment in years edit its. Relationship even though was basketball for so many years. The relationship -- around somebody that much it is got to be more than basketball and mutual respect I can tell you. It's on the court. I'm -- have. A foundation off the court that a lot of us -- -- -- wherever connection off the court and court. I see a lot of Kevin Mikhail. In and Kevin Garnett some of the moves around the basket it's clear that they've had conversations about the game in that. And then Mikhail showed him some of his some of districts around -- I'll Kevin McHale there -- -- I think you're together you know starting. 9819. So those are very very formative years and there are. Who Kevin Garnett is today is a lot of because of what you learned in the ten years from Kevin -- What daddy and enjoy your time with the family that's important.
