Let's NFL Sunday presented by -- natural casing franks looked for the camp blue box that your favorite browser. -- celebrate something you get a radio I'm reading Heath and with the right are you try to take my script -- thought I wouldn't be able to do it. It doesn't have many times do you think I've read this thing and lots about it in north of the season here. This -- -- Reggie Bush a guy who the Miami Dolphins well apparently not bring back -- suit. Interesting piece by -- Mundo solved arrow in one in the Miami paper today they -- is going to be. 22 high price -- He's gonna say sports 68 million dollars a year makes four and a half million dollars a year this year. He's an interesting player who at times looked dazzling and at other times looks disinterested how do you guys look at -- You bush I love them on film boogie is -- I think there's a different there's a different kind of styles and ways thank -- -- -- but to me but there's so many different ways to -- the -- hole in the NFL. He's very exciting he's theory. Explosive he's a guy who recalled as a defense a player a bounce out cup bag guy. He's one of the preeminent guys. Bill election amid the sort of the analogy with with CDs door he's probably a little bit similar to that. The thing that I always think they'll wanna see which appear patriots and should concern UCL a great -- -- what they read doesn't result -- catches the ball nearly as well album he's explosive once he gets in his -- he's he's got good W not a great receiver he's got good numbers doesn't snatch a wild turkeys are great -- of the four boys amazing -- -- he has -- in his hands. But what I always seemed to think when I'm watching him on film I think. I'll -- plan running back. And and that's not a bad thing. What you all's he's you know when the deviant side traps and they -- the direct runs inside the tackles he never looked as comfortable he doesn't make it quick and decisive -- he's not nearly explosive that. He's better off tackle guy he's betters a guy that sort of the enigmatic guys just all over the place museum everywhere. What he you know he's not Peter Peterson you know he's not but not that that's a problem but -- he's a different kind of player so you're trying to make -- about how much he's worth I don't know 'cause he's tough -- -- to stop the sort of define. He's different kind of player he's not. He's not sure you know Fred Jackson obviously bodies she's just the sort of a hybrid I guess. Brokers -- for your -- you're running back Ryan. Well almost a bit after you. Although popular -- easy it's he's an actively he's one of those guys that will you wanna and you team. On the -- is. He explained too much when you say he's. You see some day as a lot of them played and anything that he's not its students and with a place because he's not an every down back. He's not had guided you can put in in. Run the ball between the tackles 34 times in a row being Comerica now he's not that type guy he's a guy that can electrified crowd would've made you run. Once or twice in a row -- come out if put him back and that's why he's so inconsistent right now because he's not -- -- That every down back -- -- upon returning yes of course what is -- return that. While playing out her -- you stand out of the crowd you know -- raised -- affairs the good made the team. Sparked a team comes out because -- -- desert began when he -- game but every down if he's not consistent doing. He's Miami's lead dog and -- -- I think Miami has fallen into -- trap but you Miami has fallen into the routine of load relying on this guy it would have been too much bottom line is right now. He is he's gonna be a pretty close to without your rusher who's gonna come away with you know. 3040 catches a year which on -- a last season he's averaged four point seven yards to care now. Going back to last point -- I don't know the the whipping as we talk about numbers we talk about stats pretty easy on paper. He looks like a guy who should command a serious contract but if you go deeper -- you look at him you you -- look beyond the numbers. He's not like he said he's not an every down back. He's not a guy who can run between the tackles on a consistent basis I think if he gets into a system. That maximizes his talents if he goes to a contender who maximizes his talents who uses him. On. Written almost every go back again to these nodding you know he's not a twenty -- when he -- I think you were there difference you have to know when to use. I think he was there. It sinks in he less. That was the perfect -- as they're Pierre Thomas there's a Metallica are there and -- situation both the perfect situation own opinions -- -- is -- yeah it's ultimately it is the money situated what you what though. He is his agent is going to be able to take his numbers I'm not seen in the film -- Critique his numbers to a team in the book the -- Taxable forty -- of the backfield if you print on special teams can do an awful lot in he's gonna take a team for a lot of money. But he's not worth it. You wanna know one of the things that in this -- talking. That I am proud of I've made money playing football what I'm proud of -- because I was able to only thirteen years in the NFL at this position. And why how they would do that was because a situation that chills to stay in to be not because the money situation is because of playing -- in future situations as forest. My longevity in two football league and that's what I say he was in the ideal situation for him as a football player you really into all instinct knew how to use him. Punt returner. Put him in -- certain situations him whenever he needed him as a kick return to put him in there that was an ideal situation. What he's he's got -- cross -- -- he can either get them like we have before you go to a team meeting get big money from a team and not really be concerned about winning for and I think that there is a market for him. There would be a market for him out there. Amongst contenders amongst the elite teams who know how to use a guy like that in those situations. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- And just thought he needed to be a lead receiver you know I mean I'm a receiver now I'm going to be a -- perceive their best now. With Brandon Marshall as that guy and him back to back complementary role. And still a great part. Returns still agree especially. There's like mama mama mama always that if they broke -- would prefer that. Or letting -- -- video bad fix it but but he is he's a flashy guy who I think. The numbers can fool a lot of people but the numbers will flow last year reporters here that I thought was probably his best year as a pro because. He actually was put a little more productive. Inconsistent Moore doing the course of the year or every doctor for a thousand yards per class -- -- -- really three catches he really impressed me with his performance because a lot of guys you know seen him play. Always the first few years and he was like while. It's not the -- was that we thought it was going to be put. Him being that guy and now Miami he had to show improvement it and it showed he worked his -- of Michigan offseason that he came in great performance before the show. Our our players are going to be happy to hear this are happy to see you go down this way but I think the patriots may have a template here where you've got three or four for reproductive similarly -- while possibly -- You can do a lot of different ways. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- And figure how do you wanna get to that numbers you wanna get to that by dividing it. You know for ways perhaps from them quarters or do you wanna. Overall and 7871. Guy's pocket multiple guys now it is not the way to get there I mean I just that's that's the reality this game.

Cleveland Indians hottest team in baseball, yet remain last in attendance May 19, 2013 By AJ Kaufman 6 Comments There’s a scene in Major League where Bob Uecker, portraying the radio voice of the Indians, bemoans, “In case you haven’t noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven’t, the Indians have managed to win a few here and there, and are threatening to climb out of the cellar.” Well, that was nearly 25 years ago and fictional, but today’s reality is that Cleveland has won 17 of its last 21, and currently tops the AL Central with a mark of 25-17. No one in the majors is better than the Indians in the past month (20-7). That’s great news. The bad news, however, is the Tribe somehow remain in the MLB cellar when it comes to attendance. How can this be? The fact that I wrote on this same topic almost to the day last year – when only Tampa Bay drew fewer fans than Cleveland - may be even more troubling. Though roughly 34,000 watched a walk-off win Friday night against Seattle, perfect weather and free caps weren’t enough to draw more than 36,000 Saturday and Sunday combined. What did the Indians do in those tilts? They nabbed another walk-off win on Saturday, then the Indians crushed the great Felix Hernandez Sunday behind Justin Masterson, arguably the AL’s best pitcher right now. Fun fact: The Indians have already faced eight Cy Young Award winners in 2013: Bartolo Colon, R.A. Dickey, Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Jake Peavy, David Price, Justin Verlander and Hernandez. They have won seven out those eight matchups. Simply astounding. This offseason, the much-maligned Indians front office finally made a legitimate attempt to improve the team through free agency. I’m not talking an Ubaldo Jimenez-like trade, but rather smart acquisitions that brought veterans Mike Aviles, Michael Bourn, Jason Giambi, Scott Kazmir, Brett Myers, Mark Reynolds, Drew Stubbs and Nick Swisher to Cleveland. In addition to being a fantastic place to watch a game due to great egress and ingress, with extremely affordable tickets, the best promo lineup anywhere, Jacobs Field boasts overall, cooler, less muggy summer weather than most Midwestern locales. The team also lowered beer and hot dog prices to $4 and $3 respectively. What other professional stadium in any sport offers that? I have visited 28 of the 30 current Major League Baseball stadia, and few top The Jake when all angles are considered. I say that as a baseball fan, not an Indians fan. As for the putative “economic” angle, these are the same people who spend insane amounts of money to watch terrible football every fall and show up in decent numbers for putrid basketball in the winter. Irrespective of season length, those sports charge up to 10 times the price for a ticket, and the atmosphere isn’t half as fan-friendly as baseball. I understand fans’ lack of willingness to get on board to some degree. A decent recap of Cleveland’s decade of “rebuilding” can be read here and the team suffered a horrific collapse last August. However, in addition to all the benefits of attending games at Jacobs (now Progressive) Field, fans should also realize the team has potential and often exceeds preseason aspirations at any point without warning. Cleveland hosts the rival Detroit Tigers — heavy favorites to repeat as AL Central champs — Tuesday and Wednesday nights before hitting the road. The temperature should be pleasant at first pitch each evening so you’d expect The Jake to be full to watch the best hitter on the planet right now — but don’t count on it.
