Meter's Farewell: Jon Meterparel announces his decision to leave WEEI

What's it like a long ninety seconds in anticipation what we said is going to happen right about now. -- is without question a bittersweet moment we are being sarcastic we -- the world that we being capable are not at all on. My childhood dream of becoming a Sports Radio personality. Came true when WEEI hired me twelve years ago. There's no way of knowing then the Dennis and Callahan Show would be the -- of a lifetime. Over a dozen years recovered some of the greatest stories in Boston sports history. And threw the ball a cattle myself as big a fan is all the loyal listeners we've had. But now it's time for me to move on from WB yeah. My goal when I came here was to become an important part of the show and I think I've achieved that but I also -- more play by play. Full time put my play has always been my number one goal and I think it's time to make it happen. I leave with the greatest thanks and respect for everyone at WB EI and have -- everyone everyone. And I truly appreciate their support. Through this process from the heart yeah sight on why everyone.
