John Henry says the Red Sox are not for sale

She makes sense to me all of -- can happen or not. Mean it makes -- senses a good time to salvage a shed a quarter billion dollars a payroll. Off the Ross that's not what he did it is a good baseball move when you look at a three -- perspectives -- well geez you know. 250 million bucks plus there was the day before that. Our -- given Liverpool investment understood all that and in the Fox Business story basically validated those thoughts and said -- is this this in this. -- reported -- other time maybe they're looking to move right now that just began to dip their toll that. We went on to fifteen minutes with with those guys them okay typical rambling attempt to note he analyst. Jeff -- and heard the story you'll strange but a good spot. John Henry was so arrangement that. You know each accident or can't get -- Texan intimated to -- -- -- producers again John succumb. Or John Henry came on to a you have John Henry on you have the guy on before says it may be looking to sell the team. The first question you -- actually asked him John Henry is he selling the team. This -- -- is that a good thing this franchise. Given how bad they've been in the last calendar year up poorly they've handled things you wanna see John Henry. Sell the Boston -- You wanna see. I'm podcast or whoever spent one point six billion dollars or one point seven billion dollars in take over the Red Sox. My answer is I would not right now at this point I understand it's been shaky in the last year. These guys have a history spending money. If it dipped significantly here next year to. If they don't go back up to 15160. You know and market back up 21 I'd be fine -- not to 14150. Did -- start you know be concerned if they continue. They handle things we've handled things here last year. You can be concerned that they give them credit for 789 good years. Given a pass for bad year and say I still want these guys running this franchise. The W now. I really deal. I understand people are down these guys right now I get that. Mean you -- that looking sub team you always think best case while some days are coming here do the things that these guys have done incorrectly correctly. At the highest levels of the Red Sox because. Does that mean you blame Terry Francona for last year because he wasn't back because you pick up its options but you don't blame Bobby Valentine this year. I mean you know the common thought is that Terry Francona lost the team should have been brought back. I just don't know if I believe that. You know I just don't know if I believe that. I think the -- such a reevaluated. Taking a pause cleaned out the launch -- -- be brought Terry Francona back here that this year this past year. I go to okay. I think -- have been OK now this team up in the playoffs. But the world would -- banded we have in this bad if Terry Francona managing this baseball team. Out on the field and off the field Bobby Valentine hit one bad month. One bad month they won ninety games this team is going to lose overnight. You go about my -- is the worst team ever. Now some it is a good job with this team they probably would eighty games 84 game how much anyway a hundred games.
