Play by play next year. You know -- I you don't want it Bob Wilson. That's where that -- first started and you know I wish I had his pipes but you know he was one of the all time all time -- and certainly most inspirational economy. I let's talk about the series so far for the Bruins. And we are talking about it earlier. I think that there are moments where they played great. And other moments where they almost seemed to take time off whether or not engaged. In to what's going on their Jack do you see that. It seems. There are extra careful and there are certain guys on the ice and those certain guys have expanded from just the subset of Alex Ovechkin to. Alex Ovechkin and -- -- Lidstrom and Marcus Johansson and sometimes -- like. It's something you have to respect against Washington especially when they play the -- adult style that they play the caps especially well they can get a lead this habit. Sort of billing a hardened bunker around -- -- and if they get ahead any game. They can just try to they can attempt to shut it down and you know it doesn't always work but I. I think that that that extra caution. Against getting caught in an odd man rush against you war giving up early goal were giving up a goal in a tight situation. Probably compromises the Bruins flow a little bit and you know full marks to Washington are two teams playing here in the -- is expected to repeat. Forces saying this. Do you think the Bruins saw this coming from Washington and a lot of commentators and and London's. Didn't Bruins in five Bruins in six something many people had a seven game series about the Bruins what do you think. Well I had the Bruins in six in this series and the reason I haven't sexist is that thought they'd do better on the they have they don't want into a TD garden is not exactly -- Bunker just about. Washington is a tough team most people thought that either goaltending or structure or both were going to breakdown. But the cap structure -- been sensational they have come out from game one when they have the Bruins playing the way they want it the caps wanted to play. Pretty odd man rushes of the Bruins had. You know let's say in game winner in overtime was -- the anomaly. It's not like you know how many open chances as the Bruins forward had against break all the Deke him. To wait and then he goes down that fire toward the -- In -- that it does brought odd man rushes in this series you could count on all hands and they played six games sold. -- against full marks to the caps for that I don't think many people saw Washington keeping that kind of structural integrity and getting the goal keeping. For this many games but they have that's hockey that's the way -- at the Vancouver Canucks as they expected Jonathan Quick it is good to see what they're done. Reaching for the -- to analysts. He's been great talking about goaltending Tim Thomas. Thought he could Jack but is he -- at that level we saw last year during the playoffs. Not even close and that's not to say he's been bad he just hasn't been the superstar. That he was during the playoffs last year. Let's not forget Vancouver led the National Hockey League in goals scored last year the Vancouver was. If you -- is like secretary at running the negative split to win the Kentucky Derby right. There was seven games in the first round six games in the second round five games in the third round and everybody was thinking OK they're gonna make it or in the Stanley Cup final against the brawl incidents and Thomas against that team help of the eight goals in seven games. Never gonna happen again and that's not happening this year. He has let in some sought goal he's not the kind of guy patrol itself under the wheels of the bus and say I should've had that one I I haven't heard him say that yet. And I don't think we're ever gonna hear sick is not in his personality to do it. Everybody knows that the other goals that keep probably stopped last year and that he -- goalies get 99.9. Percent of the time. All the really matters is that Thomas is totally focused and stands on its head when he asked you on Wednesday night at the garden that's the -- important things -- right -- not been. Above everybody else going that he was play. In -- made some great saves in the series on the other hand via the Troy Broward goal in game five on Saturday. He stops that a year ago the Knuble goal he stops that a year ago. It to me he's he's letting some in that you just would never seen them -- a year ago it's not to say. That he's not making some great saves in keeping them at times in late in the game. But there's some soft stuff that you sit there and say thank god we saw lashed you would never done. Yeah Alex noble goal sort of reminded me about. What what Tampa they kept doing. Which was patrolled pluck out the goal or even behind the goal and go weak side on him because. -- is such an aggressive goaltender he comes off his line sole hard to control the shooter that. By necessity by breaking that angle down if you can get off that angle you're gonna have an open side of the goal I we saw out of all score a goal against the Bruins. At TD garden it was I don't know what it felt like it was about a buck fifteen into the game -- in in playoff game I think it was game five last year. In the Eastern Conference final but that was what the Knuble goals like for me. You know the backs from goal in overtime the the Broward goal there was so you know wide of the dot currently does seem that way. Those are the ones that are older more bothered some but. Stuff happens in hockey it's a weird game there's a high degree of chaos and typically loses track of the corporate that the the second can make the difference in the series in the -- and so -- That's or down to you know I've already gone through two portable. Well how can I ask you about not that there -- -- but. Ask you about game seven is there any reason we should believe that game seven will be any different from what we've seen in these first six another. Overtime game another one goal game is that what you expect in -- seven. Well let's dial it back the last game seven liberal and played and they had had a heck of a time scoring goals in Vancouver. And they want the game 401 it was an empty netter but. You know still even 30 I think would have been a surprise to most people. The brought to play very structured defense Washington -- try to play very structured defense. The track record of most seventh games -- teams that are. -- this way is that they're very conservative in the first few -- nobody wants to get caught making the first mistake or any mistake for that matter. Maybe we get as lucky as -- -- they Eastern Conference final seven game war there were no penalties called -- the players decided. And it was just an unbelievable hockey game both goalies stood on their heads. But Indian you don't the more game -- we see Michael -- and it seems to me that they are almost random event that they are. They give five predictability. They go to the extreme that. So thing is gonna happen that you never seen before and that might be subtle -- it might be massive. But. One of my favorite song lyrics is be prepared to be surprised and that's who we got four on -- Wednesday night. I'm not sure though it's going to be any different there was seem to the first six games they're all one goal games. Which had numerous overtime games and for 28 seconds and only 28 seconds one of these teams in this case with the caps. Had a two goal lead for -- second -- Yeah unbelievable. You're you're absolutely right not what history tells us but if it's gotta be that way -- -- -- And that's tyrant and used -- -- they built like Bruce first you know -- control two hitter or he could you know. Give up seven runs and still waiting you'd documented dressing stall after -- is there well that's baseball but at the. I -- -- artist by the way be prepared to be surprised. You know it you'll remember your member of the film Dan in real life which took place in Rhode islanders is Steve Carell full. Olympic. Composer this contract guy named -- trailer -- Norwegian dep spokesman. We've terrific it's our fifth in a couple months in Northampton Massachusetts and not. That's that's his song alert be prepared to be surprised. Welcome welcome -- -- you're gonna be here in studio Wednesday before game seven from three to five CNN. You betcha gonna go fly by tomorrow -- stop it for ten. Let's stop and are currently thanks to our Jackson jacket. The surprise rejection to Norwegian folk. If I if you would tell me what what the genre of music that Jack would be into what you meant Norwegian folk music up on the board of selective.
