That's a very good point by you pay debt doo -- Do people put together a project like this get nervous as if that's the delivery of a baby on the eve of this thing premiering tomorrow. I'm -- yeah it's -- racking definitely do -- well. Probably more nerve wracking than any of them because there was you know there was so much at stake here at tackling the stooges and. This was a labor of love I mean a long labor blob aside aside how funny I thought the film was -- sought Tuesday night I think another good positive thing out of this is. You don't have to ever answer the question again is still winning Mueller Bobby get a finished just don't just project. Yeah yeah exactly no wind it was there was what looked to me you know people don't want to recognize our patrol here -- -- are too because you know this -- you wouldn't give us money until. -- became opinions that they got and I can't independently these characters or seven years old and in years old woman to present day situation -- -- -- -- you know boom boom and -- them probably believe it's them about the of that so that. It was a -- -- level. The first question Peter is always you know and these guys beat the stooges -- they remind us of the stooges and they do it brilliantly. All three of them. -- just amazing I think people all agree that they are they are the stooges but the second question is always. How does is play across America we know half the population doesn't like to stooges I mean most women don't like the stooges. Are you worried that even if it's great even if the critics love and even of John and -- love it. That not enough Americans will will be on board. I -- and he helped somewhat like him but thought well let me address the question. The first time I don't know that this movie was working in this together it's true to what I screamed screamed at that women as a reaction. I -- when you go after data showed it to you and you don't have to collect -- to -- they can that this is starting to come. It either we were fake and it. I'm -- But you know it's like any movie if it's not just whether you like Linda are you know it's not believe it will want to play and you'll huge. -- the problem that one reason a lot of people didn't like particularly women didn't like you'll stooges who -- the rain came and actual match and they had no -- -- just -- hit hit hit hit and -- have the time -- the money to start you know building a little story due course but we do. It was good -- had a five minutes long. -- -- beginning middle and now we have a a back story we have hard we have worked. Happy ending -- -- -- good thing I'm most proud of with his movies from the moment the restarts into movies and sit there with a with a you know big smile on your efforts. Up Peter jury was kidding when he said we were faking it in the trailer down in Atlanta because we both were a blown away by how much they've looked and sounded as their mannerisms were like the original stooges. But also some of the modern day sequences in situations in which you placed them so I went into this premiere Tuesday night. With these really really high expectations hadn't seen maybe. I would say 10% of the movie in in your trailer and they were exceeded by what I saw my I was crying laughing started crying for most of the 85 minutes so whatever you did between Atlanta and now in this thing being released you ramp that up another five or six notches. Pressure on us on this movie than any movie because from the very beginning we -- -- student there was sort of rhetoric that there was a large group out there. Stooge and addicts who were saying you know both boots that religion it's long been -- And we know a lot of people were thinking this was a bad idea but mentally we didn't because. Can't today -- don't know the students have their kids do not know -- been given to us a little when you guys. And -- one -- the -- we want to bring him back and want to legacy you go on for future generations let's go to the truth so. We know our heart and doing it for the right reason to look good today and and that's what we did it. Some of the I believe some of the earlier cast members were going to be Benicio del Toro and Sean Penn. Would this thing of one have -- been made as easily as it was about suggesting it it came off easily and do you think it would have been a successful. If Betty TO del Toro and Sean Penn were to the prince -- they have let us hang around the set -- yeah. Good question I was kidding about the payday. It's nothing for the movie that truth we didn't move from doing minimum because. The studio so I understand you're about to -- Lisa look at. We don't think enough that we want to make movies and that's the truth we -- -- we have a good backhand but. Make money doing this from doing it was real well tell him. -- have then. It was a lot of -- to do with those guys but this meant we went to them. The reactors. Of them but also. It could look at next -- we'll do at some point it said that she -- let these guys. Had Kate Upton -- -- under the cover of a nun's habit for the first 84 minutes of the film. Comes out on the final scene in the film wearing a bikini that's about the size of a shoestring. I was so disappointed that it wasn't in the final cut Peter what's up at that where it's connected to eight -- -- Okay well first of all week -- that we took that team go kicking and screaming. And the commentary on our heart and in our country and NB AMP because. -- -- it's taken -- -- getting out of abandoned I was swimming pool inability suit we had to cut that scene up and yet. Not mentioned when we have a closer -- -- a little lines. -- his opinion. Now I even mentioned that reflected in our country. -- to as far as yeah. And show will -- body. I think you play and you think it's like no I don't accuse you condemn it but I can't the good old -- and more. Hope who in your opinion Peter was the best huge. I mean -- off your stooges these three you yeah. The guys that are true. I know I'm not dodging that question I had food in the beginning. That we have two spectacular student and one not so good do you like. Great well you know it -- -- lose the you know I know stock that would ruby got so bad guys into the movie we didn't have that. -- command -- actually -- the toughest job. Was Larry Charlie. And I'm going to consult and work with Sean Hayes and mailed it but I thought that was the toughest jobs so I'd I'd have to give him no one that I thought would. We can lead to one it was gonna be out. Did you guys show them teach them all the mannerisms or did they come in fully prepared I mean especially. Curly and I am obviously a big curly fan like everybody else this guy -- is much bigger much taller than that we'll sell some much bigger and taller than. And Jerome Horowitz but it is brilliant how he managed is to capture all the little things all the nuances. It's sensational will have to do an unbelievable job and and at first I was concerned about is could you must receive huge meat. Sometimes we'll put four point -- -- it's just hanging out and but he's gonna shoot that good under three according you know who's. A huge meant. And I was concerned that that he was too big news here -- was 54 and by. It's sort of worked up because you don't wanna take most of the hits and he's so big you don't worry about a beauty two months -- You can't -- -- it's better than the other way around it if you know we couldn't do that with a with a huge moment for instance. Was this physically demanding it's certainly appears to be on these three guys I know what they fell off the roof and into the awning and all that sort of stuff their stunt doubles and other things that you can do. But just in terms of what they had to do and do you know on ten separate takes it seems to me that this was pretty demanding. Yup got it because also we -- low tech guys we don't. We know like -- don't like -- big joke of the fallen in hidden in doing that we make it happen right like. That all falls off that route that's a powerful locker room under the guise as we could figure out how to do it without hurting the guy yeah. It's actually hit and also. Because this -- Played most of the machines in the master and improved by the wide shot we wish you all -- at the same time from head to two -- total. And so that you can -- really didn't start and then had to do what all you -- you would never win one of home. The other two predictably -- -- and only had to be doing it and also because of his tell you got the tough job. I mean we've never done a sequel we've got -- opportunities you'd want to do something else about Mary and other things like that. Didn't seem natural the money grab it's not a natural thing to do a sequel to Mary -- and usually dumbed down and up exactly where they left off. And and you can just gonna I can do have these boot camp that wanted to until about ten years ago he was you know hotel.
