Think guys. Do you think spring training is too long had a lot of guys -- and after six weeks give me out here -- me out of I was ready. Two or three weeks ago how to you view it.

You know what I actually think it's perfect I'm -- without -- guy the more AB's I get the more comfortable I get up there. You know later in the year if not throughout the season I -- It doesn't matter I mean I'm going to be better you heard about I haven't heard about the same thing at 600 about during the season and then 300 so the more about second game. You know the better off I'm going to be courtesies and calm in also. -- that bother them much I mean those are a lot of the -- that -- was stopped at the beginning yet secure a right and get on the same page early. Different is -- how do you treated and what pace do you have do you look at. At the at the period of time during spring training and course you're you're dealing with -- different pitchers -- coming in at different times in the game than they normally award. In a regular game so it's really not a game condition do you treat.

I'm in the first part target when you step and there are any -- our own guys that would cater on -- part that call. But the first you know my first game about that stuff and I think it just like I do the regular season. You know the the difference is I'm on I'm just not ready yet you know my timing off. Are you trying to trying to find the sweet spot of the barrel and and now you know you're you're -- yourself against the get back into it after having 34 months off so. It up our stuff but on the more reps you get the more backseat is more comfortable you are. And the more you know breaking ball see your changeup that stuff like that the more your body starts adjusting to the dispute in the -- all excited to go out there and I can't wait.

You know it's funny you talk about the offseason program and you getting ready and being in great shape to have to start spring training wasn't that long ago in -- 2030 years ago. When you guys which show for the first spring training and be like forty pounds overweight. And you know you wonder what the hell they did. -- season could you ever imagine try to be ready for opening day if you showed up you know bloated twenty pounds overweight and the first day of spring training.

Yeah I mean he'll be up. -- mean you'd you know I. I'm not in great shape right now but I mean everyone else says he can't he can't train yourself for that turn him -- a lot of standing -- a lot of you know doing things that you're not used to over remark and -- worked out probably more than anybody in and still I'll be sort the first couple days because you're just doing movements that you know you don't normally do training in and doing your your your conditioning speed stuff from. You know that based on movement -- chase the ball in -- look at it your your body's just trying to get that ball and it'll do anything to get itself. It was a little mock LB sore but I couldn't matches on out. You know twenty pounds overweight haven't worked out -- out -- to get in the -- condition. --

Nate Robinson. I do I want what do you do with. It a platoon situation at shortstop how different is is they're two different guys. They have. Different skill set defensively. How does that. How does that. Work in your game every single day when you might have a different guy playing at shortstop.

I think it is just being with them more. Both got more -- you know we're gonna pick go out how to ground ball this spring training it's our reps in and I got to be used to go to both guys and it's it's going to be a challenge for me it's a -- out there that I mean it's going to be -- in notable gonna get used to each other and you know we're gonna make sure up the middle where it will where the best we can be so. And at -- a lot of -- and we're we're definitely going to put the time so long and because.

You set goals for yourself at the beginning of the season when you sit around here in the last few days before you take off you have in your mind what. You wanna do this year. Yeah.

I mean our -- alone I turn on sports center to see. The Boston Red Sox you know be in the front highlight you know they have a championship team and they do their thing I want I want I want to -- me well I'll go -- So that that that that was my goal it's the won the World Series and you know we we we can definitely. We -- the talent and the mindset to do that so we got to go out there and not stay healthy and play the game recollect.
