Coming off that loss earlier in the week to the Celtics. What does that say about the coach and I think -- gun he's a pretty good coach -- we don't respect for standing -- How do you lose that consumed -- you -- off seventeen.

Go to the fourth quarter -- new school eight points. But the effort from the Celtics need an awesome. Also this is one of those things that you're you know other rendered me and it was the -- chip chip or not that's a proud moment assault extras and watched that game. It is really an advocate Paul Pierce. In the first half so for five shooting only get five free throws but he was he was offered those guys they got tired legs -- all of a sudden. In the tired legs anymore. As scored nineteen points. Seven to thirteen the second half. You got no big man writes -- house Dwight Howard that was one of the better defensive games I've seen from Kevin Garnett. In a long long time public elevate -- that blocked shot great play. A couple of better defensive effort from not just Garnett but the tiger team go everyone in that second half the kind of felt like in the player Rondo wasn't there Allen wasn't there O'Neal was part. What you got the feeling was 2008 mean that was the defensive effort in the final 24 minutes you wanna sit and will bag on Orlando that's a bad effort the second half there. But defensively. How many times of the magic have to wait until about six seconds left and they -- Set their offense there was a portly -- game but they were. They're up five whatever it was Turkoglu had the ball -- ten seconds to -- clear out because Brandon Bass was on huge Clara. -- and do anything. He -- could do anything. It was it was it was like. He couldn't do everything. Turco ended up firing up a shot with that once that beaten any disfigured to it was a political right by this guy quicker than him a ticket to the basket it would get shot up. You -- makes based -- and he'll let him you don't get by him at all. Is unbelievable effort in the Katy to want more. Or mean it goes for it most reporters like double -- 76 all went up getting the ball on the -- buries its 7976. Take their first league forever that's.

You -- this -- free throws and now. Applause for dramatic effect the Celtics need to take the lead with 749 to go. Marquis -- against JJ Redick launch making up more definite deliberate. Acts.

Well -- got a little and then another one of us who couldn't use the.

They'd already point to turn around for the Celtics not not Stan Van Gundy and these Obama wrote.

Or maxim that you serious in -- some feel like are you. Crap Nate Wright is now Minnesota Republican was a -- who say they're that was the kick that ball well man. -- today with him it's that the one -- to this Paper Bradley by the way it was awful. Use the polar opposite of his -- and I -- early -- I don't play that question again last Jack -- earlier in the week is this the -- were Avery Bradley takes a step for you -- a major step back barely give me early on -- in the picture we -- some astronomical pointed at the -- But here's the thing when. You have injuries. This team did especially and in this situation is the point guard position metallic or John Rondo goes down and when you look at the pre season when you look at the condensed schedule. -- injury like Rondo. And a guy like Avery Bradley steps up in the city -- he's young players so it's gonna have nights like this is -- buddies out there against Orlando rates to prevent great defender. Offense -- Cumberland but still. You've given him playing playing time you can have some confidence. I can defend anybody right as far as back -- John Rondo and what more comes into the picture as he struggles. And he gets some playing time he probably wouldn't -- Right it is great for -- with clay and this does not in the game. There's no pre season for these guys to what they're competing show they're likely although there's different street practice players and real game players and some guys show up some guys don't. The fact that Rondo was down. Given these guys some opportunity to -- And play when -- comes back make a back to the bench you've gained some confidence I played in this league can score in this league can defend in this league. And all of a sudden. The Celtics were runner comes back at depth at the point guard. Which is something that you questioned the ball those guys and -- door goes down so but still you talk about the depth now you have a deposition. In the experience of good young kids because of injuries injuries in the beginning years lungs in -- season ending. Usually good for teams in the long run. It's guys come out and they step up and go back to the bench they have culprits now that they're contributing. And you felt confident in them if something happened again a very -- this -- won't play. He was outstanding last night.

I also think that if you look back at the track record of Doc Rivers this is a coach who was a tremendous coach but he has a real tight rein on those -- he doesn't give those guys. A lot of time into his credit. Not make you our New York minute to -- the plate is can they drafted in the first enact a play. Just because. And people think you should play you're gonna -- New -- time -- it's going to be on the defensive end. -- Now I get a chance to get the rookie in there get him some time in a system that. And dot doesn't play a lot of young guys I think it's great because now I get him into the mix with the other guys down who knows -- Rondo Allen. -- you mentioned him last night just to add that in and for -- and out of his comfort zone and half the player rookie when it based on Andrea performance. -- it's a good thing of yourself expects that gives you an opportunity it gives him an opportunity. To our and that respect from doc and get more playing time and hit that 376. All. -- a little bit onions from this kid. And -- gonna play twenty minutes tonight. But it's nice to learn that now this point nine -- And the best a -- and is that guy but now did you stick around for the TNT post game. We think it was a pretty big game last night I was a big win -- that we like great first thing wanna talk about today's Boston's so. Joey does a pretty big win last night for the so you're right huge huge win. What Kevin Garnett thing. About the Celtics win last night when he joined Cragg a Sager of TNT in the post.

Boston College but perhaps the most impressive you know while they're counting -- 800 down 27 -- library of frightened the hell out of those don't come out and start with a qualified for -- the ball flight. -- policy visible. This one wasn't. We -- second and of course at the -- a lot of energy also and hope the super fun office came off a production to a review ordered. Rivers we heard him say no -- didn't know there are wondering hey guys it's not over yet we do -- get back into this game if you believe that that's an absolutely. There's a big Boston doctors and it's only done it wasn't true. Homers and I was in the finals once I was -- was -- what do we wasn't until we come back and I believe it and we did so tonight was no different. -- this is his 56 points on Monday but it seems like. Talking to you and talking it -- in the way you're celebrating this game that this -- means even more so demonized you know you're down you fight back you know you've -- reason to. To deprive yourself and that's what this -- emphasis on to win a tournament.

Bar fight. Bar fight GD bar fight over and over there at the beginning Sager is on TV and -- scream and bar fight he was all sorts fired up. And they go on the road they're down 27 against Eastern Conference opponent come back and win this point this season. This is there. Identity games so far they've played fewer than twenty gains but this is the identity -- what was there identity up until this point apple. With this team get Danny was they beat bad teams. They lose to good teams this was on the road against the team you had held the 56 on Monday they got revenge in their sites they like -- in the first half. You hold on to 25 in the second half and for the first time in 20112012. You have a signature game. The Boston Celtics.

Yang used that that's a game you really feel good about -- opportunity through the Celtics did Doc Rivers. And that's the thing that is the stock ranking -- dimensional on their halftime this you know second after one lay down you have to give any pride at all. Paul Pierce Kevin Garnett. I mean -- heart and soul which it Rondo drives this team isn't Kevin Garnett heart sold to game he played. I say again I think -- one of the better games I've seen a play a long time defensively and offensively you know all points. You know ten rebounds two offensive rebounds I just thought he was -- everywhere. He was outstanding. Did that that's that's an amazing amazing win. Any season didn't put this season. Went with the condensed schedule knowing you're gonna play Indiana. Ducks that he thought let's let's let's get this third quarter run that she uptight we can't get this thing. Note the other side whether -- wanna make a run at this thing here or follow wanna try to win tomorrow's game and that's the reality here and up by the try to win every game well. They're below Smart and now when they plug in five games so lifespan you got to know any written out there Paul Pierce give you 44 minutes. -- And it was amazing. Eight points in the fourth quarter and two for seventeen Olindo. But I did it was a it was a moment there in the fourth quarter promote a minute where the ref -- who they worry what they were doing. That when Ryan Anderson at the technical file Kiki get bumped by best forward and got to the --

I thought Pollard did give it give file back to back these there yeah I thought our big huge file that come back down on the court. The ref didn't have the balls to call it blocking on Ryan Anderson is right right after the technical actually before the technical. Is right Edison was double a ball pierced it at all. No -- didn't have the balls the call a block because dude knows what the hell would have happened was that -- estimated thirty seconds that Michael Smith nick. Blocker or David Joseph I on a well or was -- our NBA officially got happen does it -- it and -- it. There's no way this guy is get a call block right now and Anderson at the -- from him quite get it to eat together in the court. They lost -- controlled -- game for both 45 set out with a kick that ball I'd agree that was a big win last your ethnic.

We see you know what and -- we're gonna get yourself that phone calls here in this first soured as the patriots Friday all the football with the Celtics win big enough -- Celtic fan. Does it curb your blow it up chance this last night -- short -- The last night change your take as to what approached Danny -- should take to this team in 2012. Would jump in of that in ninety's.

The Boston College -- perhaps the most impressive for a while so they're down to one of 500 down 27 the flight flight readiness will qualify you tonight with the ball I remember.

So much live and -- 37 WEEI. Patriots try to get all the football. Coming up Steve Yost he'll join us at 11 o'clock -- Patrick Chung Peter King. All part of the program we start with the Celtics and the miraculous comeback -- we'll get to your phone calls on the Celtics as well. Did the effort last night.

The signature win of the season to date for the Celtics. Should it will change the approach Danny Ainge has towards this knowledge to make him proud of his team. It shouldn't change it one game should not change. It is all of a sudden before that game meeting like that so the chance to win a championship. Now you do. Proud as hell that team is no question at that effort. Everything that they do this year as far as big gulp of the unit have that same opinion. You watching some some greats. Who are gonna do everything they can and him because of pride. Maybe gold may be a little further than they should. But it did daddy -- you still have to take that emotion out of an ethic that he obviously is a man that that deals that way. He keeps saying.

Keep reference into the red are back congress -- the eighties. Wear -- tells me could -- Larry birdie could have dealt -- got back chuck person herb Williams. Left strapped. -- says I told -- what are you waiting for so occasion idea of where Danny feels about all of this. And I agree with you last night was a great win for the Boston Celtics. -- Danny has an opportunity. In his mind to trade one of these pieces to get younger and look forward. I still be I think I'd be OK with that he's just a Celtic fan who loved loved that comeback win last just the faculty would say so.

Like that while still on the team to read -- to discuss the GM and -- mountain. Is there aren't too many players athletes that are currently on eighteen right now. That would sit there and say that they'll have they'll be able to think like that right because -- had relationships with the with you know with with Larry Bird and and Max and and McHale -- parish in those guys that paid big. It's a tough battles are the lakers winning championships so. For him to even think like that yet in my good friends but -- Marty thick elected GM a peek at them all you need to make it. That tells -- some back then that there's no question he was picked for this type of job and and I still think that yes to approached the same way. Not saying that he will because that a deal might not be out there for him to make it make sense he might sentencing don't want. In looking at deals like and make it just doesn't make sense. Long term short term period so let's run this thing -- let's see what happens. -- we had a small piece maybe it's the difference. It all comes down to what's available doesn't it all comes down to give any reasons why to meet good reason why do you -- Kevin Love fine. But you know in victory sent the yield and Minnesota looks like so he's off the charts he immediately make it makes sense fine but much others can I give. Are gonna give you a couple of those coming up Chris -- does that.
