I speculative action shortly Steve Deossie is -- As well and as we did all of last season and it was terrific. We've got an NFL it's early in MLB and Saturn again it knows just. But the you don't know they'll lock broke down pre conference. Now currently. Have a -- so wrong so we had a guy nationally that knows everything and could fill in all the blanks when. You go blind users have done about our body secure OG from out of buildup to effectively wrote -- -- with -- morals that take you about style it's too but it's great to have you what you think and again and I don't know if -- heard this. But Fred actually say Brady's like yesterday. Because what up what happened as -- it's not going around nationally but locally we've been able to ferret out the story. But apparently when contact was made with the other vehicle. Fred jumped into the front seat acted like an Arabic in front operating profit -- -- -- that windshield was you were enough for coal. Miners are no shirt with the -- talk. After a drag this thing. This story I guess it's amazing of the story though Vick is playing. Nationally in this guy this guy that get to the decent guy he says some moderate but this is something you won't. Amid this guy's got how many violations at. Public enemy number ones seven pages of populations. Yet if you if you weren't already just in trouble with society he's he's really in trouble now because he he just about messed up that the patriots -- -- you don't do that would. Any level yesterday were all walking on an egg shells could use some -- or other cars you gotta be careful. Route to elect its the gloves come off so let's just cut offs is. What she'd fallen behind 00 what has he been doing behind at altitudes that's news. Is that what the fifth to 24 hours a Cambridge by the way -- another question why is Tom live. There in the way of America here because in fact it is talking about very I'm going. It's a cool place to live on -- the suburbs of that's not typical that's not typical patriot players there's there's a few -- about one of two were routed through thick. That those townhouses in the back bagel for about six point five point five square mile or so of those guys it most of those guys can't necessarily. He likes the commute he -- reverse -- -- -- 35 minutes he's gone the opposite of graphics it's -- -- -- -- goes super fast cars so it's it's. Been dozens -- sounds both of your your -- he's signaling more you know one would we wouldn't in the city. -- so so I just look at your predictions today. -- over the -- -- he's one of -- one of those guys who likes the estimates that he likes the jets in the NFC east. Jessica do you think that the hard knocks affects them in anyway. And it affects them in no way whatsoever. It made it. Made for bird entertaining television most I think most entertaining of semen on heart rate -- that can you believe this Rex Ryan has language like that -- -- can't believe that. As a -- well all you were. I know I know you've been around so I'm sure I've been appalled let's. Now he's potty mouth watchman at this thing but now it him -- rob Ryan together for like you know show -- them all goes through. But but here's the thing saying that the show just. Did it really did nothing to me it does nothing to affect the football football party is a lot now and they should be expected to do as well as a lot of us are expecting them do. Even though they're there greatest shortcoming I think. Is in a place where. Where other teams like the patriots like the colts have tremendous strength and talk and quarterback if if if hard knocks it anything. And out of all of the data for the jets but those of us looking outside and I think it was revealing. About the the communication. Between our relationship between quarterback and his coach pop up the episode where he's sitting in that meeting room. Steering in his duffel bags while as quarterback coach is trying to give him some real. Knute Rockne pep talk moment you know it's like it's like you know you you if you practice today that pick yourself up. You've got to look at me you're probably any like books of for a second look spec on the duffel bags playing with a super an awful but you can but that's just into us. -- he looks like a guy who is just. Now in in any way embracing if if you take that if you take the audio from the clips and stuff from the -- There's no command here there's no sense that this guy owns anything your quarterback. Owns the position don't you just though don't you get the feeling that brought Mark Brunell in there. Because -- can't. Throw much right now so he's not meet the money. You ready and I wanna but but -- Brunell is a guy you could see the difference of the two -- now very organized very together you know experienced veteran that. The deal was brought somebody like that in here. Because Sanchez needs he needs the maturities to grow up if you listens to on if you listens to him -- right I I think the dynamic is good I think the presence of Bruno is pretty good for now. Was good influence -- not that Drew Brees needed that has Drew Brees like. Brady like my Cuba stupid thing Manning -- to some extent but mostly -- Are sort of there the self starter guys who who have their stuff together. In a way that they don't necessarily need to account with them guidance Sanchez does and as I said -- I spent some time with the saints last year as there on the role. And talk specifically about that with Brunell and what reason would Sean Payton and I got the sense that there was at least from last year whatever was the -- valued. Don't to look at that situation with with Sanchez having a difficult time maturing and taken the next step in being more business like. Is something that streams from the head coach because that was what I thought vote Rex Ryan last year. Obviously he's a good motivate or he gets his message across is a tremendous defense of coach but he's tremendously disorganized and that was Pete Carroll's downfall here in New England. He was epic we disorganized. And I think that if you ever quarterback we -- -- yes he's got a full. Belichick said it today below pre we think the same way we operate the same way. If you have a guy like and that's why am not a buyer with the jets. Yeah well here's the thing and again if you if you put -- stock in the idea that they can't be. -- way everything's there because of that fine I'm not I think it's a flaw but I think there's enough streak and other places to allow them to overcome but I love your point here. It's about the developer of quarterbacks some coaches. Our greatest -- and some stink and and I do think. Our question whether Rex would ever be good that he's he has his strong points and harmony. Deal with the defense side deal with. I think of the frame of mind that all sides of the ball take it turns out despite. None of that equates to the finer points technical points of view with a quarterback there was -- a lot of it on on Brian Schottenheimer right well it's supposed to be shot on average job to do it -- Rex is. Big time this sort of a -- He's come party. Every -- us from his dad there's a -- compartmentalized. Thinking. That remember a party with the barriers as -- party line was concerned. The offense could have all got an epic boss and -- over clerk benchmarking and -- he would have been fine until I won a championship I extend his first US concern. They still would of won a championship -- -- was concerned. What Mike Ditka and -- Jim McMahon and in that you know I walked to pay all those guys brought to the team. He it was -- -- is QB Dan Hampton giving Mike Singletary will line up it will be your best the matter of when you put out there he wanted to defense on the field all the time. So Rex grew up in this environment and Rex I'm not entirely sure that -- many respects the the quarterback position even -- I as a head coach he's got his future is connected to sources so jets' defense. And off like the bears were an 85 brutal or ravens were well to have taken to a temperature I mean Rex is telling you that now. -- says we're gonna win the Super Bowl what he's saying is our defense is gonna win it for what he's -- he's -- it's it's the defense of smack talked. And and are they -- -- -- -- is is -- that kind of defense might meet guys they -- looked. With what they've done if we assume Darrelle Revis it will will be it's that the rust comes off sooner rather than later whatever. From Marty -- -- Mark Martin the other side. And you look bad and Chris Jenkins being healthy up runs. I like I like -- a widget let's put this. Everybody in in in your listening area pentagon who care about patriots. They worried about now why aren't they sleep at night they -- wringing their hands apply where fans are very concerned -- do very negative rate because they they look at that secondary Bryant their and their. -- they and they have to be and they should be. You look at the jets' secondary what's there to be panicked about it's got exactly what you'd need. To play the kind of defense you can you -- pretty much do anything defensively you wanna do when you concede realistic that Marty take back you -- -- Leonard in the middle who bruised. You can't say that with any confidence at all in in new England and then other secondary but of particular in the division at them side by side that's a comparison. How much it might prevent you from going deep in in the last one thing that's what I think is getting. A little overblown here is people think they're going to be seven win team -- went to I think when it. That report the patriot poker when you have a quarterback like Tom brings up that Friday. I know -- he's got a big twelve which as well as you know wedeman thank you know. It usually fifteen to six. As a -- your thought process and wait till prejudiced extensions and I are often seen FL dot com yet and found out that you're coming in this weekend for this game right. Does he know you mean you don't of the patriots in the post season this year. That you -- season opened to -- You're gonna tell. -- does -- make -- my -- -- miserable -- you don't need to understand you do whatever period increased to a militants they've written speech they had personally. -- you don't do it by mistake for the first I've ever. I have -- I don't have enough money for that because you're there don't be surprised that the bill doesn't come up that. All the seafood tower -- you know that's on the built -- -- that -- -- -- paper registered to vote but I don't know how you have plenty I don't know how you I don't hunt. You can't win. Nine or ten games win you have a Tom Brady in the offensive weapons now much independent that. And I agree I think the defense has a question marks up interest we're talking earlier restocking about the the secondary and pass defense or that the bagels are gonna run. The the football against I am well what they're running without without Ty Warren. -- I think the general defense of concern whether we're talking secondary with a were talking up front. It is is all legitimate and this is -- -- this is really a good way to tested. Right off the bat. If you if you can figure out how to handle this office this displaying the law office with the balance that it seems to have although. I think it's going to be more is marches is. Headlines in conversation do with the receivers and Carson Palmer. It it is a running off if they're gonna if if they're having any success this year it's because Cedric Benson is everything he was a year ago and more. We talked about go earlier because Drobo because since losing sleep over their defense. From a jets and don't let loose sleep over the fact of the of the year the marks the census has shown. You know improvement to expect yeah you do for sure but I I think you also have that thing. Now I can't even read this text from for a I I just I thank -- Read this next I'm sorry it's you're you do have a family audience while. While OK but anyway that goes to show reds got a lot of free time right now. If -- ever getting ready -- go any better not be driving in for -- can not but W motorcycle and text and he's the worst. -- asked earlier about Russia about Santa's sure he does he does or the European based test the worry about that. But I also think there's a sense that at the very least a quarterback there's this the model of quarterbacks. That have taken teams to Super Bowls. Is there now don't we mean we have with the Baltimore Ravens were talking about the 2000 ravens -- with the guy entrant for talking about the 2002. Or three where they were Tampa Bay Buccaneers and -- With the Brad Johnson and defense so. I think those parts of it. Probably. That part of it is worth the fans who say if he doesn't kill us he may not win forest and there's confidence in the backfield which separates the jets -- we have Shawn Green. And you do have a complimentary cast it's not going to be. It's not going to be LaDainian talents and during the load but it's Albanian Thomas and complementing and make in place here in markets and football. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- You know the funny thing about Sanchez to an encore what do and and the thing about Sanchez's he's not a smart quarterback yet I mean it do color -- pass routes last year regular green take a shot. I think the heat to get to that point of -- And and Brad Johnson is a little ways down the road for him still in terms of command of what I always look and I. I'd be nervous about him but I like Miami in the east anyway don't know why I'm out with them with Thomas when you wait wait wait like I am I did just that oh he's not a lot. On right he's ultra -- based on imposed defense of Palestinians -- Finkel BC and U. In general director going to be excellent players I think that two quarters they had a -- last year. Between Vontae Davis and John Smith well this goes of the kinda quarters you need in the AFC and against big receivers. Okay what about what about their quarterback you talked about quarterback issues that I don't like I should read it answers I should keep -- I think judicial watch them throw -- many -- passes to buffalo -- players -- -- he does above analyst who's to say I won't play that -- -- for whatever -- this carries with anybody. Bill Parcells is very disappointed him. That's not what may build resign his position a victory was disappointed me for five years -- I talk about the peso worry about that really a lot of people at the sport don't you had -- that that would have -- article about the court. I felt by the -- Freddie just called me trader and I that I could read. A review of -- of the thanks we're sure that a business that it's actually just sent to me get this guy off the air and got that. That's why aren't just a decent on is another one from Brett can't you get Peter king of the year NFL -- And all its. -- holes while it's I -- we're happy to have you aboard again and -- we'll -- -- -- this week ending -- -- -- his game this weekend see you tomorrow it's my district I still love and over that problem by Houston leaves -- -- -- -- the -- the -- extracurricular -- affiliates out of Manitoba on the NFL network. Quick break we'll be deployed eat the frauds were Atlantic black.
