I was just happened we got Troy in the building -- a little afraid nobody would -- here earned his -- excuse me. You're not allowed in this part of the buildings are. They'll remember you know I noticed when when you're here would -- a couple of weeks ago we did this -- this thing together were upstairs. We come down to the building together and Troy stopping and all the little places outback where like they call can stuff hey Jim -- donate you know everybody in this place.
Exactly and now though is with everybody honest anyway in a camera but told him. Oaks in Thousand Oaks in the lives -- so -- as the familiar with me except for that -- pain and you know thank you know I've got a pseudo Sonoma Princeton resonate with some of the younger people you know. There was an older lady up there and working to secure he related well it wasn't familiar with who toured the.
Maybe should -- your Jersey there are some that I I did notice when we came out here a couple of weeks ago you filled in for Michael it was a Friday in fact. And everybody down back of the building every single day trial you bill and they all on the same guy.
Yeah MM SC -- this is just was my personality that is -- go along with everybody you're going to be Odom animation -- guys experience and you know made about his feel like they were that they were important to so that was that was important immediate. They felt comfortable enough to -- open document because a lot of time that that happened with local news.
Anything to worry about Accuray a patriots fan today based on what you -- not last night I'm talking about four game pre season. The four game pre season I think there is a still a lot of concern for parents for us. And coverage ability so best that's the biggest concerned presidency right now I'm kind of expect -- and -- call I didn't lose in an NFL Sunday guy and a and a command you know up about five -- six -- real quick and welcome afforded a little bit numbness there's going to occur over a few people. When they lost Leigh Bodden earlier this week for the year when he was placed on IR -- but evidently shoulder issue. It's a little concerning your -- lost time warrant was a big party or defensive line. Now you lose Leigh Bodden who's one of your to starting cornerbacks. And the domino effect where the united -- Darius Butler has to move from a nickel back into a starting role now somebody else has to move into a nickel back role. And those dominos may be hard for this team to overcome for a while until these guys get their feet well below that.
Well exactly. That is going to be a little bit of this. -- orgasm Nancy -- seeing what they look like plan together and you know trying to get some of his guests being with you know I am in competition in. And they have a big task Emma come up here on next week and I don't have any -- that campaign again and is said also Ochocinco coming -- next week. TERRELL OWENS. Even Reche Caldwell little brother's company is a decent play you know an open grave with a decent pales in -- and experience and you know Shipley who you know could be like gentlemen oracle for that the Obama team also -- they got that they -- gonna give themselves way to play here really really really quick.
Telling about the offensive mindset here if you never admit this and you never say anything bad about a teammate but you're sitting there in your smaller you're sitting at your home at night you're thinking. You know we might give up some points here and if you're an offensive guy are you almost say to yourself. -- we can score most time because that defense may not be holding their very many teams -- as a put extra pressure on Brady and moss and Welker and all those guys.
Well I think -- think in a way it does I think we always told us we had a score much appoints anyway. No matter how the defense was -- who they were playing against it. You know you can you get that feeling like this we've got to put some points because as a -- against a team like we did in 2001 with the rams. The whole mentality was we go we have the score points recanted vehicles and there is on the got to put the ball and in zoning in my defense a chance to stop these doesn't. And again and that's and that way we can give they wanna so much pressure on them is for stop and on the team. We can went up the score some points up there and they feel good about the on the field now being used to scores down when out on the.
All the time you know the reason I ask that is people who've been here around training camp have talked about the demeanor of Tom Brady. How he's been more demonstrative more vocal more more everything more demanding. Now first the ball you'd know better than we would whether that's true or not -- even demanding every training camp you've ever been and whether or think he's got a little more going this year how was.
It was demanded his rookie year. -- He's the sixth round pick if he was on -- He's a very competitive guy remember him getting all of -- ember has been about us open he did. You know in -- out as a rookie minimum -- of an economic demean and telling me how. You know with god is on my case because I didn't go to certain dip on the out of order and you know and and but he respected because. You don't like this guy I want to win and and that's would -- said to me and I mean this is going to be good Wednesdays and here is a note. MVP of the league when you and you know and and still do well so.
So maybe this talk about him being more demonstrative and more demanding a training camp may be a little overstated because based on what -- saying. He's -- always been that way is kind always been that way I -- the the one thing that I didn't see from Thomas it was that there was that attitude listed. When he -- voting me with come from me being himself. He never really got up and -- of football team -- to do better the play better. That entire season even in a Baltimore game the only guy that I so lieutenant those troops was -- well. And and I was really sought Tom do that I think he's getting back to. You know what used to be -- in his leadership rule on the football team we know this better than anybody else I mean there have been times in your career where you were hurt. You're here you're part of the team. But are you not part of the team in other words can you be a leader if you're her.
Yet did you can be you know I always made an effort even -- last airplane when I simply moments ago. Always made an effort to be on time to the meetings -- being in the meetings and you know try to offer help to -- that that may have needed some help. So I was always trying to be Conosoga had to be doing things and and and go about that -- the -- champion and I've never missed a work out. You know during the season and system -- and I was partisan I was always on time and they could have been easy for me and I think I really had to pass. This is -- not so positive bill I don't feel like you know going to practice the day whenever. But didn't soda there is our role for those guys that I heard on this football team and even though has not requested -- you know but he really really really really really feel like. The president of the football team and they would do.
So I was wondering if if much of what you noticed last year from Brady was simply a guy who knew we wasn't a 100%. So you know how can he be barking at somebody for not given a complete effort when in the back of his mind. He knows I can't give everything I give everything I got but I don't I'm not giving as much as I have in the past so maybe I better not be saying much to anybody. Well enough on the.
He you can of course with -- mentality because hopefully the players understand it comes give him every everything's in our purple is given everything you hands in this situation and he's just limited right now because. You know -- you know but he's out there playing and I think. You know from my perspective of things on the go to synagogue the plan analyses given everything you've done I really appreciate. The fact he decided to combine and try to give -- a sudden and give this and if they look like he's the best chance this football team has to win and he's gonna get on him do it so.
Funny you were talking about Tom Brady was -- sixth round draft picks rookie. A 190 ninth overall and he's yellen at Vincent -- be out on the field for route. Not a lot of rookies. Can pull that off.
Not very many you know not very many you know and and he did it -- and envious of risen if you knew him at all. He was the kind of you know one of those no nonsense guys it was -- taken by anyone on the in his basement understaffed and be ready to fight to have a death yup but. He really respect what Tom had to say to amend and has come as the -- with a and his guys going to be good Wednesday's you know I like and I like the ski.
I mean most of the time it and you know at times during your career here you had some you know rookie wide receiver. If he started giving your. In your face but hey you should have been running that route different my guess is he might get slapped down motion as. Yeah -- I mean that's what it would be live in exactly. And it it probably gives you an idea of what kind of leader. And you know its its old self evident now what kind of leader Tom Brady is but -- even had a glimpse back his rookie year what he might be someday.
Exactly you know and then he wasn't the only look at the -- physically wasn't much you know and is not much value the -- you know he's a little bit the notebook up a little more and you know on that thing now Sony's successful Otellini thinks he's pretty in handsome and honored as the even with a hair so you with even within mapping -- of monks from the -- about the idea what is.
from the ladies I don't I don't mind if the guys in the locker room kill about the hair is you're supposed to yeah I mean if you don't have pictures -- sheep you gotta have other things you guys that's. Distancing commercial but -- sort of wondering why the members of the -- so. Tied up in the -- he does still wear a helmet -- I'm assuming this and -- when he plays he still got a helmet on overall Latin thanks so you know witnesses amended its future right now. And and -- did not by the players for all of the -- is great and the idea being given it to -- and maybe some what is them together in the mile -- comments normally he's about how well he looks you know we were talking about this last night now now. Imagine if you. And I know it's hard for Meehan and most of us tour were listening to imagine but imagine if you will. You're married to a supermodel. Gisele Bundchen and she makes I don't know somewhere around thirty million dollars a year. And she says dale. Or throwing error -- I'd like you to grow your ear -- I think you'd be growing -- Our -- thank you would I make a lot. Exactly yeah you definitely would be -- I would be mean she's she's the Brit when announced that will not just that she's a gorgeous gorgeous who -- commodity. Exactly what's what does she says. Come -- to -- you know again appease what would you do a B interest thing wouldn't it. My guess is at this point you know. You married the man you got to know him pretty well. She's got to know that that would goal for parallel. She's got to know that that this is I mean it's obvious to me the passion he still has for it. -- you know he said he claims is gonna play -- forty. I've I'm guests and it would be almost the same as if he said. To -- wanted to just give up that modeling stuff. I probably wouldn't go over real -- right back at you crazy man movement that. Is much is at -- at and and I got a contract. By the way it's well out.
But to give up -- you travel with me a ticket accused -- at the parent anymore tell -- think a Laurence Maroney. -- tomorrow morning is some mystery right now com. Didn't see a whole lot of my guess he ran about -- last night with 32 yards. Not an impressive. Austin three points and the -- From a -- rewarded right now I'm a little bit nervous about. Today's meeting today's cut down -- right. Well today or tomorrow and tomorrow you gotta get -- a 22 guys today and I am I'm a little bit nervous right now. If I'm him and you didn't see a ton of them is pre season comes here and there you -- Lenovo analogous and coupled. One gaming area yet if you decent revenue we actually hit the hole and made some yards. So it's a mystery I mean when he played in this -- this pre season and they and the way he played his pre season. This open is right now look I was home I'm pretty nervous moment.
I was surprised that bill played the starters but he did for a couple of series ball on offense and on defense -- usual. When the -- this for Tom Tom hadn't played in the fourth pre season game since 2003. But but okay he played it. When the first team -- were out there the two series they were out there Fred Taylor was the tailback. When you've got to later on in the game and lawyers at quarterback and -- Robinson's at quarterback Laurence Maroney was out on the field. Get back to your point about if I'm Laurence Maroney I'm probably a little bit nervous today. I mean if you looked at the depth chart right now and you listed the five running backs on this team he beat fifth. Exactly would you know are they gonna keep five. Probably not. Well and and I'll tell you why Troy. Because what expectations the havoc -- Bill Belichick and the staff -- that Fred Taylor's gonna stay healthy that Sammy Morris gonna stay helmets. I mean you got a pretty good idea. Just based on age and track record that at least one if not both of them is gonna get hurt at some point or another.
But -- you -- on both of those guys get hurt the same time again. You know you still have given you still -- being BenJarvus green Ellis you know they've Amin made it carried the load the the year before me -- must last year because of he noted edition of Fred Taylor -- it has -- still a solid back -- cannabis team miles west of football games I don't think he can do any. You know any worse than what we have that we we've seen from growing at a --
If you're Maroney as you said mean you're looking at the math here you probably know that when those five names get put up on the board. If there's a white board like there is on hard knocks your name is fifth on that list.
I mean it's got up as going to be I mean and and invested more reason I'm just to be nerves on me even if he makes the team. I mean I don't know I guess I'm I'm assuming he's going to play -- bands are was going to be the data's going to be an active anyway but it. As for what I've seen you know the past though over the pre season and and bins Armas didn't get a lot of -- him either but. You know this thing right now he's more fit as the gathered the going to and hit the hole that makes up an opening game of the game for -- Skinner.
