Maybe that emotional support that you need in the last couple weeks to be able to make the playoffs. And yet. The let down like that. Doesn't tell you want an awful lot about some of those guys that you got the dressing room -- miss that out of they not pick up on that.

That's a great question and you know what the players should be asked those questions because quite frankly. Room. -- In its ultimate. -- optimistic mean. I just don't think that's -- Bruins fans won here in the aftermath of that game last night and I think that's one of the major reasons. The Bruins have a public relations debacle on the hands right now not. Those -- legitimate reasons nobody wanted to hear that last night. Is that being discussed.

Why don't put in America are similar people going here to get their own lives of the deal with. You know they have their own problems that they have to base their repaid so. I can understand why they don't use it.

Can't keep talking about the lack of passion was last night. It sounds like it wasn't really and I -- party you more that you were opened last night might have ignited. Some passion -- and on the stretcher and if that's the case there's there's still a chance for them to find this fire somehow.

Well I would like to believe so. You know you we've seen it in in spurts this year but we have seen -- consistently and quite frankly him. You know it's something we need to see consistently. I've I've heard this said before in sports that there are certain athletes. That when you give them some security and long term deal. Their place seems to change out there on the field on the court on the ice. You'd think that that something that might have affected. Your team and that there were some guys that you reward they showed great promise or they have had a terrific track record. Any organization felt they deserve to have a new deal. Because of that maybe they just don't play with the same passion in the same. Type of zeal of the played with in the past when they were hungry.

Well there's there's a lot to that -- I mean we've seen it. For years and will contain these -- so the the a lot of sports news final year of the contract for some unknown reason these athletes have their best years -- careers. -- contract. But you know every said that there may be some complacency. That that that in. You know last year was a much better year and everybody expect this to have regular season we didn't go as far as we should have gone on the play some man. You know part in this -- I can't climb in the head of the players and -- understand what their feeling. You know maybe they came in this year think in -- who's going to be easy but with it'll realizes it was last year because they were card. And you know there's there's so much parity in this league right now he can't use. You know strap on the skates and expect to get two points.

So -- need to work artwork and you know we're a team that -- prided ourselves on worker card last year and then maybe appeared easy to the players but there was a lot of work and while. You know campaign and life the one with the work.

I a year ago -- there was nobody more popular on that team in the lone blue checked. Your name was mentioned in the same sentence with -- Is that he's the next Kim Daly he's candy -- type player he's a rough tough guy who can score who can do things. And yet he's got a very disappointing season. I know Cam -- GQ Nokia and dealing. But what has happened here what does happen to the great promise. Or injuries are a legitimate excuse for this --

I would today's high ankle sprain is. He came back from a broken finger. Came back strong. A lot of it is because it was equally so that injury and ankle sprain and he was ski like the the -- the previous injury. I think they're really set him back and -- he's. You know fully recovered from that setback. Because he did have ski team. It would do it and he has the you know speed he's going to be it would get there you know to read that physical play that makes him successful with. Passionate and and competing hard and and -- you know that its its its conceit so. What I'm hearing is where's the passion go on why hasn't changed one year and next what's happened to. You know the biggest thing that I keep hearing is I don't see any passion where's the -- I I don't care if they lose 623 -- receive them care world Europe thanks -- that way parks here it's hearing here.

In it's been a golden opportunity I think it has been right there at the the Bruins doorstep the Red Sox are already won the patriots are you want. Celtics already won it's almost as if people right now have tried to put their attention to with the -- they want to see I was trying to beat you know they're they're fresh they're new. And all the was accomplished would last season and all the patient I remember talking to you. Before the playoffs and he said this there's sort of a natural progression he have to go through these things and geeky one of the exciting -- you said as you don't know. But the challenge things who's gonna step up and who's gonna do what they got a taste of all that. All of a sudden it feels like that is light years away like they didn't learn anything from them.

Well it's good point I mean I've felt that. When we lost seven games to Montreal urged on it was a really good learning experience this guys they cut as you mentioned they got a taste of what. Our fans were really excited about that it's clear reason and -- the players can feel that you know games here all of our work credible there's a lot of excitement enthusiasm. And you know we take the next step we get to the next round and think you know give -- gonna build off that they're gonna learn from that they're gonna hate losing even more. When he gets further play it hurts. Worse to lose and you know when -- won one OT goal away into the third round you you would expect that come -- hungrier all year. He granted. While what I wanna see is that is -- better effort from Siemens and come out with the purpose to win hockey game. And show that they want you know compete. -- from the drop -- the puck. That's what idea. I expect. That's what I expect.

Selig that's part of the whole issue of for lack of trust that. Most Bruins fans today probably. Would hope that that would happen on Sunday but don't have any expectations that it would based on.
