The Bruins will fight Matt Cooke

I know people are looking at Thursday's game and in different ways in what could happen what couldn't happen. And and I think it's going to be pretty simple -- if if what you're expecting is for Matt -- to be hauled out of the TD garden on a stretcher you're gonna be disappointed. If that's what your expecting are looking for than you'll probably. You know go home think in the that was all elected. He will -- He will have to -- you think he'll fight I I think he'll fight and and now how he does in the fight will determine how many times he fights. Eighty Wednesday -- what he's gonna have to fight again -- right that's what take that L MacBook. Which is make life easier. Now you know you guys know this a lot better about it you know your big hockey guy. He -- this guy can't fight. Or they'll he doesn't really want Sunnis say either cheap shot yet he he's he's a sucker puncher -- you know he's ahead arteries that cheap shot guy. Look here's what I think should happen tomorrow night and it's pretty simple for me. Dan -- was an old time hockey guy he understands the way and he knows what what's -- he also knows that it was cheap shot. And that probably deserves a little something. If I'm Dan -- I start Matt -- tomorrow and I get it over. I know what's coming I get it over with elect the around the building. Well you let the air out of the building if your guy loses. And I think you. I mean you aren't I don't I'm saying well if it in I think he fights with marks to forty salutes. Matt Cooke's manhood has been called into question as well Matt Cooke is a guy it every says will -- be just turtles well. He has to respond in the same way the Bruins have to respond Matt -- cast. If if you know mark store walks up to him and he immediately sticks his head down on the ice and puts its arms -- had he not only you know proves to everybody that he's Howard. He becomes then a laughingstock. Could answer the same thing about the Bruins. Well that -- a laughingstock right right since it happened that's why I think they have to win will response you know what it is isn't there.

On one hand you're right and and I I'm with you. I know you're not calling for -- is Sidney Crosby going down a dollar don't know I don't know all can go now going out. Matt I -- you guy -- has to get the response number if you with the other America America needs to be. He needs to be dealt with -- whether he went to fighter not just they need to show that. No they won't take this. They make the playoffs or not they need to show that we're not that kind of team you can't do this. We're not gonna allow Mac cook get away with this he really got away with that he got away with that. For the league looked at -- league looked -- it and he got away with that again. You'll not I get away with this against our team that's fine. But could you make the argument that the Bruins were really. Offended. By what what Matt Cooke did. And by this perception of them saw these -- they would have played this way. From that that moment in Pittsburgh or after Pittsburgh. Until tomorrow's game. And they only play that way -- play with inspiration. Inspirational talk about physical hockey in one of those games all the flyers game like they did there were a couple of fights. About they looked good last night offensively that's a very bad team yeah. -- maybe didn't need to against the hurricanes are so bad you don't really heed to the -- they -- round bat by the way I thought they played a decent game. Well they probably won't and can't do that because I don't think that's who they are but I think that they have to respond here and I think they well. So if that's what you're looking for -- watch the game you'll be disappointed that's not gonna happen nor should it happen natco will fight to -- He may fight more than once but he'll fight at least we'll look forward to -- IQ. I mean as a as a an advocate of old time hockey. I can't wait this -- it was a decent win last night I don't wanna go crazy like that the -- yesterday called the the Celtics win. You know against Detroit fool's gold you know lady is the Detroit Pistons -- Michael crazy I don't wanna go crazy over win against the Carolina Hurricanes. But. In a game that became 32 with the Bruins kind of took control in the third period which we haven't seen them do. Thankfully they were playing against many legacy that helps a -- right. You know it there were positives to be taken from a I don't wanna I don't wanna knock those I don't wanna go crazy about a note if three -- win over the Carolina -- I do.

I do it may not necessarily say the Bruins are are charging toward the playoffs. But. Is going to be hard to keep them out of the playoffs. If they put the right people in there if they continue to go to go in that Tim Thomas.

I I think I Arctic front Thomas time has passed right now and if you read -- they know that while they do. If you read Claude Julian -- comments after the game in the papers today. He said you know it's kinda time to ride the hot goaltender. And I think they gave Tim Thomas an opportunity. To grab the job I I almost think they felt they owed it to -- you know as the incumbent number one goaltender they owed him an opportunity. And in the three golds in the first period the other night the opportunity was that'll. I think you'll see Tuukka of the thirteen games remaining you'll see him play twelve if not thirteen of I think he'll play animal.

It's kind of plan I think build. I don't think at this stage. It makes any sense. To play Tim Thomas now the roles were reversed I can I -- defendant because you'd have the veteran. Tim Thomas. Playing some games and then you wanna see with the -- so you put him and you know you're an eighth seed you might make the playoffs you might not. See what he has but in this case you know Tim Thomas. Can and can't do yeah. And I don't think this is just that down year for Thomas. -- ideal I don't why I like it to down knew what and I I don't advocate of the gets a little more serious than that disliked the the way we talk about the Celtics. I think maybe we should start talking about Tim Thomas in the same way. Elite goaltenders can do what for a long time. I just don't think he's -- only goaltender I know we disagreed on.

I don't and I do think I think he wasn't leafs goaltender and I don't think they lose it that fast I don't think legal to download your year. Isn't that pretty good even before like ultra right what.
