I bet you're really they should let shortly DIC's announced today puts experiences and allows for just got off to found. Wow it's unbelievable. The following -- trading deadlines. Danny -- President of basketball operations near Boston Celtics dropped from a -- Jones who had yours actually is to join you guys the last couple days away and they are then. His finger on the work we had the big deal done -- talked about tiger we gonna talk about anything else we gonna talk about. You know Barkley you're ripping the team are we gonna talk about a bunch of other so we don't have to sit there and talk about what time. -- -- -- -- don't care -- mark rosy the stuff I know what today together of those that I've played with both of those guys has been three years with Charles and eight years with Kevin and and those are two. Guys that make the job fund did you know -- -- the hills but around Barkley an awful on this you know they were very good friends and much of -- play -- golf compartment so bad that there really good first I'm amazed that Kevin. Loses track sometimes the Barkley gets him off script did you know. Thabeet gets a -- scrap. Oh yeah there's a -- -- numerous occasions last night worry was off script well I'd like I mean Charles -- Japanese cabinet you know Kevin is so funny as you know Glenn you've been around in my lie heat. That guy you know Kevin to me is trying to be. More professional and and -- -- this goes off off the deep end in act but Kevin is has a lot to offer in entertainment value more than -- basketball knowledge and expertise and I see him doing that when -- with Charles. Before he gets a whole load the fifth trading aspect to them and which you've been doing with your life you're over the last two or three months. Are we were happy you -- gave us but I I thought defensively. At the end they granted you guys had some trouble. -- and the shot selection was great down the stretch but I thought defensively last night. That was a very very good effort against a good team. Not you know so what's been going on when we played two good teams so far in the last month. When we we have. Fourteen point lead at Orlando with seven minutes ago on the game we have eleven mean lead with the with the lakers here in the Boston Garden. In the fourth quarter we have all these leads against all these good teams so there's a lot of really good things going on. Our offense down the stretch we just it it seems like we quit moving we -- we're doing nothing but isolation basketball. We quit moving it's not fatigue it's not age I really think its focus and our guys are it they're they're more bad habits than they are in need any talent in my opinion. You know we saw last night did raise not old break in play maybe he's been distracted the last few weeks -- Go to mall but both types -- traders say -- -- you ask kotsay guy. I -- been to a slightly prior whatever three -- we don't clip Lejeune mess around we have is that in the wasn't started tapping in November but if but here's -- but here's the deal with the with ray one thing that's lost is in this is what one reason why it was hard to to move grave with our chances this year. And that is really is having the best year of his career shooting the ball inside the three point line. The only place he's struggling with his shot right now is the three point. And so. You know his two point shooting as the highest of his career and that goes unnoticed so he's coming off the screens and shooting is fine it's this team hasn't been make him last night he made his spot up threes and mean histories in transition which are huge and hopeful that we can see that more -- the second half a year in Russia makes -- world a different -- just opens up floor minutes that -- it's just amazing the difference when we're re sitting those shots your offense changes dramatic no question now now we just need. We need more movement you know when when -- came -- of the time Allen Rajon made that -- in that running shot off the glass was a huge possession. I mean it went from side decide decide in men we got the drive -- right now we're just trying to row Johns is trying to drive you know one on five and instead of moving the ball from side to side so it's not so much ball movement as it is player movement were not cutting hard we're not. And so it's like we're trying to do it one on one when it comes to pressures so it's more habitual and it is just fatigue. Does it still comes down especially defensively. To KG getting healthy here I mean you could see it last night -- that. It seems to me that specially on that side -- there there's the bad knee. That his guy can make a move on and he can't make that initial move. And guys are getting by -- you're seeing that guys a game. I don't remember seeing that when this guy was healthy. You know that you do and I'll tell you why I like the drive that you know they made a big deal on TV elect look you know they kept -- called select 310 look at the speed. It had nothing to do would speed we got mixed up ray gets beat by booed just sets. You know that's not speed did beat us there. KG gets blown by by Lamar Odom because he's closing out so far on the wrong Ingle. The Lamar blows by him you -- to be slower at all beginning yes I'm not saying that but I'm saying and that. You know you have to play smart you have to get square you have to get take away the angles you can't just. If you're not extremely quick here -- can get away with giving up angles but. So when guys are getting beat off the dribble. It's usually more mechanics and more technique than it is just flat out speech courtesy of less margin for error now because of all I hear it's I think that you you watched him play against Lamar -- last night and most of the time he was great. Most of the time tomorrow and couldn't go by him. But does it it's not because of the speed it's because KG is not. Plane in the right angles when Rasheed -- speed off that we wouldn't go so goes by him. You look at the angle that he's plain and look at his feet and look at how much room he's giving Gasol. He because then he adjusts and you know the Gasol doesn't go by and the next time you feel confident that he's healthy enough right now. For you guys to make a run in this thing or Willie get healthier between now you feel confident based on the knowledge you've got would you medical staff you know what his situation is. But you'll get better when we get to the end of April so you know like -- so this here's here's some that I -- clear up actually we're glad you brought that up. You know last year. There was a lot of it we never thought that KG was gonna play we hoped that he might play in your life to us no we didn't. No that's and that's a misnomer we look I had just as much hope as any fan. I believed. That there was a chance. They Kevin Garnett might play. But we never were counting on him to play if that makes I mean I -- that sound that's what we were saying all along we there's a chance he might play. But we're not counting on Kevin Garnett -- I don't think you mean the odds are that he won't but he might. And there's a big difference so that's the first thing the second thing is is it's it with when he wind had surgery to finally repair his -- Through all the MRIs and all the X rays and all the scans that they did when they got in and did the surgery this spur was bigger than anybody thought. So the pain that he was experiencing was much greater than even the doctors spot and everybody thought so. You know Kevin is his is no worse he's gonna apply if he can't. And so that's the first thing that we learn and that's not the first time in my experience. That we've gone in and seen the surgery and it's completely different than what the MRI showing everything else it's different it's a different dynamic when you're in -- looking at the surgery. So it's it's it's injuries we don't know none of us know of KG last night if KG plays like he did last night. And he makes a shot I think he missed his last six shots last night. You know -- you know he's gone through stretches this year ten game stretch is not a game here in the game there where he was shooting 70% 75% of those of those jump shots. Last night he missed six -- down the stretch of the game. Com that has nothing to do with the help. He's been -- he's made those shots most the year shooting an amazing percentage of those shots. So we need KG to play like he did last night health wise make shots might be the answer is yes now. Rasheed didn't play well last night could make a shot didn't look good defensively mar keys did not play well last night had to when his worst games. Do you take a shot in the game no no we didn't he may -- -- he made some bad defense of bears and in unit just looked out of sync offensively. You know and we're still able to get a win but those are health issues our team is not in sync right now. But so the answer is if KG plays like he did last night defensively. Rebounding he'd lost a couple of rebounds Alicia had. Any can make those shots that he normally makes that he didn't make last -- the answers yes owners is Paul still not a 100%. Our our whatever defense of problems you forever because that directly attributable to KGB and hurt or is there more to more than two says there are not. Problem not tell you something else you'll KG is one of the best defense of players and -- in the league team defenders he and he's important part of our schemes. But last year when he was out in weeks we started eleven games -- Brian Scalabrine our defense of numbers with the same. We've got to be able to execute defensively with their without KGB KG is not as long as he's not hurting our defense which he's not. But again I think it's more that it's the little things and they go and they keep in -- keep shown them over and over again especially recently you know and on tape. And you can see it in they see it and that's why there's competence and doc and that's why there's confidence in our players and what we have because. They've just gotten away if if anything I think -- would admit right now. Then because they're veterans because they've had injuries. He's been a little bit light on them and practice time this year for obvious reasons. I don't think it's necessarily mistake I think but that is some reasons why we're we're not as sharp as we need to be. Thank you talk more about Rasheed what you expected when you got him when he's given you so far. And what you're expecting go forward. Yes so I think that Rasheed is about what we expected to come you know. We would hope that Rasheed would be the 35% three point shooter right now we -- -- -- 30%. Although we did have a good January were -- 37% you know I'm hope that in -- machines one of those guys that. In a seven game series is capable of shooting 50% from the three point line. But he's never been that throughout his career and so you accounting and hoping that he she is -- 35% three point shooter. He's given us what we need to what we expected defensively. You know the emotional part of Rasheed I mean we're foolish to think that we were gonna get anything different than what we've gotten to this point by the by the way his technical foul was rescinded last night or -- to twelve yeah I mean but it but it is still I mean he's ready I think don't I think Dwight Howard has -- more technicals for him. But but the point is is that. And by the way if Rasheed gets suspended for a game you know of whom in the playoffs start you start all over missed playoffs start you get a whole new seven films like it would until the seventh infantry I know he will -- I don't but I don't ever. Hopefully we go far enough in the playoffs wherever I become an issue I -- -- that would be great and but down. But the but the but Rasheed has not been as consistent as we want. Okay but. The last two games before last night. Rasheed was not only good he was our best play Sacramento -- -- Sacramento game and New Orleans -- he was our very best player. So -- I think the machine disk is getting there in the last night again that was a step back you didn't play well but. How -- is this -- seems to he seems to drift in and out. And when he -- -- you're right he's very very good when you acquired in June look at him and saying. I'm looking at the playoffs because we don't it's a long he's a good god it's up there and agents along regular season you're playing four games in five -- in it our all works. Did you look at him and say as you just said about a seven game series 'cause I think that's where he's going to be much better where he's focused and and a seven game series same match up every single game. He knows what he's got to do I don't think he's drifting off somewhere here. Let -- my biggest concern with Rasheed when we were looking at him the summer. Was. He didn't come every night. But he did -- big you're right yes he did he did drift yes. And he has an ability to step it up and be the best player inning game on any given night. But you know in a seven game series he's not going to be there for seven games but most role players are. Most bench players are mean if you get if you get three really good games that if -- a seven game series at a bench players -- pretty good shape them and you need your good players to be there for. Five out of seven games. And I mean last year Turkoglu it's this huge contract he had one good game and our seven game series. I mean it was game seven he played great he did not have a good series at all and many -- Cleveland. You know he's unbelievable. And I think -- was she does that kind of a player he has ability to have great series he has the ability to appeal put together streaks and win he does make shots. Were we don't ever lose I mean we win when he's making shots we went I would agree we and so that's important for you -- I think he's an important alum what he brings to our team is important and we need him to. To be. You continue to get in shape and continued to be more focused I think he will. Toward pleasant kind of got to take a break when we come back we'll alone we'll get into the whole trading period -- will break down forests every single deal that the things when he made some that. Almost came to pass and others that have failed miserably that's coming up next right here an eviction. I -- -- the Friday session of the picture -- -- when we get the Osce announced today we got -- Stearns and Malia and bodily Yemeni. Jobs over this week cruiser window -- as a which honestly we can she can hear and focus on -- a creative and I did EH to a. What she would but I got he he drew a stir the of the a week or so ago I think yes and you know these emails -- Like he traded away Joe Johnson and you alright you broke in that they Clijsters she was seen on all right right. I misspoke I -- broke -- into -- its. No don't don't know obviously is to -- that broke that I was talking about what you I complimented you on that. But I -- -- in Italy and goes -- I didn't even do that team got swept in the first round lead to buy New Jersey the -- before or that went to these -- cardinals -- anyway it I don't agree at all oh look at what she's never made a career rather get the facts right plasma -- -- -- -- most of but I missed that story and a source though it. Yeah those actually people that's like -- an arrogant I the first quite hoses on the radio this is so that I'm a little surprised that that Stoudemire stayed in Phoenix. -- what can you share with us we heard all the stories that you're involved. We talk -- them. What we did we did talk about getting Stoudemire but you know the the I got a sense immediately that they weren't really getting the things that they wanted and they were and I think they were frustrated that's just my take on it but. I think they would like to have moved him but I think they'd like a Mari and even heard rumors that they were trying to extend a -- You know they would that the two year two or three year contract extension not sure of the details I'm. He's a terrific player and they just didn't get what they wanted. I it was the craziest thing or not probably for about 48 hours this whole Nate Robinson trade everybody knew that it was eventually coming down. And but it was amazing we sit here the other day in the tweaks were coming through and you get a call from all of the different basketball race. We're talking you're you're top basketball writers in the country a roll right it was constantly changing correcting it there was something that you and I've talked about many times. The way the media works right now the the immediacy of that in the inaccuracy of it initially and it creates all sorts of problems for general managers. How difficult was this deal to do because it's certainly seem like it took a lot of time how much of what was the base year compensation player in that that's what Robinson was. And so his value was different than what he was getting paid. Is that what made it's so difficult to pull the -- are none the the deal was worked out. We we had talked of. Gaining the back in the first part of the year around Christmas time New Year's. And inning went off for 41 points. Okay first night back -- there's there's guys that -- trying to get him before that Albers and it became a little bit more difficult and then as time went on in this. The parameters of the deal needed to change I'm. But we had a deal worked out but it was the reason why it was taking so long is that we were trying to do. Other things New York was involved in many other things that we had this kind of deals set up on the side. And that if one of the bigger deals that we had that we're trying to accomplish. And the necessary pieces so it was kind of agreed that we were Gannett. Do the deal as it ended up being with Marcus Landry coming here injured in the Billy walker with an -- went to New York. But if something else happened and we needed those pieces those contracts or those players to to make other deals. Then. You know we we might have been able to change the deal in another way but it was a complicated deal but the complication of the numbers was worked out well in advance. So we just never knew if and up until. About two days ago that it was okay we're doing it for shirt no matter what we're doing this deal New -- doing it. And but we were still way trying to work out a bigger deal with New York possibly -- involved Houston or. Sacramento war you know -- with the other teams that we're going on so. Chair of interest and Kevin Martin he get moved did you have interest yes we did we did have discussions with Sacramento have mark. I Jamison as a go to Cleveland. Lot of people were talking. Two weeks ago that you were gonna do a deal with butler Jamison. And Jamison didn't seem to make much sense to me an older player -- big box that you really of interest in him. Oh well I mean everybody has interest in James he's a terrific player but because of his agent his contract was prohibitive for us to get involved and so there was never ever any discussion with teams like butler. Did like -- I mean he's got a good contract he's young. He's athletic. I think he's terrific competitor and we did trying to see if there's something we can do for. Abrams I don't want to tell me why don't you had interest to Nate Robertson and what he does for your team that Eddie House doesn't do. But answer me this question why was he having so much trouble. With his coach out there why. Do we keep on hearing stories out in New York that this guy had trouble in the locker room and do you view it at all concerned about that. I'm not concerned about it. You know I don't know all the details of what's going on in you know would seem like that -- in the right or -- in the right in the coach is somehow wrong and I want to say this that coaches are not always right. That's -- philosophy. Yeah -- -- -- you white and you know but the I don't know I'm sure that they brought a lot of these things on himself I think that there's. -- was eighty is a terrific talent. He was. I think glorified in in to idolize the New York. I'm awful quick in his career and his big city was that dynamic player Europe crowd favorite. And I told our guys are nice and -- one of the best players. In the year teams so you know I think that can create problems when young players get a little bit too much too quick. But I think in everything that I've learned from -- when he was coming -- the draft I've talked with his college coach quite a bit about -- -- -- I'm a fan of him as a person -- fanning him as a player. And so a I'm not worried about what he's you know the only thing you worry about is in that trade like with -- traders. Not Nate coming in I'm not worried about that at all but I liked -- you -- we really liked Eddie House. And what he brought to the locker room and and who he was he's a good guy Brittany. As a player it's it's a more dynamic player Scott Speed in half led a schism and as you as much as plain mean it's hard nobody gets in the paint except Rondo. And is gonna create space creates energy. And and then on top of that he can shoot but he can create his own shot. It's gonna say he's that guy that you know we're talking about lack of offense and won't spells that you team goes you can put amount for awhile he'd like 1214 points and a quick about it -- But he's not doesn't seem to medium and again I don't see in the way you do. That he distributes the ball he creates his own offense. But he doesn't get a lot of people involved out yourself in short spurts of a surprise me spud -- the old original short -- you get about Peter he helps you out. Put over a long period of time he's not gonna move that ball around is DF that it has yet to be used in the careful manner. I know I think Darko take a little -- time productive figure that out -- That's not a bad thing. I mean we're sitting there watching LeBron in and Carmelo last night and and there and I do and anything there's no ball movement LeBron comes down -- -- pick and roll. And if they double team him they kick into an open three point shooter and -- Carmelo they give the ball on the album we faces up be me just takes open shots. I mean to -- College basketball is a game because that did that the players -- -- skills aren't near what they are in the MBA in the MBA with a shorter clock and with the talent you have on offense and with the talent on defense. Patterns. Don't create office. Moving the ball around is overrated when I'm China's moving bodies is not over rated everybody cutting and moving and that's what we need more of down the stretch. But when you have a player like LeBron and you can just come down and give the ball to him at the top of the key he dribbles it here comes very just set the screen. That's all the office they have now you have to pick your poison you get trapped in meek exit to open shooter if you don't trapped -- -- gets a shot gets in the paint he creates offense. But that's kinda what native state has the ability to just run high pick and -- for all Courter yet in important -- known and -- himself absolutely not buys one he's he's kinda guy that you can I don't -- like Illinois and a few minutes and all those Jose -- now -- things -- -- objective number no he's just -- -- -- not not comparing him with LeBron -- understanding it is a -- -- that you can run high pick and -- offense for the seven minute stretch and so. And he'll make an open pass if they double team him a pass it to the open man but you're right he's more of -- score and I think that's what doc wants him to be. That's what he's good that and that's what he should try to do or how much of an SL like would get the site. That what we're what we're giving up is the opposite creators -- point guard he's given -- well now. One dimensional outside shooter but he did open up the floor for a there's no question when he was -- And unfortunately eating get enough of that in you know especially this year but -- he's -- he says some huge games it's open up the whole fourth agree. And his -- was attractive room with you before million this year that's a report talked about Reitman so bad. Is that mean there's a future for him with the Celtics pass this year have. I hope so you know what time will tell we'll see if it fits if it's a good that's a good fit for us in a good fit for him and you know -- have options this summer to to pick and choose where he wants to play and now hopefully it works out in -- it's it's not just a short term. -- He's been in the future we on the all raise up Paul's up and and -- How much -- this trading deadline was coming out last year he arrived on the future. What do you think about as a guy because this comes up on the station all the time. One of the things people look at you they realized that you live through the original Big Three is a player. And I argue on which they got they got rid of him before the frequent and will be very you know like -- they were done. -- that back in history they were. But I mean how how much do you keep an eye on that and what are your thoughts. Is that conversational goes and so many different directions how long and this year we're seeing some the age I don't know if it's an exaggeration to say you know. Is so so it's my job to come to ownership and to establish and to identify. The value of players where they are. And then collectively we sit down and figure out -- you know what what we should deal. So if it's tempting to break up the Big Three if it's tempting if there's something there that would really give us some stability for the future and and be something that we could not turn down for the president then we talk about it and we we we sit down and as a committee and we try to figure out what's best. You know that didn't happen in this -- this time we we have some compensations and discuss those possibilities and and talk about the future constantly. And but those are those opportunities weren't any good even attempting -- and we didn't come close to doing any that the. This out this outbreak. We'll only ask you this -- it is the question everybody has you pricing a lot of people right. Over the last 24 hours that you've decided on staying with the victory. It seems to me that you still have some flexibility when the season is over. And the flexibility at the end of next year before or during the season next year and into next year the following. Every year Siro when the season is over if you have an expiring contract you can still do a sign and trade. -- another team and there are so many teams that have put themselves in the position now from a -- when wade Chris Bosh. All of the big guns out there and all gonna get them. To the going to be a bunch of teams that are gonna be disappointed. And yet they're gonna have to figure out their finances. For the next season correct. Right -- sign and trades are possibility just because you have a player and expiring contract does not mean that that players gone you also have the ability to resign that player. And you know and -- case you know we don't know what those numbers are we don't know I think a lot of it's gonna depend on. What we wanna do what ray wants to do a lot of it's gonna depend on how we play from here on out. But we do have options. And you know but the bottom line is you'd you'd try to find anything out there that. Will attempt to you try to find some value it and you and then you'd look take those backing you discuss the future. And that the president and weigh those and now I can do I can tell you that we had a ton of discussion we talked with a lot of teams we had some -- players. And they just those weren't there. -- Are to imagine -- all the rumors were floated out there. That there -- some from the wasn't reporter was ripping out their that was going on the you were talking about -- you're talking to the -- run -- her vote. While I'll tell you this that I would save that. The things that are reported. We're probably. Not true this time around us and that's always the case but in this trading deadline. It was it was I picked up that the paper one day mistreating and it was if it was amazing to me that the things that were reported had no truth like none. And the things that war. Are things that we were discussing where report being report right. And so gathers there there's a lot of things happening there are reported in you know he he -- have been learned in this business and you should deal with people as. You know who you talked to how fast it gets out and you -- -- that -- and there's some people the can really trust in this business and some people that just can't help themselves but talk or there's leaks within the organization and do -- user reviews. People are anxious to get the word out to reuse them to try our plan hasn't -- wanted to manipulate the situation I don't you know I think that that does happen I -- I think there's people doing that I'm not sure -- its agents and much of its teams to try to. I mean it's amazing how unusual and procedures -- malicious agent of knowing how that happens but you know I I don't think it's helpful I mean I think that. There are there are times when you're fearful that anybody knows what you're doing because. It could if someone else got -- -- what you -- trying to accomplish -- -- fact that -- fact there's some things that are reported that got -- real close that. The doing some deals and it it might not happen had these things I've been reported because deals that we were offering for certain players and then. It spurs on wall may be this team in evolved and give us that player and that team -- he had no idea that San Antonio made like this player. There's no way for us to know that. Unless we sit down with San -- set it what players in the league you wanton. And nobody wants to tip their hat and -- have a working relationship. And partnerships with other teams and I think that that sometimes can be very helped. I've never seen anything like it. Because it in years gone by you were dealing with the newspapers maybe TV stations radio stations. And for rumble was there that reporter these guys that are doing it that it that it twittering and in doing the FaceBook or whatever amount. Criticizing them they're very good reporters the differences the five that they've got to get the story right out -- even though they know they don't have. In the old days those same writers. Would sit there a David Aldridge. Would have six or eight hours to be a -- enough calls it nailed down that story get all the specifics now what you do you get up need to order. You get first that the article out there. The first line of the trade minute fifteen minutes later you're correcting that are adding somebody else and taken a name out that you continue to do that for six hour timeframe. And it's crazy it's have never seen anything like. Now it's a race it's a race for the for the scoop. And it's an accuracy is not important. Like if you get any benefit. You know you'd you'd use a you know butler and Jamison you know. While that's considered accurate even though James has names ever been mentioned. So. You know there's some truth in the butler park. And there's some discussion happening but there's no truth in some of the other parts of some of the players that were offering in things like that so you know what happens and a case. One team is discussing. Those two players with one team and then suddenly they hear that Boston's also interest in doing the deal so they just assume it's the same deal right that another team -- -- But but you're exactly right it it's a race so if they hear it boom it's out. And it's all over and it builds in a fire's built and then you know but that doesn't become a distraction and all of this is it hurt you just talked about it actually helped you in one case. We thought you might because. Though the team thought you were doing another deal does have become a distraction work it actually hurt you out there would you rather evident on. Well I mean it's it's annoying. I will say that mean have to deal with with the media people all the time that are just driving you crazy all you know I heard this from and I heard that rumor and and and so forth but. I'd rather not deal was that I guess but it can be helpful. If you mentioned that Paul's not exactly healthy what else can tell us about that. I just don't think he's a 100% and I don't think that he's jeopardizing. Hurting himself quantum season -- -- -- himself back in shape but. The of the infectious -- -- think is starting to get there. And I think the foot is not an issue anymore and it puts fine and I think that's what's under percent that in his knees still little bit. So war here in there but there's no structural things just was an infection and so. He has great days and he has not so great is but I mean I think he's 95%. He looks so good off the slower and lumbering at times were. You see that that that drive off the top. And where he's been able to shed defenders who released get some Spacey Kate get that space anymore he. Seems to try to fight through it a little you don't see CA I think that what we're doing is we have the ball in his hands too long and so Paul you know starting off from a dribble. Is not it's explosive. Paul starting with a lot of -- catching the ball up to elbow -- He's he's still has explosiveness but I think that like last night sucked into the game he's dribble he's got our testament and and they're trapped name out there at the three point line he's trying to run clock in the east starting from such a distance. You know indicating to catch a ball with a live dribble and face up -- -- and in an inning and then use his speed and quickness I think Paul still has his explosiveness and what can you tell us about is a lot of talk in the station overall start we can what can you tell us about how meaningful ones. Appalled -- three point contest in his comments afterwards you know. I tell you shouldn't have been issued in the news and -- great pictures and time. You know you know what I mean I I think that's what makes Paula good player and all good players you know whether we believe it or not you know -- I love the fact that he thinks that. And Adam. You know -- but what about the comments that they were talking about were Paul. -- in in and so partly streets are and I thought that was pretty pretty lame I demy painting I would thought it was great to his affair left to hear that he meant so much to them. What did you anything bad and -- -- -- -- not as I was at a personal agenda well well I'll tell you this I mean. Larry -- wanted to win all right Larry Bird without practicing for -- was gonna finish second -- the day you came in as a replacement let me sit standing right worried about and no question Larry wanted to win and -- -- gamesmanship like Paul was doing -- was top contrast to all the players in the in the locker room. So I think you know I don't have any problem with Paul wanting to win that's what that's what makes all grade is he he wants Atlantic. -- -- Trading deadline -- president. The why he failed and a couple of years ago right and so he probably looks at that met him. Is is an important thing it was so he failed that he's a competitive guy he's giggling like a -- what you want. He can you right now things he wanna. Noticed they took it away in the mistake he diligently they started again last and they try to get Mikhail in on the whole argument about the top five top self. Where it's so difficult to do when I certainly think Paul -- in on that in the conversation. Is this organization -- great place to quote it's a lot of the list while you know here's thing maybe should expand -- -- in Europe if you put Paul Pierce with Robert parish. And Larry Bird and I mean he'd have championships that mean especially in his prime of his criminal Paul Pierce is a fantastic player and and he's done it for a long period of time he's been great player and he in you know you saw the year that he did have some help and yet. You know an aging KG and an aging Ray Allen. I mean he was the MVP of the finals he was you know 45 points in game seven against LeBron James I mean. He wasn't a good player he was a unbelievable. Player with good -- and I think that if -- had if Paul played more games like that in the prime of his career. I don't even think there would be a discussion. And and I think that you know that the problem is is that you have cousy who's an MBP. Of the MBA and you have talent is an MBP of the MBA along with the obvious to. Russell and bird. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- You know. Paul is definitely in that discussion in my opinion without question. And you know I I think that because of is you know has sustained greatness. He can be in the discussion with the with the -- others of the then burden. And Russell one of the trade to a question. Did you get upset at all in a document a couple of comments about it in this morning's newspaper. But the fact that Cleveland is able to go out and get Jamison. They give up Ilgauskas in the thirty days from now. Ocostas could get cut if he's bought out of his deal if Dallas doesn't intervene because they need -- replacement for European apparently they answer -- He could come back thirty days from now beyond that Cleveland -- Kenya both Ilgauskas. And you have Jamieson I know and the reason I ask the question. Is you guys did the exact same thing. In going to Atlanta and getting Antoine Walker back releasing more do in the area get paid back yeah -- I mean. You've already committed the crime. Right now this crime is hurting you. With a a team right now that you've got to beat in Europe conference this it does it bother you -- all you know what it doesn't because it's it's a rule -- were all aware of. It it can happen even that you can't manipulating you can't make deals before hand you can't accept it -- trade you and you come back I mean it's. That's against all the rules if you cot it's pretty severe penalty doing that. But the fact that you ask if -- if we hit it vetted -- this has been there's whole career. I think that most teams that have read that are heard that if you know are wondering and sitting by the sidelines waiting to see what happens with -- Ilgauskas -- can help a lot teams but. You know you don't play five guys that wants I don't know I mean they got Shaq they had Ilgauskas again -- -- out again Jamison. You know the kid Hixon is planned as fast as Basilan off form -- the you know I don't know I'm I'm still worried about LeBron more than when whoever else they bring in. Focusing on the right -- This is great we should -- more. Tomorrow it might be in today and we're just glad we got as -- -- -- -- just the knowing you guys talking about the Red Sox and spring training legitimate and you would talk more budget -- I have to tell you want with a few more games and -- it cannot rest on our other lakers last night. I would talk again and we'll just apply different. I'm talking Red Sox who don't agree with that the phone from -- to get targeted to a. The tigers that tiger was good today to me was believable and that I was I was very impressed with the other we've heard so many. Celebrities to get up and with these big apologies and you know but I was very impressed with his overall statement and tone and and now. I became more of a tiger fan today than -- I mean I'm never been Michael Tiger Woods but I was that I did great today. I think we all but the same thing today -- and I think we're looking and we were a little bit suspicious in that. It was so contrived so control but we were afraid it was not going to be open enough but I thought he did the right thing especially where he talked about how. He basically has had this life of luxury and he's violated. Something here and and he's done something that than the regular guy keep him he should be on that what I thought he brought himself back to the public so it was. -- -- -- -- -- -- Power and money can ruinous and what is holding -- and this entitlement and I love that I loved you talked about his faith in what he was tied as a child and you know that we're not test. You know. We have a conscience and we we can control our choices and anyway I was I was impressed when there was gonna I can -- thinks it is an ICO Garrett Anderson PH joining a syrup have a --
