If Rasheed Wallace's telling you gotta calm down you probably got some issues going on in your life with joked I realized I signaling -- as funny. -- got line though it was a great lies. I I don't truly understand. Why eight coaches and players get frustrated. Announcers. But Tommy was gonna take hostages last night always. An and I don't understand it I mean you're sitting there watching it you're on. You know what the hell is going on if they're not on the take are -- that incompetent I mean that's what you're left with -- -- -- who beat them watching game on TV year or -- and calories or coach. I understand the frustrate I just coaches that -- in that way but if you're a coach. And let's be honest. -- officials pretty calm and OK I mean -- rides him from beginning and -- and I know. Listening you know when. What's his name. The refereed. Name escapes me the -- three you wrote the book who are on Tim Donnelly when he was on here with DNC. He admitted he and doc had little personality clash -- and he said you know -- rides. Officials pretty hard and and the intent here is that your hoping that. You know you're not gonna change this call to bitch and about the maybe you'll get a call in the second quarter of the third quarter I understand it. There comes a point where calmed down little. You can't be given up like seven straight points in a tight game to Atlanta because UN Europe assistant coach too cute little I don't. Yeah it's a game either -- -- SW is a game they should of one. I think doc is plant some mind games when he said on. I is that earlier. That the Atlanta. On the elaborate upon and that the Atlanta Hawks -- waters of a game at that as much as the Atlanta Braves and maybe and maybe not as much but the Atlanta Hawks. R.'s superior team. The Celtics which I don't buy at all hospital by. At their apparatuses and give the Celtics. All kinds of problems the Celtics are our athletic enough. They've got really good players it counts of players I think they should of won that game last night even without Rashid. Even without KGB. Got to win that game and in that situation we see you back call it was a bad call. Maybe just get. One technical. Just one but just not overeat but just to go crazy in that situation and allow them to get back in the game. It's that they just went too far that they gave that game away and we've said that about the Celtics. A few times this year at home that they've given away given away some games and let's let's be clear here okay. I do not believe. That officials are on the take okay. I don't believe things are rigged I don't believe that that you know they go into with a pre disposed notion of this team is gonna -- are we gotta let this team back in the game despite all the Tim -- -- Assertions and allegations I don't believe that. I think they're nights when they're just awful. And -- last night was one of those nights where I thought the officiating was horrible you know overall -- bitching and moaning Tommy did I was sitting on my couch agreeing with. You know you know who's -- best. Danny -- -- awhile ago he was on the big show. As he is regularly. And they were asking him about officials. It's a space that a -- for some guys. Some guys just have accused. As he got about three officials on the floor or two officials on the floor is a game necessarily better with three really. That some guys. They just nowhere to be they know where to look they have a gift for appreciating just as some guys have a gift for shooting a basketball or throwing a football. Or shooting the -- That some guys don't. And he was very diplomatic ways that it but it is clear and -- Vicky at the nail on the head and you can talk about. The commissioner or anybody else reviewing these guys and holding them accountable and making sure. If they know the MBA waltzed -- for this in the song wanna call the game. If you don't have a gift for it. You might be able to get marginally better. But. -- the and the performance is probably not gonna improve dramatically. And you could say it's pro basketball and they should have all gifted officials but that's not reality they don't. And I I've always wondered and he you know you talk but the insider books that you've been so great patent in this -- -- a ball but it would be at an interesting insider. NB ATV piece that like to say. I'd like to see inside one of those sessions where they're going over via videotape with the officials we are all. That they go over every game with the officials rent that that they go over the videotape and they and they'll stop the tape and say okay what we call on here what did you see here. Why did you call this -- I'm cynical enough to believe that they don't really do. That they want us to believe that they do that that they want us to believe that there's this this minute by minute game by game. Checking and balancing of of how officials work. I don't believe it. Because I've never heard of an official being reprimanded I've never heard of an official being find I've never heard of an official being suspended. Might I guess my believe it's like the old days of Major League Baseball. I didn't get called wrong but even if I got the call wrong I got it right you know. I get the sense that's what the NBA is like now I don't know I don't know they because the officials. Are under the thumb of the league office that. They're not powerful enough to set the agenda. Where I you know I still wonder about Major League Baseball some of these clicks some of these crews. I -- they think they're of the game I know these officials very few officials think -- of the game and they know can be taken away from them. NBA officials have been fired if unceremoniously. Not a big deal. Major League Baseball it's like you when a fire some of these guys got to go through -- 125 court cases. I don't want fire on it and I wanna fire it why not I I -- what happened when I why don't yet know I I'm I I at the point I'm making here is. Give credit where credit is -- the NFL has come out and said you know what. This officiating crew got this wrong. This call was wrong you know they they should they should have done this they should have done that have you ever heard anybody. Associated with the NBA ever say. Now that they were wrong yes the only time I've ever heard anything like that is when they take away tax. And they never talked about the official who gave the attack they just say Rasheed Wallace's that is technical file on up on November 12 rescinded. Arctic the last time the last big case actor remember. Was the was the playoff game. In San Antonio. We Joey Crawford was -- a game. Was preparing. One of the berries are 500 -- it relics solders and -- all the Berry's mother -- was taken -- shot. He was fouled. There is no call he's -- Derek Fisher. And it was big. Yes when it was lakers spurs he was found is no call than they came out later that should have been it was a it was and -- -- incorrect no call. Are are we to believe that that's the only incorrect call the -- in the NB don't know last X -- -- -- -- is that -- maybe maybe -- exaggerating a little bit. Not a lot I don't I don't think they I don't think big a lot of their way to say. You know what the officiating crew in this game made a couple of mistakes they did this they did that I mean come. You know it's like that. Babies like that commercial mode it's a commercial for some beer after a sponsor that they're not a sponsor I'm not gonna shot up their name they are on terms aren't I'm forgetting. Who you are -- is too light into heavy they give you examples. This is -- and beer sponsor in any event to which one which means they're not doing very good to go rushing here or -- to have such a good job. I'm forgetting that it's you know but like I predict it Bud Light I think it's Bud Light are -- -- so -- to light. Is probably. The way the MBA get deals with its officials. And I did you know really get the sense that I know there -- under the thumb. Which don't get the sense that the Hammer's coming down you'll get the sense these guys are just are trying to get it right of the cast their living in fear of what's gonna come. From the league office to have -- NFL. Where they can say to those guys are part timer keeps up next lawyer that that's a college professor the next -- the next ditch digger. Poor play to what effect I haven't got a buffalo game the buffalo some day one I have merit 1230. TI think the. Problem though in in Major League Baseball always felt this was the case. In in the NBA and the NHL the problem is if they admit that a mistake has been may. Then they think the public perception of that official or that refereed where that umpire is our east sucks. I mean it you know he they said he got that call wrong a week ago so I know this called -- look at that right now is wrong. And they're so afraid of the public perception of these guys. I think they've bent over backwards to protect their image. We don't hear about it look I I'm totally convinced the NBA doesn't even do that game by game video assessment that you're conspiracy Carter well don't -- -- I was conspiracy -- I think the games were raped your number I cannot I don't know how I'm not I'm not I I don't believe the games are -- I don't believe these guys are on the take despite him -- -- you know fall from grace. I just think that there are times when there are inept and there are other times. When their human. And that Doc Rivers he he has danced on my last nerve appear tonight. In my you know I I I I truly think that there's there's a little vindictive. This time I watch him I can understand -- -- -- problem. It's -- and I I I actually could live with I mean that's that's what's gonna happen the bodies just in its its more. It's probably more prevalent and in basketball. And baseball. That it isn't hockey and football. Etiquette here. And I in the NBA in off Joey Crawford's walk in six inches away from Doc Rivers and he can hear him. In in in well in Major League Baseball. You wanna about the bench jockeying because there are times when they'll throw somebody out as I -- and they're not even sure cool what. -- said it -- it more prevalent and in baseball basketball but upon hockey. You don't necessarily hear these guys. An official you can use your lawn -- Julianne and knowledge that they do that okay. -- open but in Oregon here and answer. Screaming in these guys are helmet on guys guys doing their thing and I think -- up and over there I'm not sure. But that's up everything about the game I think it's a one again another absolutely they have over Johnson just killed as they have. You know they've they've given away too many games this is a giveaway in my opinion. The Philadelphia game still annoys me is they just got -- with Philadelphia. And they gave that went away and it. Orlando at home necessarily give away but it was just. Repeating the same mistakes over and over I think that was the game where -- -- took about maybe 753 point shots and what the -- -- and they kept giving him the ball. -- but down opposed. Post up a little bit if you wanna see the ball if not I'm I'm I'm -- and elsewhere. Yeah that was where one of the points Tommy was harping on last night. In a win win pierce had a mismatch with Crawford he kept saying he -- appears you gotta go to pierce and all of a sudden you'd see you know perk shooting -- big baby shooting. Maybe took a shot from the elbow that that ranked. And you know and and it was immediately after Tommy sand eat this is the mismatch you wanna exploit. Go to pierce he's got the mismatch and innate you know maybe takes a shot from the elbow and there are times when they don't play as intelligently as they shouldn't last night was one of. -- they're good to Atlanta as a good team but despite that got an -- that team off last night on -- has now three you know against the Celtics and you gotta give him credit because the Celtics don't play well against his team for the most part you look at their numbers against Atlanta especially. Three point shooting against the -- Not very good and the hawks. Not only have the hawks grown up but they've added some pieces that are that are very impressive in and -- Jamal Crawford. The -- number one on my list for additions to this team that they didn't have before lesson -- old Celtics in the playoffs. About the Celtics swept the hawks last year out in a regular season. At minimal to be on the verge of on the verge didn't swept the regular season I heard a cut from Kendrick after the game and and Kendrick said you know they consider us their rivals. But we just don't consider them our arrival on I guess that deal Kendrick Kendrick better wake up if that's true I give it if if he truly explain away why they were so. The hawks were so passionate about the game. May be as compared to the Celtics. We better wake up -- his death they they definitely think of you was there arrive well. Maybe the Celtics don't consider them as rivals like they would say the lakers or Orlando or Cleveland. But they don't like -- the -- that counts for something they don't like -- you don't wanna lose to a nobody here all of those. Those young jumps Sharpton about beaten the Celtics. So -- may be rivalry is not the word but is the -- down the street that you don't like. After the Atlanta Hawks are.
