It's -- doing a lot better as well of the data we knew what it has always been an annual rate of -- and around. And you were able to finish this game which obviously the you've got to be pleased with what you saw in the in the second. They look a little bit like coming out of the beginning of that game.

No not really but we played you know put pretty well defensively and you know we just miss some plays on offense better chances there and then convert a third downs and missed double plays -- But in on and they don't lose black effort -- Justin. Just -- Escude as -- as we needed to -- finishing game was really good. You know we went out there and in the two minute situation defensively and and -- made made stops there at the ball back now offensively we ran the clock down. You know Ronald ball which was good -- lead. We practice that we talked about the whole week and not -- with the situation -- in the game that you know we're where every continent and how to play and I thought that those analysts by minutes the game was. Was a pretty well executed. So those good.

As you can well imagine we have spent the first three hours of today show with people talking about Randy Moss. Were you surprised then and that you get a couple of players on the other team Chris Campbell comes out he starts talking about. Howell moss was quitting during the course of the game on the you react to what other players are actually saying that.

Now they guard had a comment on -- and it's pretty amazing it does one of the most productive players in the history Italy. But they ultimately he'll also show that if you get into a morally they watch films that I ever had few of that of films that Randy. Is bill will be shut down by gotten -- memo what do what how to while they put it but he said. But watching film to suit get into and particularly. On the take among again in Miami and well not too long.

Looks as you can -- really matters what with the coach and what his teammates think about this a lot of support today with a lot of it is that teammates out there. In one catch in the game that happened at the a fumble as well. Looking at yesterday's game did not seem. Like it was the same Randy Moss which in and I agree with his guys but a marvelous player in the three is almost three years he's been here did you have a problem with his performance yesterday.

Well I think that that you know everyone of us out there every coach every player every offensive player you know there's always room for improvements Obama gonna say than anybody. That perfect -- out -- me included. And that's -- as every week so. You know we can look at especially in any skill player you can look at anyone of them find it that the men have extensively in and so you know. What happened in -- and -- we can do that every week and every team so. I'm not really. I don't think that's what's important what's importance we want and we put on after one that we make mistakes and again sure. And we need to improve on things absolutely and that's -- work on this week we're satisfied with -- effort. There's people question his effort we are satisfied with the grand is that a good football or four since his banner.

Is he frustrated -- with. Not being. As numerically a yield statistically a big part of office -- point. Want overseers analysts I don't know six them told viewers and thirteenth until reception that to a but. But is there a frustration enemies had delivered twelve character in the last 45 game. I think our team wants to win and I think everybody I think everybody wants to win and we didn't win the two weeks prior to this one and we won yesterday. You know as a team they're good enough to win them I think in over a feel good about it but it's not about -- and individuals that's. For any player now. How much is this do you think. Because you've talked about this many times before the team was gonna take away something we're gonna work on something else. How much of this is perception out there and you've got Wes walker right now will apparently is finding. Some openings. And catching. A lot of balls that people looking at the comparison to that part of but the thing. That to a -- of the perception right now is that Brady's not doing this because let's face it Wes -- right now as you know you're leading receiver and he's on. Current pace right now four for a 150. Years something like that catches during the course.

There are -- those perception talking about I mean what's the -- listen let's say that. You know they do a lot -- in pass defense. Because a ran into violence and of those guys get a lot of a says that a lot of coverage that's policy and and we saw that again yesterday. How -- hit stop well so amicable -- wide open. And they'll play in the when the patriots when when your main objective is shut Randi don't obviously in the -- western. -- Well I just think by the nature of the position you know we've we've seen slot receivers around here before we've -- some good ones. That the nature of that position and it is one that has more variety in their routes more options. And and different things you can do and that's. And don't at least some more -- probably less yards per catch generally speaking. But more you know more more opportunities to. To work different types of routes from you know a position that gives you more space to work just an interest on its amazing first -- syndicate -- to where he got hit yesterday just. Bounce out of -- country resist it was incredible bounce up and then to be that proficient in the next 45 passes thrown to pretty remarkable. You know you're not gonna get their that but it's good defense and etiquette so you pick -- down and Adams -- and I had so much for him prior. Well it's because he was on the practice and was this activated -- But I am I have a camera and film. Overall public that a seldom is -- is tough to rotate offensive -- in and out there's there's often as you have the last couple weeks because of injuries -- things that. Get a tougher and tougher to get a feel for the quarterback who can be do we want. When it's not the same five guys at their -- time. Well I mean I think ideally you'd you'd like to have. You know a lot of this you know quarterback and receivers and offensive linemen and linebackers -- DP you know you'd like as much -- is possible but ominously that anybody. You know has that ideally you know you. Everybody's got to make change somewhere along on sooner or later discover nature so as met those guys work together they rotate in their practice. You know -- an offensive line when you only take seven -- for the game. At two guys back in a five spot so he kind of have to rotate and through and their practice and the bills with an amateur. How many plays in practice actually at first group -- really takes just. Together and you know where there's somebody rotation and for somebody because you can't. -- eat in the gotta you gotta move you know -- most people around over the course of practice the government all the different spot so. For the most part there's usually you know somebody in the rotation. As Matt -- more. The game condition. Here and -- look you've grown to deceive them solidify themselves left and right keep rebel war right and community seems like a talented -- a big men can move like that. And where you get somebody good for real so a wonderful Matt Light it's better -- Ballmer gets better. That you could see that. Solidified him two tackles more more than and rotating in the Alicea echoes. Fred I think that you know all of our tackles have a chance to play over the last couple years Sebastian. Mark of war course Americans and that and and those well played a lot of room at the -- played well. You know I think we're pretty fortunate there that we we've. In opening a pollute the have different tackles play and still play well and and actually have flexibility to play on either side so you know going forward will continue to. You know were -- hopefully it'll be healthy and -- but if they're not then -- play the ones that are ready and alternately with the competition play -- on -- turnovers obviously were an issue and that game yesterday ultimately they didn't. Make the difference is just a one game and I was very fortunate it say about 9095%. Of the time when your minus three on turnovers the -- you know gonna win so we run that. 5%. And we don't wanna be there again I mean that the odds are just I don't know whether it's and we we need to take better care of the ball. -- we did and the same time we -- chances on the fences to get the turnovers we had a handle several polls and -- with them and so. On the outside who we gonna do better job of intercept and passes and force and fumbles and and create turnovers so. In those two go hand in hand we we have to protect overall -- no doubt about that you're gonna look at that down. When when the defendant to up the volume -- a look like here's tolls on the line we get degree angle to get to see you later on in an off films -- its -- was on. Well you -- it's on the coaching films but you know we at a really get a good look at the play but. You know we thought based on the reviews that we saw all after the play you know lose it at the end. Just change your possessions of those that TV time now it's election time there was sullen and and you know does look and a thought the disposal line it was particles and and of course call cited that that wasn't so and.

It's one of those things you brought this up close and you brought this up before about having a camera right on that line. And that would make a difference and that's I think the biggest problem when you're trying to figure that one out with a camera angle certainly that they show and I'm sure you officials looking at the the same camera angles. They're they're offset. So how do you tell. I mean it's not three dimensional it's offset that you you brought this upcoming years ago or analyzed or right on the sidelines going up on the sidelines. Ticket at a much much better angle there.

Yeah again one of the biggest problems. As a coach when you challenges is you don't really know what. Well look you're gonna get the play and sometimes. Sometimes you look at the play and say -- here's what I saw but then do you have that camera angle and you never know where the camera -- going to be but I I I've said this as you mentioned Oakland for years and I do believe that that I think. If there was some consistency and there was a camera on the sideline and that was a camera on the goal line that was a camera on and line. -- when those plays are challenged if it was challenged and that those with the challenges at least you would know the you have a a camera on that line. But right now you're just at the mercy of which whatever TV shots happen to be taken those of the ones that the officials look at. And the camera could be anywhere. And like what happened in the Denver playoff game and no. It's five Watson on the Watson play was -- all the cameras were down at the other end of the field where we were offensively and then. When. You know when Bailey ran the ball back and Watson knocked them out there right by the goal line there was no cameras at that in the field it'll move down to the other -- So. I don't know you know -- that's been brought up for the competition committee couple times and what it is essential that seems like they're reluctant to do that I don't know that they would have to spend money on a camera or something but again must be. I know every stadium must have a thousand security cameras and there you know of the film everything else on why. You know would be so hard to get on Obama on the you know critical places on the field where you wanna challenges but. You know again that's that's just the way the rules are so we'll go live with -- and it's it's just not an excuse I just think. We'll be better for the game -- if we had that just like in other way to change -- this year is. You know the officials don't don't ever blow the ball they just let it go in and then and I noticed -- us here. Yeah nice scoop it up in the you know we've had a double plays this year on. You know plays that were clearly an incomplete pass him online I mean I don't think -- be close. We're both not blown dead and they were picked up and returned for touchdowns. And then the other team had a challenge on to get the plays overturned even though. It was pretty obvious that those plays work. They they were distinctly passes that were fumbles but. You know so that the mechanics of the officiating and and how they how they rule on those plays now businesses come and gone the other direction at sort of let everything go. And then if you don't like it you can challenges. Rather than you know make -- call down and you know here's the way we see it.

has these little tiny cameras they use. A round. Whole plight for me actually use them. Meant that they use you know yeah its exports to the podcast the national ruckus. That's why they couldn't put something like that along. The the goal line makes no sense for it I can't believe the cost based on the national football and the cost would mean you know. Certainly a lot more. -- That was gonna go on for. Implement in my mind because that would audience -- rewrite that to withdraw all -- hurts somebody -- Ultimately it's I mean his camera the camera. We're in this -- we'll -- you think -- what happened that was called. Correctly. You get the -- as -- Know what to write -- about that camera would eliminate. Now.

But -- a minute I got don't think the issue really is the helper heard any team I think to me the big issue is when you challenge a play. To just. No okay. It's on the middle of field it's an Apollo players was that guy down was knocked down while I think we all understand. Hey may be there's not a good look at that place you know we don't know what them you know it's a tough place. Who knows -- knees down or not there's as the pile bodies and if you really got a good shot you concede it. Great if he can't -- the -- gonna stand like we all understand that. But you know on the guy gets -- on the back Libyans on that he -- down that he not the -- possession that in on its close call. And we know at those and zone and goal line plays and sideline plays -- so many -- replace. -- around. And and really it's an easy thing it's a straight line so let's just take a look at but. The league doesn't really seem to wanna do it because it's it's been brought up numerous times and.

There's just no. No real support for so and so noticeably over the way news that disappointment -- We brought this up last week and actually had a situation yesterday were apparently I would think it came into play you were talking about weather conditions last week. Yesterday we had a situation where first half of the game good portion of the first half of the game. It was clear second half suddenly you've got rain and it suddenly develops in the fairly. I would say continuous rain after awhile drifted changeup what you did to pull everything back on the playbook did you -- more conservative.

No not I don't think it affected any any of the place I think it just that affects the actual ball handling it in the actual execution on the place. I didn't think the rain or or the win was strong enough to affect really much anything that game. You know may be on Casey's field goal. All the little bit but. You know his long I think it's. But 5150. This year anyway. And I think those 53 -- you know and it was sort by a couple your tomatoes right there on the -- with that and surprising that -- in short. I I don't think the conditions were. You know the cold the wind and the rain any -- those are strong enough to that the change anything you don't. But I think you just have to concentrate a little bit more about the plan on what's surfaced on your feet on the you know him on the ball more securely grip and -- for the quarterback the kickers you know those kind of things the returners. I think yet -- take that in consideration and I don't think it changed and that.

just your decision on the field goal with your field goal kicker based on what you saw before the game what he was able to kick. And then now suddenly new weather conditions -- heavier ball.

Yet media heavier well and and as it gets colder you know I think we could see the ball wasn't fly and as far remain. You know percentage of make and it factors in you know on on all those kicks until you get the last one in the last one assist in -- distance. I -- hoping and a fairway.

Three into the division in -- really wanna be -- so it's a big win big opportunity forced you know to get a win here on the road we have done that we need to do. I tell us about Ryan it's the Fitzpatrick apparently couldn't get into northeastern well yeah. She rejected him I don't know like one thing we we know he can run. You know he's fest that played against Miami worry you know we just ran out Simon went thirty -- and silent lines very. Good runner and and he can throw deep you know he's looks for TOU and we had a 97. Neat whatever was yarder against Jacksonville. You know toss it up against the dolphins. You know it's a very good pastor of big play receivers with -- With the TO and and know Lee Evans and and -- great backs in -- Jackson and Marshawn Lynch those guys are very. You know Owens and Evans on on deep balls and you could see a lot times where they they get single coverage out there and then and that's a check to. You know go pattern which is what -- Miami game -- you know at the end again at three point lead whatever was comfortable back and he saw single coverage he checked out of I think it was a run they had called and and his you know also their -- for a you know fifty yard touchdown so. They're not. I think when they get those matchups that they like and they wanted to atone and that's that's a little more than what they did the past.

Aaron Schobel. He -- advocates against the patriots over the years in the historic custom fit back there. For Brady a ticket you'll have both light and you probably see some level or that side.

Well he -- got to move around a little bit most of the time a lot of far left but you know they have a very active front and and they put good pressure on the quarterback and and of course -- only lead league in interceptions with 25. So. In at some of those -- placement defensive backs Omar because of pressure and quarterback you get hit as is the wrong ball or. -- trying to throw it to you know before they hit them so that they do as good a good job that their linebackers are -- room. Our active -- on well -- like the a little bit like the Carolina linebackers in the world and linebackers and other faster is that. And they got quite as big but the cover more ground than a little more Lamar range and that's a little bigger more physical guys that we played in so. You know defensively they. They've done a good job in the passing game and and that rush however -- on the blitz. You're basically -- an accident there in an accident then they they play some man a man and they also put some bullets on. And they and they play the regulars on coverage and so. They they mix it up on in and certainly if the the -- on the severe problems and know that you'll see more of it. -- some games and the pressure more than others and some on is that when one man of the moment. They -- on its work in your currency.

We get this question all the time in the -- she about it last week about the tight ends and get the tide is involved in the office and you do get them involved obviously in the office this past Sunday. A concerted effort to do that or was that's what they gave -- and that's --

Well -- on on the we you know on the on the long passed to ban the interference of those who snaps up on linebackers Aaron Anderson sent them on that a sideline route. That he caught over there come over putted from harm and so you know those matchups of them on linebacker. -- that's that's where Tom months ago and and that he and we west on linebackers and then that's where wanna go and so. You know dependent on the route and and the matchup but. On the comments on confidence and nose and in all the receivers really and in he'll throw the whoever's open at the best -- This despite fourteen -- in the last for the ticket reform or couple plays here and and immediately before -- how I was throw owns. Back on well this we know since Fitzpatrick over. What think he's become I mean we know he's been a big play receiver but I I think that he's become more that they play god just because they look for a more and and we had you know another touchdown last week against Kansas City -- Obama's plan on crossing route. They don't really keep their player to away from when in the open so. -- at several games where it's it's been played or where they get the ball in the last possession down by three down by six and and and it lost couple tough games that way too so. You know I think this is the team that's that they're always competitive week you know. We had a tough time with them over their last year -- a tough time with them in the opener and and surely telephone summit specialties have always been -- from which specialties were -- guys there's still that level absolutely good good in the return game good kickers good specialists know Mormon than. Those guys can change field position on the cover well there you know they're well coached they're gonna. They have a good a lot of confidence and that and then they continue to make plays with a counselor. In an individual is crazy every year there could it's it's just amazing and McIntyre -- we -- mostly use well you know good specialist that in a -- of good. You know get a grip on area if kicker you're good returner -- snapper you you know you've got those. Those players that are good. Then that's in a year. The year but good ways the year over year in the right direction -- because that's why -- specialist in one place and it's gone. Well you know course the more you have the better but it's. You know but it starts with you know with -- course specialists and then guys that you know that -- acute that part of it well then. There's like yesterday you know we we make those two long field goals and and it makes a big difference in the game in Ireland and without a good kicker good you know holder and snapper and you know on the got a good protection I understand that the you know that the specials don't know if they perform well then you probably going to be okay if they don't -- it's impossible. To be good kicking game its missiles.

tell -- special teams we've got Wes walker whom most prolific receiver -- right now returning punts and doing a pretty good job and he's concerned their vote to vote. Or burning their Wes walker -- with those students. Well I think it's in all our opportunity get along with his hands and then. You know Wes is look we're trying to went and and -- so when Mort wants those you know -- competitiveness as he is he's he's just the -- better herself. And -- in loans and we we don't break along return it to be the play that. That makes the difference at this time a year you know we only get three games left in the got to put everything you can and -- one -- Much emphasis do you put you mentioned already haven't won a road game certainly in this country. There -- a much emphasis do you put on it. With this team using that -- your goal this week not only to win this game but you know we got to finally do -- of -- Well it would.

Talk about all year we talk about every year I mean we know you can't go wait hey you know went home games and lose the road incidents. That they'll never get to where you wanna go. You know -- do you take pride in playing at home we always want to do well -- and we have this year and for those are we have through the years we've we've won a lot of games here. Votes it's equally important win on the road and and you know that's just the mentality. When you go on the road Porsche to deal with you know a different environment crowd noise and all -- You know it's definitely a you know us against everybody. Deal you know there's not a lot of fans on the road and personal support and you gotta generate that that energy yourself and then be able to.
