AT&T your world delivered good morning Tom. -- Hey as the guys experience so much success is it harder for you to swallow wait two game losing streak that it is for somebody who's been. In an organization we're losing a sort of part of the package of you know what I mean.

Yeah well. We've we haven't had many many. Now losses. Like we had this year in terms of no gains that we really were competitive in the second half they just did find a way to win and fourth -- You know everyone is. You know -- it's frustrating for everybody in you know on plane flight back in the -- right back at one. Obviously is. You know very disappointed. You know you. We've we go to these it -- lot of confidence in and and we're just we are doing a good thing over the course the game to win so. You know come back to draw important and and the little one game lead division. And -- we love playing a better in this -- That's what it's about at this time.

Not if you could have just one duel over from yesterday's game would be the second quarter fourth and one play call where Sammy got stuffed. Would be the interception by Davis in the fourth quarter when you're trying to go to Randy ordered the fourth quarter game -- interception by -- crowd which one guy at night.

Can I -- one because I'm gonna guess this is the one that the overthrow of -- by about a -- Down the left or even a foot left a six inch heels and trying to make of it which one to think about double sleepless night.

You know probably all of -- probably it's hard to cute I mean they're all critical point in the game and that you would yours look back on plays like that they're critical points and and yeah I'm in all of them were were obviously. No point. Potential. Potential put out potential Google's. That we put points on the board. Or bootable -- did evoke that feel we're just in the and in the end zone I think that's. That's kind of where it. It's kinda -- and ratepayers is again about one point outscored the other team. Back in the ball in the end zone. Prefer street.

You have a theory. As to why you guys average eighteen point three points in the first half only nine in the second half all season long. Armed.

I'm not sure that's that's that's a great question and and I wish I wish that you have a better idea myself. You know we're doing where you're right we we we -- do you know pretty good first and the second half -- and the situation played a little bit situation for all the becomes evident. -- placed -- adult ladies. Third down plays in the red area. We just haven't found the right ability yet tubular excuse -- situations where it. You know I we we do -- practice and I know we we make the plays and practiced pretty sites -- that are confident that there would it's just a matter. Get the job that would that when it matters.

And it looks like you're gonna have one of those games from like 07 we just everything goes right. And it doesn't happen that way everything changes there 63 last fifteen. Can you tell us you know from just a football perspective x.s and -- perspective what changed what what did they do differently. Why did it go. What do change so dramatically for you.

I'm I'm not sure I really don't know Jerry -- idea. -- that we had a good first half we excuse well. We've made that we made the plays. The throws and catches. It -- the good -- the first half vote decent first outlook is due to fourteen point oh molecular. We scored 42 -- but first. You know we had a we have a third down play where we got stopped short by four inches of -- felt that -- The second half we came out make -- great place to start second half. Now what could -- scored a couple three and outs in the second half were not accuse senator overtly by. A little bit infected -- a great impact on the -- But the interceptions and so that that really hurt obviously. So you know those plays are -- those frozen -- we probably win the game at applicants down.

And when you set after the game and we don't fight hard enough for we don't we don't put up enough for a fight. What do you mean by that do you mean just you talk about the whole team just in general or is it specific plays that you guys you feel. You and your teammates aren't fighting hard enough on.

Well -- right there are -- for ten years and has a lot of players and -- and it it starts. On Monday in our preparation it starts on Wednesday through. -- five hours in the walk -- that we do in practice and film study in. I think that's that's. When it gets hard that's when you gotta dig deep and at times we do that. And you know and and and other times it's it's not that it it doesn't show up. And we've all got to do better job of that vote -- ought to put more work in a more time -- more commitment to each other. -- it's it's a different team we've you know we've got a lot of new players and I would try and -- the court this -- learn children learn. Think we do well one thing we don't do so well and that takes. A lot of commitment and you -- That I have a lot of confidence that a lot of confidence that we we do play tough and we do the physical we do it more. It's just -- don't think it's a coach would say that the bulk of the -- that the basis.

It's -- when Randy goes away for the final three quarters of the game I suspect the part of that is something that the defense is doing but as part of that. Something that -- Andy's doing.

Normally you definitely want to be a part of the game it's it's sometimes it's it's back at the last week but I'm -- get the ball and the others when it really focus on him. You know it's hard it's hard you don't want a -- fire aboard double covered all the time. Especially at some like west to. It is able to work did that part of it which did a great job yesterday in -- really good place you go to touchdown play they keep it -- that covered that. But safety is on -- Like basically get over it operated so at a pro ball. Just don't have much up to complete all -- to get opportunities and make the plays and other times they duke it out of folks on him. And perhaps we can get the ball that got it.

Was it single coverage on Randy to your left -- forget when it was in the game when I think you at a screen right set up to more us everybody's ready to do that. Looks like you saw a single on Randy went to -- woman who was like he was expecting it is is that accurate.

Yeah yep I'm -- week we. Yet that's just one of those plays where. -- try to get the ball and innovative it'd -- just the -- that place.

what's so tough about Miami. Going -- Miami what -- it's so hard. You whether they're winning losing whether -- great team with a whatever you guys have trouble down that line.

It's sort of like they've told a game we vote at -- that's ever been. They're easy except for her I guess. A seven and took -- tool that. I don't know you know every every honestly every game it's tough when you play like a -- that there's no easy games we played like we play this. Not a very. Consistently good football. At our markets that we should -- of the really good thing an excuse well be on the same page and plane's -- penalty free and our roads aren't we don't and that -- get. It's -- what -- between the first after the fact after excuse. It's doing well for sixteen and and now market that we coach Belichick as they can tell his frustration with the you know that he sees the good things but it's extremely that -- as well.

W got for winning three Super -- there was a swagger and an aura of invincibility when you guys walked out on the field. I'd I guess to some extent that there has gone away -- it was it of value to you when you had it beat you miss it now that has gone.

We're going to appreciate winning and hit. It it's too hard two win these games overall. -- have to -- winning winning games that's first musical notes sixteen last year. And it's not easy to do which 75 but obviously it's not where. We we wanted to be at this point we're still. And the division. No we still a lot of football ahead of a we can make some of these changes and play a little bit better in key situations when they work with games like pollute the you know you think of those of those -- back we went through all really good. I know defensively is not not your thing and in quarterbacks serve you know not -- out wanted to talk too much about defense. But it overall kind of looking at this team given the departure of Harrison Bruschi Vrabel and Seymour. Is this a rebuilding year Tom and nobody will say that down there.

I don't think we approach -- certainly don't think we've ever approached like that. Every year -- get older retired guys come free agents and move on the that you treated so great those were great players for an error. They are great players they were they were guys who will winners in and made those plays in the situation. How many plays and running -- of course it's clear critical moments in Tedy Bruschi Richard Seymour. Now they're great players but they move on we have in -- new identity. What -- to -- architect there and make those plays offensively defensively in the kicking game that. It's certainly I don't focus on what I need to do better and but by no means I've put perfect in doubt there -- so. I just gotta keep folks about what to do. And of course they're playing good quarterback and I can put it in the best position to win.

You think as a whole do you think the team misses there their leadership necessary leadership boy were all those guys are much of those guys leaving at the same time.

Yet having their great -- there's no question it's. -- would replace all those years of experience and winning. It with guys that hadn't been of those so. -- you missed in this boasting and in other ways. You know those players that come to the team they had a different type of quality that it's so. There's -- run one run error and then there's notebook to start float around everywhere. -- 32 of those in the leaders one guy and that's why it's such a great player. Ty law and Willie McGinest and Ted Johnson and moment Pfeiffer. Obviously Richard label as well like. Every credible players well like yeah. You went to -- without great players and great coaching. We get great coaching has some. Some players now that are really. -- like I like it can really start is make a great place for a offered were guys that we'll be looking at. Apart the received truly hear what you're playing a much. We sort probable that the threat and so those are -- there really stepped up and become good player and and we need anymore of those --

we broached this particular subject with you probably six or seven times in the last six or seven weeks. Yeah and then and then as a great player then as a great player for a second and I think that he you've got Wes Welker and moss and Kevin Faulk and war zone and then it. He can make plays and number one football and I'm trying to get the ball would then when when -- the opportunity. And then that a lot of great place for us this year so. You're right that's that the guy that we got to get the ball is a great playmaker for a I gotta find a way to get it according. When we do or throw it didn't happen and he is you know very talented player mark. But it's it's just a matter finds -- the right match -- with the right play called that and and in that people think that each.

So teams play defense a little bit differently now that they did in 2007. I think a lot of ways over the new offense that was in new product a lot of people off -- to know people -- have figured out. No but it just makes it harder for now but but we you know often thought -- waste of -- kind of stay ahead after that but he and you know it's like if it's not that. Yes certainly in and you know its -- Ultimately come down to the players on the field plays and they. When he called run play -- what went wrong place -- you definitely make work. And now come down. That's doing a good job on the field and our coach is don't put them in a position. Not succeed where. And you're right when when opportunities come -- No frost can make the plays with with the play called for what they end up playing his you know. You know when you open up from the sideline you don't. You're of the deep -- again in the electrical plays that are good for that these so it is the responsibility of the quarterback at times. Pitcher out at a certain play again. Did you another place that that are better so. Has something to do a better job that the -- So now there are complete -- when the ball snapped that would. In a good position and play I'll I'll -- I quite take a lot of pride that you know we don't that the ball with a bat look bad defense against. -- applicable.
