You know the -- normally on Fridays at this time we talked. The National Football League with -- everybody Peter King from. Outside Sports Illustrated SI dot com and NBC sports over the holiday weekend. Peter has very graciously moved it up a couple of days he joins us right now brought -- you by Fred seat -- insurance. The have a mayor Ronnie Europe funny man I don't I'm not I don't -- that. Out of Seattle for a couple of days visiting my daughter. So what -- Thanksgiving out here a second consecutive year.

I like that story a lot -- we were guessing we were were saying you know we don't know why -- in Seattle it's probably because. He -- Jim Mora as the next great coach and Seahawks are doing some things that we don't see now but it will be a parent two years. And really wants -- every daughters there.

I'm I'm not I'm not really sure right I see any of that quite honestly it's. What schools will see I'm gonna stop over there a little bit later today. Our if you people's -- think.

Let's start with the the Monday night match up that everybody else is talking about because you've got an undefeated team that. The Bill Belichick says doesn't have any weaknesses at least offensively. Against Tom Brady how do you look at this game on Monday night.

Except in the interest in game because. You know I I would agree with bill one that's on that. Everybody everybody sort of looks at the the saints. And in essence that. You know leader agrees. Your anger breed centric. And it and they error you know they throw the ball all over the place and all that but. Mean this is clearly one of the best rushing teams in football they've been in the top five in the unit almost a year in being able to run. And you know to me pay it if you'd you know the way they've been alternating. You know Pierre Thomas and bill and bush. I mean I guess I'd look predicting that can be so many things so well we haven't even talked about. The fact that they've got about six guys in their passing game. Now that breezes incorporated. You know the old old patriot David Palmer. Into a lot of what they do. It's I mean it's really a particular point in seen. Team in in New Orleans and I think it's going to be really tough going into the and then Monday despite its proper everybody.

You know Peter I always think athletes. Should get to get the bulk of the credit. For whatever happens on the field over the court or the ice but with all that said. Are really want to talk about. What you see in Sean Payton because I made the case to DL yesterday. That he has become to offense. What would Bill Belichick. Was for defense is I just think he is a brilliant pockets of mine and a very clever. Designer plays. Yeah you know Sean -- very well what do you think of what he's done as an office to play caller.

I think that there's a couple of things Michael I think they they've got an extremely smart. Offensive staff. OK and -- guy of that -- nobody's ever heard of -- named Erin chrome. And Eric -- her -- cents. Is. Is kind of a up forming and John -- he. He coached under gruden both in Oakland and Tampa Bay. And you'll -- it gruden had that he eat just he just couldn't. He couldn't believe that a head coach would have time -- business is one of the things that. -- and such and nut job and I think one of the reasons why. He's gonna take some time off for coaching because it's just so upset that John gruden used to watch every play in the NFL every week. And the reason -- keep -- that he was when he was coaching his team. And buried -- this is because you want to steal stuff from other teams made no bones about it internally incur armored exactly the same why. He brings stuff to the table for Sean Peyton Manning says stated support -- pupils do an American game in Washington. You know this is what the jets are doing and that look at what might mark it last week in Atlanta. And often. Very often. Well I put Roethlisberger in the air too because it's you know. He won two Super Bowl such young -- that he is done and that Brady is done and you're as good then and is accurate. As Roethlisberger. Become. I mean the way I would rank them right now would mean 182. And and I probably have a dead heat with -- Roethlisberger three. And you -- our. Is it kind of freak thing I don't I don't really know what to do with him right now I would pick in the quarterback soaked day. He's got at worst to beat number five. But in you know who knows he might even be number three I mean nearly creepiest thing about far. And how hard it is Monday Morning Quarterback this week. If you average. Were.

3M VP seasons. 9596. And 97. This year. He's far more accurate like 8% more accurate. He's -- to -- for almost as many yards. And -- know have the best touchdown to interception ratio he's ever had. So. Yeah I mean look I mean we we know revenues and in the I know that what and an MVP question but. It's hard to look at the year that far this happy in this say that if he keeps this up. You should beat. Not only legitimate candidate for MVP but maybe the leading candidate for MVP because. It'll be the best -- ever -- And and you call eight 13 of these things so they're they're they're you know what there's a lot of quarterbacks haven't figured that you're I think that's the bottom line.

You know Peter I hate this is full disclosure I hate it when people talk about. And it team go undefeated. You know nine weeks into the season ten weeks into the season I hated it in 2007. And the patriots were involved but with all that said. Do you think either the culture of the saints are gonna go undefeated this year.

Well. -- in. And if I mean you know there's only six weeks left. So clearly I think that they've got a chance property of the two things that would mitigate against both I think the saints have a better chance. That the colts even though. The one and have this this year that is the top this one that either one of them pat is saying this weekend against patriots. Com. However. I think that that the Indianapolis Colts. If they clinch home field. If you're if you're fourteen now and they've got home field clinched. I mean Tony Dungy told me this at that football night and we sit their talking about and -- and it called global -- what we did over the years which -- is the call the dark and played back ups the last two weeks of the year. Now meaning we'll play -- cup series in each game. The state sure to keep -- streak alive -- that other stuff but. That's what Tony banks and at all say that. I don't know who would win in buffalo on January 3 if they were fifteen you know. And the bills really -- plane for anything either and Perry fuel trying to get a job. He double. Probably I don't know what are probably like the bill and that game but having said that -- I think. The colts have got a very very tough game this weekend and in fact are picking. On picking used in this weekend. You know against the colts down in down in in the use of but but -- that it may. That in BC would turn down a chance that Tom Brady on TV. You know in the patriots. It's -- at that too but I think this is all about making. Absolutely sure. Why is it that when there's discussion of the best wide receivers in the NFL Wes Welker is name doesn't come up.

Because I think people don't view them as a home run hitter debut. As -- it shouldn't slack slot receiver. Com but. He you know I mean look at -- got a project this week. That I've got to do for a site dot com which are picking and all technique. Which is a recipe for absolute heartache. In the old -- you don't all the -- all right you don't pick. Out of next time you see -- any EB distinct you know. But. And I'm I'm I'm not praise and an Arctic and trying to work on the team. Meet our they're more physically talented guys they're in their guys and everything but a picture of what kind toward on this team because to meet. He's the type of pugnacious. Top leader. Air at the same time being very productive guy and and it's almost like it -- you know I think that in the ten -- speed and it will be Wes Welker is best and years. I'm wondering if viewers amused. Slashed entertained as I was by the back and forth between Revis and Randy Moss and if if if for some reason. Or Revis has the ability to get under Randy Moss -- skin on and off the field.

I don't think it's I don't think it has anything to do with getting underage student I don't think that's it at all. I think it's that the guy is a great copper guy and a really good physical on quarter. You know whom he -- the need. He's every bit the cover guy is not the out -- is. Anti every bit the physical. Guy as in one point field. I mean I I I really -- Darrelle Revis a lot this. I don't think it's got a lot to do with the personalities involved even though I'm sure that that each guy thing. That the other guy is not you know is do. I mean that's why I watched a lot of their evening everyday. And as CBS -- it out of isolating them a lot. I mean it is Darrell Revis is a pain in the rear end you know to to -- the loss rightfully so he could -- agreed and --

Well Charlie -- be in the NFL next year.

I would think he'd have to be -- he chooses to eighteen year dropped the yeah I think -- currently the offensive coordinator somewhere new -- even. That's that's probably -- you know I don't know obviously the patriot and the job opening never fill that. So I mean who knows. I mean I hey I don't remember this story well I remembered a little bit it would -- a little bit. Financial. Back in four. You don't bet you didn't whites want more money than they wanted to pay.

And who knows maybe you'll go back to knowing that he certainly was very comfortable they're extremely productive and Ian Brady got along great. But -- that little bit of an asterisk that makes me thank you -- may hear some art feeling -- neither side aren't I don't know the answer to that would work there really aren't.
