Yeah I'm grace I could you know you know Hawaii and once a basketball season starts I'm fine. It. Yeah this is going to be real real big room before we get to that though this is of this this senate thing it's unbelievable I you know I learn more but you're in thirty seconds on TV that we can ever learn in a conversation here. When did you decide to run for the Senate.

Yeah I was that Ted Kennedy's funeral is a friend of mine and had. And many people came up the -- said that the economy. Is in real trouble. We lost a 100000 jobs last twelve months and we get -- other important you've been. On the ground building businesses and and know how it is to build business we need jobs back -- Massachusetts and it's time for you to step up and -- but I thought about it and I think -- I can do that I I have experience building businesses. I have been of the medical history and and and obviously we have a huge health care throughout their. I thought about that it -- part let them they might get children out my together serve as a freshman and a junior high school that they were supportive of that are big chart that the -- that they -- there really.

Steve don't you for a few years. Every time -- around you probably spend like happy go lucky guy. It's with a smile on your face young lovely wife for a terrific kids. While valued oh and it says. You all on the Celtics prolong the Celtics and you know I mean. I'm sure you can be a tough negotiator because I'm not in the back rooms of London and and the Middle East where you cut now these billion dollar deal so and you get the job done so obviously. You might have a different character that I don't recognize walking the streets of Boston on the parquet. But Saddam I mean with this something you wanted to for a long time or is that I mean that Kennedy influence or confluence of these things --

Eric it was a it was a problem and I think we're at it pretty unique moment in history we we have almost financial collapse. About thirteen months -- global and US financial collapse. And you'll have a lot of great people Washington but they're mostly clear politicians and lawyers. I would bring something different. I don't want that collapsed happen again we have a we have a thirteen trillion dollar national debt you know you guys know. In 1982 it was a big deal -- crossed trillion. -- to -- 200 years to get through train announced thirteen trillion. So I can do something about it. I always at any you know they have always been the public service with the best decided project really children. We've built that into -- 600 strong organization the -- Massachusetts. Bought whichever art foundation by the way we have our gala. Tomorrow night. And there at the Renaissance then and we've we've supported. Many may children's causes because children -- here it is as children homes. It's been a wonderful charity so I've been in public service and and that's what the respect of the -- in the suburbs in the community.

You know it we we thought about it for two or three days said it would let all the phases and and that area that day you know she was supporter. You know -- think about the -- has called into the blood sport Massachusetts's. Yeah yeah. I think there's more outpost on the net and the boards of the Celtics yeah. But she believes that we can make a difference since you've been very supportive and all these other things that we we've done and and -- by the front -- within. And as she served the state she is something that turned our board of that development board and a great job on those so. So you know we've we've been out part of the American dream that you guys know my grandfather capability. Yet nothing. And my father fought in in in a world war two and then back to Korea is the only guy in his is that I also get a college education OJ had built. The site you'll like it you know I had I really had shut the American dream and and I I think we gotta get it for other people and we've got to get the deficit down we gotta get people -- health care and I think I can really make sense so I decided to jump at.

Know yours is a noble American story no question Steve and stand -- guy and a community we wish you the best of luck in your in your campaign and from our own personal experiences of course -- good guys well. I gotta tell you that when nobody's happier -- you -- and and this than the true Celtic fan when they -- regain a the championship form a couple of years ago I think last year we don't notwithstanding the injury Kevin Garnett they're read back and again station lakers. Certainly this year are making an equally optimistic maybe a little more so optimistic. Estimate of wins for the team I've heard other people make it to 72 wins. That's okay every -- ten I just keep everything nice and even over there. And -- how we look forward to season he -- Rasheed Wallace the new addition the team everybody's kind of sit on his team is deep and they are going to be good is that. Other way you guys collectively feel.

A lot of experience. I have definitely different I totally different than the rest the candidates are the only candidate there's been on the ground building businesses.

I'm like a football -- there's nothing raw politics but I think -- bomb at a time. Where we really got to get this economy going up -- got to get jobs back here. And you on the most experts speculate that so the message is resonating. And and and and -- optimistic we -- great state where leaders in in many industries as they were leaders -- leaders about technology. Where leaders in in net histories were -- leader -- high tech. We're leaders intend in precision manufacturing for defense so we've got all the ingredients.

It could save about you know the the debates in -- can get down and dirty -- I've never seen you math I mean it just doesn't seem to be in your DNA. And yet there's going to be some stuff thrown back and forth and I don't shall be civilized to a degree but it can get nasty to each you know from my have a debate. Are -- I think -- ourselves that you are you are now. I I think the demagoguery and the name calling is is it just doesn't get anything done -- we don't have health care coverage for every American. We don't have energy policy there we do not have a there's. People are people are you know fighting extremism. And calling names but that they're admitting that in getting that let the school. It negate that they they don't like what they've done is. You get the facts stay calm stay focused that's how you win championships in the NBA. And that they get in an American so this is the same the same person you always seeing. And I think that I bothered by having everything -- revealed stick with something that Barack electoral -- up wanting it should take shut the -- anyway.
