Yeah they had that they've figured some things because nick -- was back getting examined. Which they -- the conclusion that it may be this problem is back they still have to verify that but he's this state back there a little bit. -- So they've they've brought back Chris Woodward who had been sent to Pawtucket tactically. When Daisuke Matsuzaka was activated. In reality he was step back down working on him but waiting -- his wife who's due to give birth of their third child like October 5 so the -- moments. By the news was happy to come back here. How -- beat by the team against that Woodward is back. And make room for him equipped to be key to our on the sixty day DL and they're -- couple reasons for that they've picked as our number what he was -- groin injury. Storming back to his last outing in Chicago back in August. And also because you really reviewed reaches fish what's it which if you add up I think between the minor leagues in the major leagues you've got -- it just over 130 innings. And as we've seen with Clay Buchholz and some other pitchers before. The organizations that's the limit on these guys say okay you reach that really studied we're not gonna mortgage your future I think that's what they were doing --

So that's got to make sense in that dissolve wasn't going to figuring to their pitching plans but from here until the end of the season if at all. Alex Gonzales is consistency at the shortstop position this kind of made everybody forget. About what a question mark shortstop had been for this team. Essentially all season long. But even with -- playing well you still need to reliable backup shortstop but it's not Nick Green that's not Jed Lowrie it might well beat Chris Woodward in the post season roster.

Yeah you know way could be laced who -- situations little tricky because. I think there's still some concern about him hitting from the left side of play him and that the wrist -- and certainly not. Being at the point where they feel -- he can play him one game after the other. You're right you know victory doesn't figure this out and there's a problem that this -- be very tricky. That you're looking at perhaps the Chris Woodward coming in him. And doing some post season consideration here and but you're right that they need some help in terms of backup shortstop position. Right now they've been very very fortunate -- Gonzales having him around we all know he's built up above and beyond is certainly offensively. Was a lot of people expected but defensively have you those scouting reports are coming from Cincinnati said he velocity thing I think. Might have been a little miss misconstrue.

Tim Wakefield starts tonight certainly he deserves a lot of credit just for getting on the mound tonight but what can we reasonably expect from Wakefield. This evening going forward. Well you know I don't know about going forward because I think -- it is literally went started the timing this. Trying to get on the mound in the stuff that I give Tim Wakefield tremendous amount of credit. For this getting on the mound tonight in candidacy if the rain holds up that is. -- because of all the things he's gone through it but in terms of the shots in terms of name he still walked through the clubhouse he's still walking with a live. But he knows that he can get out -- about it he probably can give them pretty good start based on what he had done before so. No one knows with the future's gonna hold because after every quality starts yet -- I'd always take you think about I think he wanted to get back at about.
