I'm. I have little time but I have to show it. -- remaining then I got -- the the short week is is not always something that football players like come -- from that Monday night game. To the Sunday afternoon game how's the week -- preparation wise for you guys.

I think the week has been Austin of course we always go that we can get better have room to improve that area. Area of the game but we had a very sharp very crisp we -- is sure. Nothing big guys here they're very professional. And they they went about their ways this week accordingly and I think we asking things.

And down here self scouting in and self analysis is pretty common no matter what position you play I'm wondering. Which her own analysis was that of your first game as a patriot well first and foremost.

But it says you always want to play better. I think we have to take back one run if I can have back went could that it may. It would be. Second quarter. Run that I cut back to the left are -- you can't performance. Maybe we would've gotten my before five yards on the play as opposed to no game. And we look at those things like that you wanna give positive yardage no matter what as they -- on negative situations. I think. -- Myself. That was the one in very critical. Not how did that when you look back at it. Did did you say to yourself what was I thinking or did you know exactly why you do what you did in the game world -- during the game. You make those cuts and you tell yourself well thought I saw some you know not until you give back and -- the actual tape. You realize well maybe it wasn't as bad or maybe I should just let it develop a little bit longer. And throughout during the game at but it was the right there to make at that time. An incentive on tape a -- performance.

As a member of the jaguars. You had an opportunity on several occasions -- Tom Brady direct the offense against your team. What was it like in the closing minutes here Monday night watching him run your offense.

and at the five minute mark -- we're wrong when his game. You know just that confidence. And just the sense of urgency. I mean I got out a more on his side now. I've seen that and game against can you ourselves. And they -- be -- knock us out of the playoffs and ruin our dreams. That's a that's and it's a sad but six ahead in every second -- he's amazing I mean he's amazing and and he knows. I'm just shocked and -- about it -- that he can do he he's he's definitely from book.

You see those last two drives and you think about how everything has to be so precise. And you and you put together two scoring drives were basically. Not really a mistake was made I mean it was an overthrown pass there was a drop but for the most part. Everybody was on the same page and everything was clicking the way it's supposed to do that's pretty hard to pull off in this league in the -- image --

We I mean. Going out to begin the game doesn't have to excuse you want you want that are bigger executioners -- starting fast. And pits in the boss everybody in on the same page in everything one set of lies and are often. Not until the final five means that a game. We clicked on all cylinders. Everybody within the defense through -- pair of eyes and the receivers were making Katz's. -- alignment stars with that group first and foremost they picked up all of the purse for blitzes and different things that the deacons try to providers. And I can say we we excuse to right there within that five minute. And that's what won the game for -- when supposedly worse we we feel we're supposed to -- so are -- that the entire sixty minutes. But then -- we thank you -- them twelve. The guys up front Ben Watson. And I've got like that we can keep this thing road.

Tell me about this running back group them he would talk with you last week on the phone and we -- no Laurence Maroney coming up to you you know BenJarvus green Ellis coming up to. What what does that what does that meeting room like in what is your interactions like because they're they're a bunch of view. And it is hard to say -- this guy's going to the ball 25 times this guy's -- to the -- five times seemed to be. Pretty -- unit.

This is very good unit. Good group running backs even prior to -- always thought -- that the running back position. And then -- and BenJarvus. A meeting room it's. Pretty if we study first and foremost we businesses business -- we take care where we're supposed take. We'll carry -- 82 we joke around -- play pranks going to. We -- Europe. When video game for us two men in there. But it's open. We respect each -- No -- we help each other out. Kevin he's the leader in that group even though I have -- year. An extra year and one more year than he had these two leaders he's been here he knows exactly what coach wants these -- true professional. No he's here every morning early the next step whether it's stair masters treadmill -- whatever. He's like the leader in it myself from myself fallen and then listen and care. I've been around for awhile but I'm still learning and I try and take that in from him and then try that that trickle down to. Two. BenJarvus and and lines and those guys listen they pay attention. And they're going to be very successful.

What do you think -- of Lawrence and he's the guy who was a first round pick and a lot of fans here expect him to be even better he's missed some time in. And it'll a lot of folks don't really know what to make government what do you think of his. On the field that his potential his ability.

Always tell arms his. His curious kind of and photos someone like mine when I started. Early on. The nagging injuries to fight in fruit fly -- through. And in -- get to the point where does do the small things the united is dedicated to so take care of small things not -- amount lowers things. And thank god how -- advocates myself early you know he's a great town. He runs the boys fans. -- He gets down whom he can run guys over. And to have all of that talent you have to do small things so once drone flew. You have all the confidence in world knowing that I'm not worried about injury I've done everything in. In my mind that I'm supposed to do scrutinize them just go out there have for a complete game. Which you have to throw routine as well tell him. Take care of yourself. Maintenance. The first one and that's when -- leave if possible. Mathias. Note treatment our practice. Acupuncture. And all of these things you have to take care of you so and once he grasped that concept which I think he's gonna try to be -- It will be a great pro he has to.

Watching the jets against Houston last week we saw a team that put a lot of pressure on the Houston quarterback -- job bottom blitzing lot of a lot of overloading. Blitz recognition -- let's pick up free running backs is going to be -- a real -- this weekend probably.

That's the number one key. Not only just suggest any deacons -- phrase you wanna you wanna -- the firm ID what they're trying to do. And then from there you wanna point out your guy and then more remain anyone XQ mean you wanna pick them up. You don't wanna move convinced the pocket and and take away you quarterbacks throwing things so ourselves you want me to make my instruments. I can't imagine. When you're out there in the second quarter you're thinking about something that Rex Ryan Senator Kerry rose just try on Tuesday yeah I haven't yet John -- you try to do your job at that point.

Yeah you're trying to do the job with throughout the week of preparation when you're talk coming from another organization. You wanna make sure OK they're talking -- use it as some type motivation. The study you harder but still a little bit longer at -- wise little extra tape. You know. Jotted down in your brain if you get it I shot throughout the course of the game to a kind of make them look better and embarrass them with then means of course the rules. Then do you know if I have an opportunity to either on carry over. Or time may commence. Those are options and won't try and do whatever I can help my team win nudges him -- there you know trying to help my team win this game.

Back when you were young -- in this league in didn't have the knowledge that you have now did you ever have. But and incidentally is spoke where you shouldn't this poker said some you should -- set forth then yes several times. Then though younger. And also trying to just motivate my thing. You know maybe -- become an awful flat week. You know I have to be others -- myself. That it down to maybe once every other week where -- embryos. Or every two weeks is something that nature. So to start listening to my body. Well I use it's two hours -- kind of practice get them with not -- you -- Anything else to do except. -- home and play video game which is something that would cause you lose your job.
