The situation should be. Picked for Rasheed Wallace and he's still getting thrown out of playoff games out of elimination games and the more getting another attack so he would play game seven epic came to that tell you what the circumstances were that forced him into that. Let's agreed that this guy has got all the right tools physically game wise. They can really thanks for one minute that -- is gonna let him get away -- entry or any age for that matter. While all in all ways all the conditions -- replacement that is that's -- Detroit and yet he still what does it. Asked while you went to Saturday at the about a position throughout my definition of the team played an avid soccer. On out of an elimination playoff game and -- -- -- would be eliminated and suspended four games I can -- that that's great well that's a good team player. You talk to you for the majority of his career like -- I want my team guys getting thrown out of elimination games because they wanna -- that was -- -- -- -- just lost. But we get there and should have the right to change that I know you're not try to pick that right away but. We like to think that it's that that's going to be different gear was paraded awesome what we're. For Rodney Harrison Leo it's been a problem we have confirmed many other place. Different guys no one ever questioned Rodney Harrison's -- a minute. And will to play hard we question that all the time about possibly questioned it about the Rasheed Wallace. Well they worked out what they mean and very effectively what I love mysteries. Because I've read about thanks for the call Steve because Randy Moss worked out now we can sign. Any sort out all right Paula. Ought -- -- -- winner and it's gonna work because any boss worked out you think you hear the same thing he's not a he's got a dog quitter what are you just call them. -- right hang on hang on hang on I. All I'm saying is that it is that it's at the extreme in that. Because Randy Moss worked out we think that everyone -- out -- confront anybody can read it all worked out. This will never happen never chants but the patriots on Michael Vick next week. Unit that you get the same reaction. Now because of the dog groups as the stupid dog people. So huge you it will open Bristol just set Aggies in knowing a victory happened about the -- people that the dog not it's a special sort. I love those dogs are going to the side. There's another another email for fidelity -- felt yell I have to say is Randy Moss and you go into battle -- before -- candidate regulated optical out Rasheed or -- for dinner anyways don't cheer for him just root for your team -- genetic. Most people feel that. -- get what you -- Was effort I am different though. I -- it is because he doesn't disagree all the time. Doesn't make -- use opera I've lost that hard edge but -- of say -- a title to what's going mute that it's going to be very effective for them. It addresses the need a guy picketed outside Tutsi James -- two years ago a guy a couple of -- James Posey two years ago stretches the courts Posey two years. Also a better James Posey then what we got two years ago this is a better player is the guy who Charles Barkley is Matt Harris once said. Could be that bass player and AM BA. The best. The best the best ads that type of talent and I know I I hated him what anybody has a -- and now it surely was on and the guy. Because I didn't love the way you play why witnessed the more I couldn't see past that currency pass puck across to pass the technicals icons the bitching about the official. Green -- I'll -- a couple more well rounded basket apartment I see what he brings to the court. I'd never that you -- lacking coming out Celtic. And you work Comcast bought -- annual -- That out. Of that to doing. David other free agent Grant -- that is health kind of you know the Baghdad and notes huge deal that -- But. This I see this -- busy as -- change. He's games now so I think he makes them -- -- the prohibitive favorite. I still like. March and your favorite player's card. I like it does not informing the guy and gore and its ability. Words as the card joke I had. Yeah I I agreed Obama's boyhood. I can't believe over the previous work but I agree with felker the Ottawa valley arts but I mean you know. I love this argument that because the patriots can -- player that means anybody at any Boston came to -- written their right. You know they talk about the veterans on the Celtics. But I think gender Perkins is a young kid and -- -- other tech trivia question. You was legal they he was second to recede there are so they can't Reagan Kendrick Perkins and keep it under control aren't gonna cheat -- under control it is Daughtry. It doesn't look ridiculous argument. The surrounding him with the right people that do it last year was a -- in does what you can do to -- to just. Last year Detroit when he again led the league in technicals. Oh it at 8885 Q five. 0850 planes in the -- likely. Yeah I hate I think again I gotta agree without -- which is like amazing and despite out of this world. How would electing a -- control is TP. -- docked -- -- terms of quote control the last couple years. That one of the best coaches in the ambient. -- -- you know on that -- I think which is gonna except a natural he knows that colors and so is his side -- he -- knowing. Do we we he's getting it to what the Mets were going to be a good start he might have been at start and us Antonio might be able. -- -- Orlando -- eke -- more minutes elsewhere we talked the last night. Again -- Comcast and he said I'd do your particular money on the W documents that it would in the mid level pretty much anymore that could have been. I don't know if there was another team. That could -- offered more but they certainly one have been you know what. Celtics lakers and they've won those contending it would have been won the big championship contending teams it would have been. A team we -- won a title. But I think it would I don't would have been the same in San Antonio I think that was started the midlevel. Mean -- -- would -- years you know it's a game -- maybe could get a third some morals like the fact that he's coming here. Accepting eventual going in something you know it does and -- that the that the goods the new sheet it's a good sign. You discussed how. Just ask you because of rights are a bright note yet so -- away projects in the -- morning. I Arctic cat I -- Michael appreciate it. Up what who allowed only beta a comment there it is paralyzed sparked and let it. Michael good luck all although it would go look Gerstein and Geithner became the band -- let. You know when it won -- -- well calculated that -- Audit audit because I -- to go back in the game because Toni Kukoc got the last shot when he did it and he out when it come back out on the court. Internal luster when you demand. And Irish people it's illness struck in the mirror he walked developer. I thought our. It's possible if if it was just that one time he Jake pulled the NBA record for most technical -- the season at 41 that was hardly. An isolated thing it's what he's spent his entire career. I think you keep making the argument yeah you can go about that once -- sell Wednesday. June 2 2007. While I mean I consider that a deal breaker like I mean that there are certain instances where it is or defines you and I think. Giving yourself thrown out of an elimination game and then making sure you couldn't blame game seven is sort of a defining moment have a hard time getting past that one I do. Yes what little I know what Palmer. Shot but he can't that the chart and they don't -- like ink goes indoor champion. And there are not a government he was it was big game he was big shot Rasheed will help them. What anyone. Our -- extradition and -- shots he now. But I think received all the yes settled out of playoff game Jake I deal I think narrower than. Then the hit shots and so would -- if you what she got a shop cast in this instance. That's the card Comcast sports net slowed and then go ahead. -- I -- on the guys up. I got to think what -- specific -- a little more general. First like to bring up Paul purist Indiana Pacers let lit litigation -- -- -- -- -- -- wearing what appears it's brought out of the game I love pierce. Aren't -- by the way. The Celtics almost traded and that offseason not -- I really because of that but if you think the Celtics were like all that was cool that was culture they absolutely hated that. All and I hated it too you know. Bird for you know fifty minute second there -- a lot mind you know I want the -- to but. I think that it's one more example where you can look at NC god has grown a little bit. Now she's a little bit different from pure thought give you that focus on what that perhaps that accept all that thing is sort of say -- I think talent win basketball games. Maybe more so than any other sport I think you talent win you basketball games that. On and I think asking she -- called -- a year now you're looking achieved as what may be our fourth best player make -- six best player on the team. I think that changes the whole equation. Does it does in fact he's accepting it going and I bodes well. What's so what are you worried about. -- you're not I know you're not but -- prisoners panic I don't know the technical. Meter emotionally. Right at a fan you feel things go literally right how you could go from. So that's a word I think dis respecting guy to like that that's up your fingers so well -- Celtic we -- -- despised him. -- thought it was not villainous it was not but it just means that. I got a -- was as I have always hated the guy. While I as I said you have to you was easy to hate when he was with them you don't. Are evident that doesn't mean I don't recognize this fact please -- -- player one of the reasons I hit him once could because he was deployed because he -- they -- out because he did. Throwing elbow when -- news. This whole thing if he -- -- on the beat him I just reject about wired that way a and if all goes back to what -- respect out of a player. In well. To meet the guy that needs you know the receiver that needs the perfect quarterback you know if for any losses that like with the quarterback you like he's activity -- percent. If Rasheed Wallace doesn't like his coaches and teammates. He's not gonna give you a 100% he's gonna leave the reservation those guys. -- those guys inspire you. Don't like that guy's gonna show up. And give it everything they have no does no matter who's on the team no matter who's coaching no matter what the stories or those guys the ones that we like and we also love the lunch -- guys this is that this is the -- in the large -- -- no -- yes it is. Is this thing you'll do exactly that this year. Mean it tells us at this point he's going to play point five the thirty minute that is going to give you what you need up the badge. I urged that it was another weakness for the Celtics last year a guy off the bench a James Posey -- likely not what they -- large -- Rasheed Wallace once. That's the story of 2003000. Rates or six years ago. So six years ago. I don't think about Wallace known as much for his garish tattoos and fiery temper as far as basketball powers charges that the NBA exploits young black players for the enrichment. Of the predominantly except one all white ownership. -- it is wanted draft who are dumb and dumber straight out of high school they look at black athletes like we're dumb ass it is that we're just gonna shut -- sign for the money. And do what they tell us. Waltz number a choir boy arrested for possession of marijuana has been ticketed for driving with spent by welcoming of the MBA 5000 dollars a dead issue by both the blazers and the league for various violations during his career. This is what is the blazers blazers coach Maurice Cheeks has incurred -- take a leadership role on the team. But apparently Wallace doesn't share cheeks idea of leadership and seems to resent the idea. Of being a role model missed one use all the time on one hand walls claims that you play for the money. But rather because he wants to win games and went a league championship on the other hand he says he will play for quote. Whoever cuts the check and -- Do you remember the pacers pistons brawl November 19 2004. The peacemaker he was a peacemaker. Didn't do anything there's debate. NESN's Barry Pederson on the Bruins dominance

Cleveland Indians hottest team in baseball, yet remain last in attendance May 19, 2013 By AJ Kaufman 6 Comments There’s a scene in Major League where Bob Uecker, portraying the radio voice of the Indians, bemoans, “In case you haven’t noticed, and judging by the attendance you haven’t, the Indians have managed to win a few here and there, and are threatening to climb out of the cellar.” Well, that was nearly 25 years ago and fictional, but today’s reality is that Cleveland has won 17 of its last 21, and currently tops the AL Central with a mark of 25-17. No one in the majors is better than the Indians in the past month (20-7). That’s great news. The bad news, however, is the Tribe somehow remain in the MLB cellar when it comes to attendance. How can this be? The fact that I wrote on this same topic almost to the day last year – when only Tampa Bay drew fewer fans than Cleveland - may be even more troubling. Though roughly 34,000 watched a walk-off win Friday night against Seattle, perfect weather and free caps weren’t enough to draw more than 36,000 Saturday and Sunday combined. What did the Indians do in those tilts? They nabbed another walk-off win on Saturday, then the Indians crushed the great Felix Hernandez Sunday behind Justin Masterson, arguably the AL’s best pitcher right now. Fun fact: The Indians have already faced eight Cy Young Award winners in 2013: Bartolo Colon, R.A. Dickey, Roy Halladay, Cliff Lee, Jake Peavy, David Price, Justin Verlander and Hernandez. They have won seven out those eight matchups. Simply astounding. This offseason, the much-maligned Indians front office finally made a legitimate attempt to improve the team through free agency. I’m not talking an Ubaldo Jimenez-like trade, but rather smart acquisitions that brought veterans Mike Aviles, Michael Bourn, Jason Giambi, Scott Kazmir, Brett Myers, Mark Reynolds, Drew Stubbs and Nick Swisher to Cleveland. In addition to being a fantastic place to watch a game due to great egress and ingress, with extremely affordable tickets, the best promo lineup anywhere, Jacobs Field boasts overall, cooler, less muggy summer weather than most Midwestern locales. The team also lowered beer and hot dog prices to $4 and $3 respectively. What other professional stadium in any sport offers that? I have visited 28 of the 30 current Major League Baseball stadia, and few top The Jake when all angles are considered. I say that as a baseball fan, not an Indians fan. As for the putative “economic” angle, these are the same people who spend insane amounts of money to watch terrible football every fall and show up in decent numbers for putrid basketball in the winter. Irrespective of season length, those sports charge up to 10 times the price for a ticket, and the atmosphere isn’t half as fan-friendly as baseball. I understand fans’ lack of willingness to get on board to some degree. A decent recap of Cleveland’s decade of “rebuilding” can be read here and the team suffered a horrific collapse last August. However, in addition to all the benefits of attending games at Jacobs (now Progressive) Field, fans should also realize the team has potential and often exceeds preseason aspirations at any point without warning. Cleveland hosts the rival Detroit Tigers — heavy favorites to repeat as AL Central champs — Tuesday and Wednesday nights before hitting the road. The temperature should be pleasant at first pitch each evening so you’d expect The Jake to be full to watch the best hitter on the planet right now — but don’t count on it.
