Rather another day another series another week another month but David Ortiz is homer list streak continues we've all wondered how much it's been weighing upon him. He talked this evening in the clubhouse at -- apparently it's been weighing on him quite a bit.

Yes he says morning noon and night basically is what he says in he admitted to it. It's thinking a lot about a lot of time in -- Said he talked to Carlos Delgado yesterday for about an hour and people should understand that. Coastal Gado was probably the best case scenario. In terms of the guy pulling out from such a slump which he went through last year so. We talked a lot about that very subject with Delgado yesterday. I talked to Torii Hunter which is obviously Ortiz won a better -- better friends who witnessed his longest. Home run drought back with the Minnesota he says. You know if he's got the personnel or he's gonna pull out when he wasn't heartened to hear that he he was so frustrated eighty verbalize the front of a massive media. Saying that it is weighing on him a little bit but he did feel like if he just gets -- one it's gonna be all behind them.

I mean obviously his confidence is not the same how could it be based on the performance but do you get the sense and seen him in listening to him talk that it's completely gone or it's just kind of on the back.

That he feels this is kind of a carry over from last year where he gotten so about have a last year but not being neglected -- inside fastballs which. But you know until you get the first one its knowledge is knowledge of the physical and technical that side of things but also the confidence boosted the you have to have the confidence that you're going to hit a home run and right now he doesn't and that's hard to believe considering everything he's gone through his career.

You put the Red Sox lineup and they were not the one they're going to feature tonight but the one you would expect. -- not giving anything out of your three guy and tonight your number two hitter and you number four hitter -- in the lineup as well mean that's a huge coal let's start with Youkilis of the number four guy because over the weekend we get the sense that they may be this would be the night to Kevin Youkilis would get back to the lineup but there that's not the case.

Now I mean you were almost halfway through basically what would be a fifteen day disabled list it's -- today's the eight today so. It's tricky situation I think today is really kind of hallmark moment for him and sense of how he comes from taking batting practice and fielding practice and if he can and then they feel like you've played the next couple days and can avoid -- several list. And he did come here earlier. Worked out -- went through batting practice today in on this watching nothing grounder. He seems fine so I think if I had to guess I would think that he's not gonna -- DL move. And he's going to play but certainly its last a little longer than they anticipated. The jury is -- much less serious though I mean even he could pinch hit tonight it's neat being. Yeah and in you know what if you pinch hit that would be such a bad thing because he's five for seven career as a pinch hitter. It's -- competes he thought could have -- Syria is. He said that he could play today he actually probably want to play their whole -- of the last couple days he had treatment yesterday's hotel.
