Was -- Perkins sixty points nineteen rebounds and seven blocks but on the PF -- it -- zero and doctor recessed to be a genius and -- cost -- point five brand but man have you ever seen PF zero next to Perkins name.

Right well -- you know I don't think there's the officials listen Cochran's comments I think -- more park with the doctors called me -- smart. He's been you know several lot of movie screens of course the year -- get a much better options and was panned -- I really don't think that the officials officiated game any different.

We're certainly -- has been arguably since the league expanded to seven games maybe the most exciting. Series of thus far since the expansion and to -- expected it might go this way at the beginning.

Are you worried about Chicago they're just another boost all of energy I'd -- Derrick Rose and Ben Gordon to dynamic player every year in the playoffs you'd think there's a guy or two that are you know the kind of break out. On this kind of stage that they're good players but no one knows how good and I think they're both in this series both brought Rajon Rondo and Ben Gordon. A kind of opened your eyes of of the whole basketball world.

Well last night's game. You know this a million euros last night's game mute down by ten with about nine minutes ago would certainly. And no Rondo really again steps it up it's Kirk had a solid game all the way through but. You know Rajon Rondo added it's such a great job we get behind eleven. But he was the catalyst and giving it even an opportunity to win the game and they're not all in the last two baskets. And especially erroneous -- admit a few comments about Raj on Rondo is hard follow Brad Miller and did you expect anything to come out of this and it was just what it was a hard follow good basketball play.

Group which are just gonna say -- strikes me that you know it's a completely different year you're defending champs. But yet here you are after game five first round series in the exact same situation. UN last year and on the road. With that chance to close out a series now -- hadn't won a road playoff game. Atlanta was feeling their oats in this whole different series but you back in that situation again with a battle tested team. I mean it's it's pretty amazing president.

that we had chances to close the series doubted you know there's there's we've we've also been such posters it would have been eliminated by now. You know I think it. Our team has been leaking oil a little bit -- little worried about it. Net the plane and just. His possessions -- that are pacing themselves they can mop up the series. But. I think that there there's so a lot of character. But a lot of grip on ways to win these games as -- Chicago is you know they they a lot of guys that they went to break up the game.

That tough last night really gets five points off the bench and I understand them I was to bring up minutes fewer repairs place fiftieth Davis 4042 -- him you know 49 for Rondo. And and so on and so forth but. I I got to be honest with -- I'm a little disappointed Stephon Marbury I was I was actually flabbergasted last night we passed a federal open jumper. One -- you felt about it and how you felt the bus in bikers making progress a couple of weeks ago now not so sure Danny.

Well you know I think that there's that there's a few -- I mean we need we need to get more production -- what bench as -- go along with it is no question about that. But I I think it's. It's very difficult to have access to -- on the bench for. 45 stretch of the game when he's not you know Ray Allen already how what would they deal will be Stephon Marbury is -- good. All of this and the whole career that's like captain John Roberts that the 45 minutes and have come -- it and -- three and then expect the make it that's not stepped gain. And by the way was it actually did -- That's a little that's a good shot Rondo had right there he pulled the string a little bit maybe wasn't expecting that by. But that's Eddie House who would take that shot that -- this is more at risk war and the -- that distribute the ball. And down I think the next one it. What it comes his way I think he would have been more than in -- issue that I think that the bands that production on the bench as you know we've got our bench starting. And you know a big baby big baby it in northern help in the war on now in the -- where our bench. We need to get some we need to give them opportunities need to give them more consistent minutes and in productive citizen has not had a great deal of confidence. Follow out of that game and I know late in the game -- surprised Tony Jones on the floor defensive reasons and instead of Eddie House is Stephon Marbury and announced on how you -- getting an extra shooter with a guy like Ray Allen out of the game. They staff bringing that much more defensively is that why he's on the court late.

Yeah I mean that's that's always the tough thing in basketball it's different in other sports where you can go with specialists but. You know duck and make a choice to a war there's. Shooting yet of any culture but what the toughness -- experience decent there Stephon Marbury or there won't be capped what this is in the energy and and Tony Allen and and the heat that's Tony Allen we'll figure that stuff so I think those are always -- always tough choices that -- have to make right now in this series. If he really hadn't got on track to simply because they're not -- an entity now on the can create his -- opposite.

They would go on saga in your. Well what do you think -- I mean I was always wonder what kind of NBA player he was going to be in east. Seem to. Found a nice roll this -- team.

Yet don't know with the players that are coming out of college we like him in the draft -- that your you coming out he played great good energy. Stripping out certain you know doesn't shoot the ball very well score the ball very well but. That's pretty much everything else.

We know obviously with KG now playing that the whole dynamic of the team defensively. You know changes lob it's are you still concerning the last night even though it was a -- of a difference last night that some video games but. You still concerned about some of the wide open shots and some of the easier easy baskets of the bulls are able yet.

Well you know I think that -- the -- that would didn't score over many points in the regulation. -- up. If they were ahead 7766. -- I think about. Sixers and the minister Gordon gained eleven point the and I thought our deep sense was amazing. After that and we got back in the game and tied the game up I think he beat three and made some crucial stops down the end of that fouls there was he had done but I thought that authority -- flight but. You know gambling here Newton gave need to get more. Contributors I think our starters -- log some minutes at that they are. They're helping themselves to do so I'm confident that they can't I'm confident that the guys can play better than their -- off the bench. I like in the two years in the eighties new planes in the starters ball averaged forty minutes a game that everybody does not get our bench that. Every time somebody got hurt someone came in off the bench played very well it's just very difficult to play the highly passionate. Emotional important gain. It is just a short minutes it's it's that it's a very difficult thing to do about also like my expectations are involved are don't turn it over and -- solid defensive it is compatible or shortness of.

Did you mentioned Gordon and rose in how they're playing at such a high level how about Rondo. I mean obviously it it it's his team out there and without KG's. Even more so what about the level he's complainant in this series.

Yeah I -- I I think did you know Gordon and Rondo and and I -- to a little bit of lesser extent wrote in this series has really become. They're not household names I mean these guys are really. Not just good players you know. Rondo has played extremely well he's. He'd been our most consistent player throughout the series two and so many different things. And you know he's -- so much confidence knocking down -- on Tuesday it remember last year in game five against Cleveland. We were down ten points. In the I think it it just. Floundering doing nothing and that little -- scored ten straight in Bluetooth recliner singularly brief idea that you would need to leave or year. And you know he did have a knack for he's he's a great competitor. And even if you bids for that tough moments. And the big gains in. We're glad we got -- sure.

You know you watch him and rows and rows of course the first pick in the draft and -- rookie the air and they're so different in some ways but yet you wonder. What's this going to be like for the next 5678 years with the two of them going at it like you said the series like this and they become -- we've -- about -- here. And you know with the Big Three may be gets overshadowed a little bit nationally but he wonder what it's going to be like the two of them get linked a little bit now after a series like this.

I think I think that they're becoming that they continue it. No consistency -- what -- did you know at lot of guys have great series but I think these two guys are the real deal they've just had too much. Success in their career so albeit a rookie of the year of -- he's adamant that piece of solidifying. A road is and then rouge on this after the elections all of -- up without a much improved -- this year. These guys solidified themselves as as to the top point guards in future.

The way with KG obviously Paula that is so essential that perk you know stay in the game obviously don't expect him to put the kind of numbers every night we did lastly what. But what Mikki Moore and not really playing all that well be honest with -- right now I mean it is essential that pork have a very similar game last night because I think to stars are going to be plan all want to minutes once again.

Yeah you know I think that obviously as the weakest right now have a scalp back right now it's huge he gives us some good energy -- you -- his conditioning isn't a does not mean it's amazing inspect the plane after being helped along and and contributing defensively. Now we just need to -- a break on the call we now there and that might that might help -- I think that perk. -- is essential for us and what if there'd be this is -- one reason is because -- we are limited in depth. --

They go to big baby here in the series is elevated his game with that jump shot a lot of talk last year about you know gaining some experience. He wasn't exactly in the mix in big minutes last year and didn't exactly have that experience. The role he's playing this year and how he's just I mean taken the shots he looks like he's confidence. You really have to be impressed with what you've seen on him and his first really big -- post season.

Parties really stepped up this game and -- the opportunity has come you know what we -- everybody was talking about you know we will miss you PJ brown last year we felt like -- we work because big baby contributed very little of the playoffs for us last year -- but he that he was taken PJ brown people. And that we had beyond it and and KG and perk. You ready and we cut that he would be the PJ brown role in the different way and if he's certainly proven that. Unfortunately you don't have Fijian beyond which are two major major piece is to work Frontline. And down you know that's I think that's probably a little oil -- risk as well we're capable of but. Again optical starters there -- it.

is a question more for the offseason but come with -- babies contract. And poll also. Because he was a second round pick is that what can use it like that was the two year deal. So when his contract up this year in other words are all first round picks slotted and they sign a minimum. Three or four year deal.

Right so. Well and I its second round pick them that they've barely there's someone -- deals that some four year deal. I think it does it very first round picks are all the same belt slotted. You know potentially for years with it's actually. Two years guarantees with four years of options. And four total years of options so I think that. A baby doesn't cited two year deal because we were only able to give him -- two year minimum because we used our cap space that summer to impose.

I see there last year Rio we oblige him Rick obviously asked about Kevin Garnett and then heard more rumors Summers on an -- radio show nationally this week saying. He had heard that KG if the Celtics make -- the second round might even play against Philadelphia Orlando. And how is you've seen cage you've been around them how does it look I mean is there any chance that he could play not just. Possibly the Eastern Conference -- possibly next round.

Don't know I have really -- I you know I'm not even give -- Jinx sitting saying they're cursing their illicit is any chance I would say yeah but at the same time we're not counting we're not counting on PG at all this year. And -- if if if if it's a miracle happens these back plane that's one thing but we're not counting like it you'd be back.

Getting want to ask you one last question about what happened with -- immediate help was it was a real eye opener for you. They come out of the clear blue.

Yeah it's in some ways the came out of the clear blue. You know how much and we have the history of Portuguese. Fathers had quadruple bypass that is sixty might. Uncle died of heart attack we have a long history of the grandparents and so forth so. And plus side you know just I've had this kind of problem with high blood pressure even when I was in my -- eighteen years -- now they have high blood pressure. So it's something that I dealt with -- even though I've only been taking medication last couple years. I've had this issue with high blood pressure for a long time. And which is and the strange to have a real low heart rate and well forty and yet they have really high blood pressure which is just a genetic thing I've battled the long time.

Well glad your back and then and healthy again and it's great to talk here in I'm looking forward to a lack of a game by tomorrow -- that's going to be that's going to be one -- the classic series so far really since -- since the -- was the best of seven opening -- this is this has been an unbelievable series very entertaining.
