I hadn't heard Carolina's. And heard the name of that team come up. You know we've talked about potential landing spots we've talked about Kansas City because of Scott pioli Detroit for obvious reason San Francisco Minnesota. I don't think I've ever -- Carolina come up at all.

And I don't think it will happen Julius Peppers come into New England he would have to play linebacker. He's 29 years old he hasn't played linebacker in the 34 and his life he hasn't played in bill Belichick's 34 he's a rush guy. Bill ballots that it doesn't just stand guys all the time for the linebacker position and -- he got to stop the run a little bit too. So I don't see that being a good fit it was an interesting rumor but -- no question but I was taken now and I don't see that happening but here's one. Kansas City came up a lot.

Yeah a lot it's that what makes the most sense for our for several reasons. You know they've got the capital to span I mean does the draft capital. They've got a guy there who knows you know every snap Matt castles overtaken in. And knows his guys drafted him who who you know bought enough of him to draft him despite fact that he never played in college either. I mean it does make a lot of sense in that regard. Kansas City came up. From what I've ever heard Detroit is not interest. So. It clear and I cannot excitement Daunte Culpepper is their guy I mean I can't figure out but it should be and a lot. They Culpepper but and you know what they are Detroit for a reason and and keep doing what --

But they want to hold onto those picks another and attitudes and Matt Cassel -- the deal with Kansas City supposedly would be. Cassell. To the -- Four. To second rounder. One this year. And one next.

I'd I don't Ottawa's aggressive for everybody got to have a first round out the quarterback and someone to think about you know. If I'm bill ballot check and I know that they have always been willing to put off their return for the future. Yeah I wonder if the if the the glimpse into the mortality of Tom Brady. Makes them a little more anxious that you know help in this team this year as much as they don't have a problem the second round pick this year. What I what I'm wondering about as with a they're willing to put off that the other part of their compensation. For a year from I don't know. They didn't get enough help this year for the trade a guy like.

Absolutely I tell you why if they make history. Gives them 32 round picks up. Yes in the third pick in the second round it is in the fifteenth pick in the second round to get the Eagles -- natural. So now. If if you believe the experts and they were all around and agents brawl swarming around you know my guys going to run a 45 tomorrow. Look out for this guy they pay attention -- him -- it to him but if you believe all the experts. This is a deep draft for linebackers. Inside and outside linebackers. Erratically. You can spend your first round pick if you went to -- that's right what has been architects. You defender you've spent your first topic a corner you get bigger corner at twenty for a starter. You kid go at that would the second with your first second round pick after he's. You can draft a linebacker inside linebacker outside linebacker and then draft the other linebacker right but if you want it to do that. With that second second round pick a second I have -- second rounder. That you -- in the bank for next year. That you could move up you can do all sorts of things with it so. I think it is adequate compensation given what they -- him --

Well and I mean two -- is something we've even discussed as as compensation for a guy like Cassel. I I guess I've I've I've found myself wondering you know let's let's do so for now let's you know let's get some help for now well -- all.

I have to deal with the team has. Not only you know adequate compensation to give you but good cap space that you have to be -- good situation. Matt Cassel was going to wind up. -- his contract. Roughly will be between 65. And eighty million dollars. When a man I'm not talk about the franchise that went on I'm going to another team sixty Friday 8080 million dollars with a court five something import fourteen million dollars. -- So you've got to be you know really get cap situation. And got a new quarterback. The goal after Matt Cassel and teams that fit that description. Are. Tampa. I'm not a lot of teams and -- all that money just like a stack of money there. And and -- and are in need of quarterback.

If you're if the approach self and bill Belichick's shoes okay. If pioli offers you the second this year in the second next year he attempted Diego.

So he could be a one hit wonder on the other hand. If you look at -- quarterback you one of these teams. At the top of the draft whether it's Detroit -- Kansas City you ask yourself. Who's better among Matthew Stafford. Matt Cassel and Mark Sanchez.

Well. You're really really sold you think marks and it can be a star. Gerald you -- what was to be here. But if you is really make it this guy's going to be great he will be there I know it. And and I have three years to wait on I had that security while. If you're that convinced you take of but there are a lot of coaches in the league. Probably five.
