Dale & Holley's Opening Segment

Well I will say it -- From the last play of the first half. Through halftime. Through the second half. It kept me entertained it kept me in gauged it kept media. It kept me on the edge of my seat. The last play of the first half the 100 yard interception return for a touchdown. Throw Bruce's. Other worldly halftime show. I am admittedly a gigantic Bruce mark but I thought that the spectacular. And the second half was just a blast. I mean from start to finish in. And and what -- finish was and and the way things worked out the way the whole second half played out it was unbelievable. It was it was a blast and I I think everybody ended up very entertained an enjoy themselves very much at least. I will freely admit that I enjoyed myself very much I I sort of began the night my wondering. Who undertook the extreme home make.

Over on Brenda Warner and then. You know got right through the end of the game and had a great time a -- and on you don't -- by yourself longer than I should ban originally. Two minutes 25 seconds. Was right outside in the hall really right now that evidently with someone movement fortieth and I guess that was what would another one of our producers mister Berger. And he was doing his own version of the talk I alcohol and we were.

What our own talk show in the hallway but then I feel I'm glad got a good show here going I've heard a lot about it. I hear you have pretty strong ratings you have a great guest list. It was great to watch Donnelly -- because. There were so many moments in the game where you felt like. You could say he ran into the holder and and he should know better than that if that's the case that's fine. Don't call us a little out of control you know I wasn't it was there was going and I only want it even if you call because any thing. It's going to be first down anyway anyway I think they made the wrong call by by making it a personal and I thought in this case wait a minute. They have three more downs possibly four. To put this game away they're going to do it and give Arizona credit do they held on. And I thought that that was pretty critical there. Action at that point it was 17177. That field goal made when he -- yeah. But. You couldn't ask for a better game. It it lived up to the hype it exceeded the right. This is. I think it was a better game than last year's game more exciting last year last year he had the tension of an eighteen and out team. Versus the Giants. A 1714 pretty good games and unbelievable plays but I thought this one was better.

If you're a New England Patriots Yahoo! football fan and I am counting me in that category. And and you -- ended last night's game rooting against the Steelers and I am that guilty party I raise my hand UN about 90% of new England and if I'm rooting against the Steelers. It was almost more painful that they came back to win. Because I'm sit there you know with my mouth open as Larry Fitzgerald is breaking down the middle of the football field and on my god they're going to pull this thing off they're going to. And then you look at the clock ball I don't know now. Give the Steelers credit give Roethlisberger credit give Santonio Holmes credit. They came back and got the job done which if you were rooting against the Steelers. Like I was almost made it more painful.

Yet it was tough. It was tough to watch I think most people in New England. The other way you'd. The rivalry between. The Patriots and Steelers. Patriots and Colts. And to a degree not so much anymore Patriots and Chargers. Is so intense that even when it's almost like Red Sox Yankees. You know is that the Red Sox are fortunate enough the play the Yankees you're rooting against the team you're rooting against the Yankees whoever they play right to an investor team. Yeah Yankees Marlins World Series the Marlins -- your team. So I think a lot of people in New England were rooting for Arizona just because they want to see Pittsburgh win and you don't want to hear Pittsburgh -- we've got more Super Bowl titles and anybody would be you know you'll hear Pittsburgh say. When the Super Bowl next year you know we've done we won three Super Bowls in four.

It is now like now it be me right yeah so. We're three and five whatever it is. I think a lot of people report but despite that. You look at that game and you say I couldn't ask for anything more other than you want errors -- when there's nothing in the game. That she could -- and I wish -- done a little more this. Net and it had big kids had big plays had controversy. Drama everything you'd want in a Super Bowl this game had. Right by a great game.

Why did add it the second half questions I mean you couldn't you couldn't mole I mean look Super Bowl we all sit around anyway 'cause it was with commercials are like. But it's like you couldn't you couldn't budge in the second. Fourth quarter. I mean you can't pack more stop and -- quarter than what you saw last you don't.

Not because I wanted to see the underdog win just didn't want to hear from from Steelers fans are going to give them credit. They're champs they're the best team and I felt they deserved to win blah blah all those nice things. But one thing. That really bothered me even though one of the Steelers to lose. Roethlisberger completes you think a huge path to Santonio Holmes -- salt away the game to pick up a first down there in the goal line yeah. They called a hole there. Force safety I'm sorry but. I.

I I wasn't shocked that Arizona couldn't run 'cause I just went into the game thank and they were going to be able to run against Pittsburgh. I was shocked at Pittsburgh ran as portly as they did two teams combined for 91 rushing yards in the game lowest total in Super Bowl history.
