Well I will say it -- From the last play of the first half. Through halftime. Through the second half. It kept me entertained it kept me in gauged it kept media. It kept me on the edge of my seat. The last play of the first half the 100 yard interception return for a touchdown. Throw Bruce's. Other worldly halftime show. I am admittedly a gigantic Bruce mark but I thought that the spectacular. And the second half was just a blast. I mean from start to finish in. And and what -- finish was and and the way things worked out the way the whole second half played out it was unbelievable. It was it was a blast and I I think everybody ended up very entertained an enjoy themselves very much at least. I will freely admit that I enjoyed myself very much I I sort of began the night my wondering. Who undertook the extreme home make.

Over on Brenda Warner and then. You know got right through the end of the game and had a great time a -- and on you don't -- by yourself longer than I should ban originally. Two minutes 25 seconds. Was right outside in the hall really right now that evidently with someone movement fortieth and I guess that was what would another one of our producers mister Berger. And he was doing his own version of the talk I alcohol and we were.

What our own talk show in the hallway but then I feel I'm glad got a good show here going I've heard a lot about it. I hear you have pretty strong ratings you have a great guest list. The people meters. Are going very well for this for this lot here the -- the two slot. So I mean -- You know you're pretty big --

You said for the last two minutes and what had interest in the back Goldberg noted that tobacco -- ground are no we -- enough knowledge on not is that the last couple minutes that it was one of bats that proposed audience they'd race at now -- the great game I -- and from last play of the first half. Halftime in the second half it was great barrier.

It was great to watch Donnelly -- because. There were so many moments in the game where you felt like. In Arizona doesn't get a stop here if that touched -- if they give up a touchdown here in the game is over we can all say good -- And one of those moments was late and and I feel like -- berry or call by the officials who wasn't a terribly officiated game but their a couple of calls. They got my attention one album was but it got all the replays right -- absolutely. Arizona's downplayed the seventh they get a stop on third down. Here comes the kicker. Jeff -- Fourth down and they call a personal foul on Adrian Wilson for running into the -- now. You could say he ran into the holder and and he should know better than that if that's the case that's fine. Don't call us a little out of control you know I wasn't it was there was going and I only want it even if you call because any thing. It's going to be first down anyway anyway I think they made the wrong call by by making it a personal and I thought in this case wait a minute. They have three more downs possibly four. To put this game away they're going to do it and give Arizona credit do they held on. And I thought that that was pretty critical there. Action at that point it was 17177. That field goal made when he -- yeah. But. You couldn't ask for a better game. It it lived up to the hype it exceeded the right. This is. I think it was a better game than last year's game more exciting last year last year he had the tension of an eighteen and out team. Versus the Giants. A 1714 pretty good games and unbelievable plays but I thought this one was better.

If you're a New England Patriots Yahoo! football fan and I am counting me in that category. And and you -- ended last night's game rooting against the Steelers and I am that guilty party I raise my hand UN about 90% of new England and if I'm rooting against the Steelers. It was almost more painful that they came back to win. Because I'm sit there you know with my mouth open as Larry Fitzgerald is breaking down the middle of the football field and on my god they're going to pull this thing off they're going to. And then you look at the clock ball I don't know now. Give the Steelers credit give Roethlisberger credit give Santonio Holmes credit. They came back and got the job done which if you were rooting against the Steelers. Like I was almost made it more painful.

Yet it was tough. It was tough to watch I think most people in New England. The other way you'd. The rivalry between. The Patriots and Steelers. Patriots and Colts. And to a degree not so much anymore Patriots and Chargers. Is so intense that even when it's almost like Red Sox Yankees. You know is that the Red Sox are fortunate enough the play the Yankees you're rooting against the team you're rooting against the Yankees whoever they play right to an investor team. Yeah Yankees Marlins World Series the Marlins -- your team. So I think a lot of people in New England were rooting for Arizona just because they want to see Pittsburgh win and you don't want to hear Pittsburgh -- we've got more Super Bowl titles and anybody would be you know you'll hear Pittsburgh say. When the Super Bowl next year you know we've done we won three Super Bowls in four.

It is now like now it be me right yeah so. We're three and five whatever it is. I think a lot of people report but despite that. You look at that game and you say I couldn't ask for anything more other than you want errors -- when there's nothing in the game. That she could -- and I wish -- done a little more this. Net and it had big kids had big plays had controversy. Drama everything you'd want in a Super Bowl this game had. Right by a great game.

Why did add it the second half questions I mean you couldn't you couldn't mole I mean look Super Bowl we all sit around anyway 'cause it was with commercials are like. But it's like you couldn't you couldn't budge in the second. Fourth quarter. I mean you can't pack more stop and -- quarter than what you saw last you don't.

You know what goes a cup a couple things those that ought to mean I was rooting I'm I'm with you I was rooting against the Steelers. Not because I wanted to see the underdog win just didn't want to hear from from Steelers fans are going to give them credit. They're champs they're the best team and I felt they deserved to win blah blah all those nice things. But one thing. That really bothered me even though one of the Steelers to lose. Vera when he won a fourteen excuse me their twenty to fourteen. Roethlisberger completes you think a huge path to Santonio Holmes -- salt away the game to pick up a first down there in the goal line yeah. They called a hole there. Force safety I'm sorry but. I.

I Cubs I -- not what you did and -- and and it when they showed it and give NBC credit meaning that you know 3000 cameras and 4008 machines. I I thought when I -- on replay a couple of times but you know what I understand why.

You think he completes a pass.

You Vicky completes the past despite that that no matter what do you think that that block allowed him to complete that pass. Let's see -- that's beside the point. And as I understand what you're saying and 'cause he completed the pass and even with the penalty not a penalty you know what without the penalty he might but it beside the point as an official. I don't think you can say -- if I don't call that Willie complete the pass. You gotta see it and say it in I'll take you all the guy down it's an and the flag is come and I I. Interesting the umpire who threw the flag is the same guy who got killed earlier in the game. You know you secretly football players coming match of the way that port guided. When I thought our replay I thought I I understand white.

what a horrible way to lose the game I'm not even sure of if it was good cause my instinct was no -- that three players know again. This morning I was thinking about it no again I think that was the wrong call in that situation now I don't. Expect NFL come out Wednesday. We reviewed the game. And everything the officials told you -- I know for a fact they made the correct call on Santonio Holmes great catch reminded me -- the Randy -- or the Jets. The last play of the game that definitely had so.

that took him as long as it did. To confirm what we saw after about two replays of all Walt looked dotted -- VDs got possession attitudes just seem.

Yeah touchdown I'm not sure they got it right on drop this burger on the touchdown. Touchdown that wasn't. I thought it was down first. Ballot a look at the knee down I looked at the -- like the ball loses.

and apply JJ and Harrison when was harder for me to to call. You know -- got talent gap and I think they did but I'll -- when I was looking at a I am going no where was the ball began to head -- it count if you're an -- To meet that was an almost a harder call them on the Roethlisberger replay but great.

Play by James Harris so you can say yeah you can't. You can't throw that away you can give the ball up there after Kurt Warner but. James Harrison made a tremendous play hair you know you don't expect him. Q. You know expect him to drop right into that area rent that space for Anquan Boldin is going to be and he does drop there. You certainly don't expect in the come up at the ball and -- all the -- down silent for a touchdown. Guys missed and I mean that was crazy so there are some of the opportunities on pumped up for both teams to -- Pittsburgh could put the game away. Many times in Arizona to me are heard about dog in -- talk about that the couldn't dispute felled Seymour. Eat eat eat it like the fact that Arizona deferred. I love the fact that the first night.

Hated it I didn't hear ago. Not think about this they put themselves -- a perfect situation they didn't execute it that it worked out they don't get it and the first hit -- there at three there. It's 1010 to get the ball. You'll get seven there. 1410 with the ball you come out you take control of the game -- you're saying is. -- We got a pretty good defense too or you could be saying yeah. -- over there can Whisenhunt was over there in 2005. When Ben Roethlisberger was in the Super Bowl before. It was afraid of the big stage. We're on the big stage again what gimme some cheap gimme some pitching we gotta play making deep that's let's if you make a mistake -- no problem with.

I I hated it when he did it and has played out I hated it even more. I actually think Mike Tomlin screwed up like -- in the field. I mean to me that's one where where you say you know what if we don't get your not going anywhere against my deep sense anyway. The fourth down call I've I've I thought it was going to gulf war I think he should let us go back for the -- the why did you hate the fact that they defer to begin the game because. -- me. If I'm Ken Whisenhunt what's the strength of my football team. The strength of my football team is my offense while I want to put that strength out there right off the bat and do it the best I can do with the strength of my team. I don't want to put I don't want to go with my second pitch. You know my second pitchers my defects. I don't want to start --

You don't want I promise not overtime. You know obviously and you know you gotta get the ball back at the stars of the second half I love that situation I always think that. -- when you're watching your team play in this case the Patriot Patriots always differ I mean they almost always always take it. No -- person Belichick -- all the time is it takes. You most of time takes the ball and they won the toss he's he's taken it because he wants to go down and score first. And it didn't remember they had that stat they record. With with scored first so they always take the ball but I I've I may be wrong I thought I remembered other but what I'm saying if you're watching the game in your team is playing. You always what team have involved start second half. Just to me it's just it's a good feeling something in the bank well we know I just later.

When he defers he he can't even count on the fact that he's got the ball late half. As it turned out a -- that begin right this right now right I'm saying as it turned out it could have been perfect for. You know they've got the ball at the end of the first staff and should've scored points out of it and they're going to get the ball to start the second half. At the time at the point he defers he can't note that he's going to be drive on the football to the end zone at the end well like.

I just like the fact that you get the ball in the second half and depending on you don't know what's going to happen happen obviously. In the first half but just like to have that -- money in the bank you know we know we got this it if we're down. At halftime. We know we can come out we got the ball. We can establish this if we're up by seven -- I can we can put the game away with this driver does give you some flexibility in the second half like it.

I mean -- I would always -- me and every other person on the planet -- the war row at the end. On the god almighty how can -- veteran quarterback like that you do the way he did.

The dog -- and -- yet. Not what I supposed to -- had -- I I thought it was a terrible throw a great idea James Harris and that's a great -- you out right at.

Light threat I don't because he's got he has -- faked out why they OT dot faked out by by -- where Harrison whether I was -- drop and.

I've seen great quarterback's fault for the same thing now you want to talk about plays that remind you brother plays if the late Santonio Holmes touchdown reminded -- of the Randy Moss touchdown against the Jets on their plate -- Willie McGinest. Indianapolis the goal line game so Peyton Manning -- Willie McGinest. He thinks McGinest is going to jam the receivers the opposite he faked the jam like okay here we go McGinest is in coverage. And instead McGinest is coming Adam unblocked. And and that that turns the game there and they hold him at the goal line but not it takes a great play.

On not taking anyway don't Harris I -- it was not I thought -- got to throw and it was idiotic parents I think you want a guy. I mean what's the one thing one thing makes it is. You can't throw an interception in the red zone took it's amplified by -- hundred when you're thrown an interception at one it.

Took eight it took. A play about the defensive player of the year. And a tremendous run back. Never been done before and Super Bowl history. To give Pittsburgh the event took a great play and that's what it -- nothing away from Harrison it was a remarkable play you actually do. If you can't you can't throw except he can't be both can you going to be a great player and idiotic throw it really well yeah it was terrible like every great player --

Well sure once he made the catch it was a great run a remarkable all the great run but not a great place.

I mean let's not let's buckle crazy about the interception he missed Boldin on the -- let down any threw it right out of it. -- the interception wasn't that big deal it's okay the ball's going to be right between the two numbers I'd better --

He put himself in position for that mean that is that is what great players do. He got he got tricked by. According to the voters the best player in the National Football League this year. And happen.

Was it was a remarkable run and a terrible terrible play by Warren. I mean he. At the time that happened I said he just lost the Super Bowl you'll go win I think they should of gotten seven at the worst you're gonna get three and tied the game that. At worst case and.

I think the worst case scenario is an and that's what you went the worst case scenario would be -- worst case and perhaps the worst case you don't get points apple were you know tenth. That's about to meet you war that should be -- Catherine -- but that is the absolute disaster scenario. They stop you bring your kicker out your kicker shanks it. It's wide left on the locker room it out and seven music boys we should be tied or we should have a lead but you never drain. That. James Harrison. Is going to pick it off and that he's got to take a hundred yards just never think.

Zone I'm looking at the run over your shoulder and it's unbelievable I thought it was going to die a threat to the ends linebackers -- for all all men that size are exposed to -- haven't make that kind of run around that many people and that far. --

East you know I think this is this is what what I heard this morning at least I heard -- Davis and I think a lot of people agree with them. That they don't think the Steelers are great team that person hater racing going on in New England because. The Steelers are getting close to where the Patriots are -- they've been a good team consistently. Abbott like they've had three coaches in their history that talked about. Wanted to go to since 1960 now. So that tells you how consistent they -- But I think there's and inability or unwillingness in New England to give Pittsburgh credit for what they've done there the best team in the National Football League. They didn't steal the Super Bowl -- I don't know known. They're great and they are they are now one notch. Blown away you don't want them win in the Super Bowl next year because now. Now you might you might have to start using the.

Absolutely I'll look -- as much as I want him to lose it it was more out of respect than hate. I know hybrid -- I Knoll how tough they're gonna be next year I mean that is a great football team with a lot of talent -- great quarterback who which has -- He might be the most he. He's as close as the NFL has today and he's obviously about twice the size. To a target grand Harkin and run around break broken play I'll scramble your -- on the back over the errant. And next thing you know the ball as thirteen yards down the field on third and twelve. And they're moving the chains again at other.

Legal -- is he's the most dangerous you can just -- surrounding -- can make -- you can force him to make decisions in the pocket without moving. Then you've got the advantage even if yes type of protection what when he gets real dangerous and scary for US defense is when this -- start run and around.

him that he can't. I it's it it's remarkable. How he is on what what appeared to be broken play is. And give his receivers credit they've learned you never give up on the play with him and he got to keep movement and find in the spot that he's going to find you. I love Heath Miller. I would love to see Heath Miller on the Patriots I just think he does so much. From the tight end position now he dropped one it was just terrible progress but but you know the blocking. Catching he just. He's the complete package for me there wide receivers you know Holmes ward was not a 100% 9 that.

But it -- made a couple plays were made a couple of a big catch up close a couple of big place and you picked up play a converted a third down third and short. You know you knew what was happening and he was come into the game for that me and he picked it up but to me it's clear that Roethlisberger has a good relationship. -- everybody yeah and they have a lot of respect form and he knows exactly. What those guys that they -- they have very good chemistry and part of it comes with. Playing with these guys for such a long time in -- Willie Parker's ability for a while Miller's been on the team war's been on the team Holmes Nate Washington. Some of the new parts -- shifting parts of the offensive line but as far as the skill people. It shows that. He's been around with these guys for awhile and the one in the one outsider. Is is that is that newcomer Limas -- keeps dropping balls.

I I wasn't shocked that Arizona couldn't run 'cause I just went into the game thank and they were going to be able to run against Pittsburgh. I was shocked at Pittsburgh ran as portly as they did two teams combined for 91 rushing yards in the game lowest total in Super Bowl history. In it almost seemed in the second apple teams that scroll when I'm doing and try -- we're just going to.

Arizona Arizona did a great job against them I can't watch a better against the run and I thought they'd be now. Yeah. There was a drive -- gave up what was the number.

Forty over forty yards. And personal bouts that gave well Garrett have Theo. So the roughing the passers. Penalty was bogus just bogus a bad. Bad penalty.

I mean. What yard face mask -- you know out about what -- but something and I know they talk about this at the at owners' meetings. Every year. It's a joke. What an offensive player can do to a different right.

And they can't do I not that it -- first.

Face mask off of supplier right and still when he can't grab it now he can put his hands on it. The granite and he can't -- moved went again.

You can't -- but there are times you'll see your running back grab the face mask and push a guy off now you can't steer head can't can't -- column but you'll. Some of the things you you're able to see wide receivers and running backs do. Defensive players and a -- the other way around that call I thought that was borderline I understand you put your hand if somebody's -- they have to call. But the roughing the passer. And he can we doing here. Roughing the passer. The -- let the ball go Roethlisberger left the ball ago. You push on which happens all the time.

It. An Atlantic. Like a split second I -- you expect -- orbital breaks horrible horrible call and -- on its Q. I mean human being can't stop the way they expected that I'd be able to stop and eat it piled drive -- you know human element. That it presently all but the other two were is stupid I mean the penalty yardage from the Cardinals were. Was pretty bad in pretty and discipline. You know for a team that hadn't had that problem throughout the course of the playoffs they averaged 42 yards in penalties in the playoffs -- on the hundred practically. The kind of shot themselves in the little bit with some almost -- there -- some.

There was and there are some breakdowns too I mean on the on the winning drive. My Francisco just falling down a man that's going to happen but what what was going on with the coverage there where Santonio Holmes. Is wide open. And I'm surprised you didn't score on that one yeah he really -- scored. It was there was one guy there and he slipped and not allow Holmes to pick up another fifteen or twenty yards.
