And -- Scott pioli in the if he does great things in Kansas City you know.

In the PCs got some things in their of the baffle me. But it's interesting when you star in and we don't do this enough I think and and Michael Bennett. On WBI dot com think about the trade for instance have Drew Bledsoe to Buffalo. -- trade Bledsoe to Buffalo for a first round pick how many people remember that at first round pick became Taiwan. So you would affect traded Drew Bledsoe for Ty Warren G was that a good mover or what -- was great -- Now they've missed on some things and you know -- him Michael Felger suggests Chad Jackson was the worst draft pick of the pioli. -- marriage.

I agree and I thought I appropriate Chad Jackson not yet I make Chad Jackson number one even over Bethel Johnson because Bethel Johnson made some plays. In big games. And I don't remember Chad Jackson making any plays in the game ever about Doug Johnson made about six or seven plays to stand up to me it -- Johnson's on the list but yet Jack but Jack -- number one -- can of them of the worst. Talk about high draft picks you know first round picks second round pick he would be --

He talks about the in in their drafting history said now the first category and I kind of agreement the two picks that were so good they almost don't count. And any combines Tom Brady and Matt Cassel party do that well and he's just -- he's just separating them saying. You know it's not fair to say they were locked 'cause they weren't. You know these guys had had. Skills and abilities that that -- you know. Looks at very highly work ethic intelligence. You know football matters to want but you know when you get Brady in the sixth round in castle in the seventh. He wanted to separate them because they it was so good those two picks were so good he gave their own separate category that's fine. He talked about the best. Draft picks outside of those two. Of of the Belichick pioli regime he's got Richard Seymour number one I agree. Vince Wilfork number two. It depends on who's 34 pharmacy Dan -- is number three. Asante Samuel is number four. Deion Branch is number five.

Other public and Asante Samuel higher. -- get this guy in the fourth round. And 120 overall okay so he turns he he he he get a fourth round pick. And he turns into. Literally a franchise player a guy that you put the franchise tag on so. Yeah I think I put him after Richard Seymour.

He's got the he's got some honorable mentions on -- he's got Jerod Mayo. And it may be a little early I've I've probably agree with -- at the moment might be in the honorable mention category but his his career goes on he may move up that list. Based on what we've seen -- move up quickly sets Stephen Pascal ski on the honorable mention last.

He's got to he's got to get up honorable mention listened -- and be ranked in the -- discounts you've been around long enough to and is an all pro circuit to prove that he's he's got kicker he's got.

Matt Light on there any honorable mention yeah and he's not well he's got five guys that he listed. And any listed these other guys he only listed the top five -- satisfied appear so he's got mailed -- cow -- light and givens as the the honorable mention category. The worst draft fixes as we said Chad Jackson number one Bethel Johnson number two Brock Williams number three.

No Brock Williams goes up to two -- and it got them. Yeah because I think our guys to let that -- and I I'm not going to defend him as -- cryptic you know you get this guy in the second round he could fly. So you draft somebody in the sector on the edge of the plate for a little bit yeah you know 45 years they should be -- an almost immediately yes so. He wasn't able to do that. But. Brock Williams -- does -- that -- literally enough oscars it then you're never not everybody can handle injury and he's all right Gary today you don't even remember right. So he goes up to number two Brett doubled down -- know who's three now well. What is the obviously has Brock Williams history. He's at Jackson won -- fell to Brock Williams through the 4838. --

And number five Laurence Maroney. I think it's too early on Maroney I know. I know people are down on him. He's got to banged up years here but it's too early to say that he's a bust because once again. These guys Laurence Maroney. Contributed. Some big games and Vick situation. So he's it's not like he can't play or he's just flat out bust. But Chad -- it is was a bust. Bethel Johnson. I was on the borderline. Of a bust Brock Williams biased Brock Williams bust I'd just go out how I want put Laurence Maroney America -- in that category is.

Honorable mentions on that again the only lists the five and and it got some honorable mentions Benjamin Watson. -- marquis hill. -- He you know your progress you know when it actually what he says he says marquis -- a good man may rest 2000 sadness I wouldn't. Nervous wreck me to speak never plate yeah so I understand his point it probably takes some courage to put him on the list and give Felger -- when I'm.

You know what I would do just as he having a better way of doing these right I mean and they just that you draft the mindset around -- got to play. And god rest his -- he could not play at this level for -- team.

But just as he made a special category. War. Tom Brady Cassel -- bragging and make a special category this guy guy and today you know it and he tragic accident all the things. You know this that the put him in the packet type seems pretty crass and the other two were Augusta US Scott. To rest gusts and Rohan Davey. How about. Dexter don't call me Vernon Reid -- he didn't he he didn't make a Felger list.

Yeah I mean they've they've they've had some. They've had some some brutal picks that they've had some great ones -- and I think I was talking to or radio station in Kansas City this morning. And I was down get ready. -- and I guarantee you in the next two or three years the Chiefs are going to be in the top five when it comes to draft day trades. So we just went over the next year up I think they're free agent and I get the list of trade out as a free agent signings and trades that having some of the trades they've made. Have been brilliant just. To get themselves in the position to get second round picks and first round pick that they really -- hat.

Let me ask you knowing you know Scott pioli better than I do to him -- the commissioner hadn't taken -- first round you know. He always going to take over while he probably Marty -- but he will be introduced at. His first order of business will be to fire Herm Edwards and his coaching staff second order of business will likely be to hire a head coach and a coaching staff. And then after that I'm wondering where he stands on the acquisition of a guy like Matt Cassel to be his quarterback. You've got an interesting dynamic here where you've got. You know pioli in Kansas City Belichick here Cassel is as the commodity who will be franchised and traded. Who is better than anything Kansas City has to offer. I mean by far better than anything. Kansas City has at that position right now I don't know by far they've got they've got salary cap room. A lot of room any I I don't know what their draft picks situation is -- Adam and I don't mean that when I mean overall I don't know what they have for number of picks. 'cause again I think Bill Belichick wants the third overall I was going to other the only does either that's on.

I don't know if it's a good fit and and do you really want to. Do you really want to give up that much for for Matt Cassel having Matt Cassell worked. In New England for a for a number of reasons you know well coached in the system for four years got some playmakers Randy Moss Wes Welker. Gotta get offensive line. Pretty good defense. In especially us as we got later in the year part of a championship organization. You put you drop Matt Cassel. In Kansas City what do you half. Jennifer guard Bruce Goldberger.

The running back situation. Is a -- He had Jamaal Charles there the rookie a fast rookie but he's not a guy who cared about 2530 times yet. You got Larry Johnson and his issues it's kind of tough goalie can't can't give -- an at bat is about to go to Kansas City. And say I'm going to bring the New England Patriots style of of doing business here and yet you're hitching your wagon to to Larry Johnson. So that's contradictory statement you might be gone before Hobbs got that he's got a lot of work to do there and I don't know if giving up. Even if it's the second round pick which is basically first round pick with Kansas City in the third pick in the second round. And and say a future one. For Matt -- May be too much for him.

Well let's assume that that pioli will go to Kansas City. Trying to replicate much of what he was able to do here -- gap. As as Felger writes in his piece today Johnny EI dot com here's the mission statement that pioli put on page one of the scouting manual when he re wrote quote. We want to build a big strong top smart. Fast disciplined football team that will consistently compete for a championship. Matured he's got any hustings right now I'm not sure they're big strong tough smart fast toward disciplined. In pieces.

But overall now. And and they and they know this in Kansas City they've gone far away from having you know you think I'm having an identity crisis with Bruce Goldberger. They have an identity crisis Kansas City in the line. On for quite along time -- when Dick vermeil was there had a great offense. But they had a terrible defense do you remember that playoff game. With the Colts are gone back and forth. In and I think -- maybe 34 punts in the entire game. If they can score with -- couldn't stop anybody. Under Herm they've been through to a three different. Faces the one face was a took over an old team I got -- go 97 and make the playoffs I thought they were too old I want it to pared down. And then we couldn't win any games 13 or four games over the last two years. And so it's been a lot of times if they had that Marty Schottenheimer. Good special teams good defense.
