I don't know about you but. The minute the first snow fall. It's Boston the minute you start that have one of those two and a half hour commutes like I had today that just -- baseball to me it's greens Fenway Park to me and you know even though you might have had an urge to go to -- something about the personal fall means we gotta go to Fenway Park.

I agree with you. I agree absolutely I mean means no to me means baseball Fenway Park and here we are. Construction everywhere well that's there is every I was out there that that's what it means as snowfall in Boston in December means construction at Fenway Park in again who knows that going on here but. There's a lot of people on the right field line of people green right field line and working on the ruled out there. And and don't panic but everything is out of place. I'll tell you what I think the irony is and and what has been lost in the spending spree of the Yankees. In the two pitchers in the quarter of billion dollars in contracts. Their payrolls going down this year. It go on down there's -- their payroll be lower this year than it was last. They they haven't even come close to spending. The money that is going off the books in fact they could sign Teixeira and and and pick your guy Derek -- picket sign both of them. And their total payroll could be less than it was last year.

So which -- the Yankees payroll is going down while I'm ahead what they already saw star above everybody acts you know. Now you're going from from bill Gates's master bedroom to the lobby and I mean and line is still somebody notebook but my point is. Everybody has looked at the signings of CC sabathia. And and AJ Burnett and at home got to spending. Their payroll will be lower this year than it was last year when all is said and done they're actually going to spend less money now again they were so far ahead of everyone else. It's they're still well -- and payroll goes down you're taking off Mike Mussina is numbers. But you got a lot you've got you've got Bobby Abreu you've got Jason Giambi you've got. OK so so we take off Abreu mussina Andy Pettitte.

But but it's come back on maybe. I'm not sure that is gone back to the Yankees are you put that about I'm I'm not -- I'm not an excuse that it yet he's still. From last year they have taken off almost eighty they're not going to add anywhere close. -- Eighty million dollars. That's how much. People comes. That's last -- okay fine and that number goes down. So it goes now fifteen million dollars is still. Significantly ahead of anyone else in baseball so. If they spent last this year. In two years they'll spend more than anybody in the history of baseball knowledge of distilled in -- it's mind boggling. But but. But our our point the original point was. What's going to happen -- Mark Teixeira and what is going to happen while it's it's very difficult position between the Angels in the Red Sox. -- in this case I don't know if you heard Jerry during the cross overnight -- but hurt him to a buzzer beater and talk about Scott Boras. He's a season ticket holder with the Angels -- sitting right there Patterson so. I know we talked yesterday about his responsibility. And it is is. It is charged with finding the best place. You know Theo has has built a very Bellic shaky and type of baseball operations. There's one voice it's he has there's one negotiator -- him. There's 1:1 central. But except the guy whose names at the top -- the letterhead. The guy who who is the prince.

Loner who can say -- they -- today and what was he thinking he was that they in the past that's what he would -- it was not thinking why would you say. We won't go ten years even if it's true don't say it don't give -- guys because now I don't I don't think the Angels will go to in years.
