Well -- I think the last game was I don't know what what what what was going on with that I didn't think it would be worse than the other game of the officials. Just. A rough night -- one of those who have their. At some sort of other problems that would be all of that I don't know what the issue is were. I think I'm I'm a little concerned about perk in particular. But he knows what he's you know he's trying to do what -- and it got -- about people that hear about it they're he's good to keep his emotions under control what. Yes but like he's he's yelling at -- he's going crazy just -- And they just got to keep the emotions in -- little better.

But he can't get away with what Kevin Garnett can get where I sell them. Pulling a teal weight from Garnett after the whistle -- money. Can't get away with that he just doesn't have that reputation. They ought to get charged in the real real real cheesy phone was going to our lives and was yeah really pathetic call. You know before right.

Stuff for me then then it'll hurt but it's tough calls called on in here in this -- in but he's got a I do a better job and I and he knows it and he -- economic and hopefully it'll it will get better.

The bench is playing better actually. You know from the statistical standpoint the bench. You know with a plus minus the bench is on record the -- since when did -- bench and got its production with a bench is that a little bit better than last year. What hasn't been quite as it is system our starters are starters and the ball over more. Than they did last year that's one thing that's been cleaned up the last eating -- keep it better.

A lot lot of that that was early in the games when you say that first quarter for some reason.

Well yeah I think so but I I think it throughout the course of the game two -- did he just turned to go put too much I think its focus. Guys have really played well balanced such games Paula -- stepped his game up in and so -- quarters. -- probably better most consistent player through the course of this season so far but. You know the guys are playing well on the word there is seventeen to it. And physical and good.

If you look at this team compared to a month ago from your perspective. Do you feel like that team is evolving into their identity more kind of got on citizen championship hangover because there wasn't a seventeen to. But do you feel like a compared to a month ago that you made leaps and bounds.

You know I think that when the season started our big guys that have played last year -- well played better. I think PG. What -- probably could've played better than he did last year went so so unbelievable last year. And that would be hard to match. I just think that there was a little bit up and over -- that our guys were winning and they want to compete but. I don't they're playing more like the indictment of the team on the eighties where sometimes you just you know it's it's hard to get up for every single game reps in the night. -- single moment. And last year was that it was an amazing. Performance by our team in that. And I couldn't I couldn't believe how consistent there energy and intensity was it was it was off the charts.

and I don't you remember we talked about that all last year it and you agreed. We both did it they went to the season last year as if they didn't really believed they were that good and had something to prove. And I couldn't agree with you more I think this year -- team. Reminds me of some of those teams you played on. -- dilly -- for awhile you'd fall behind in the game and it's suddenly. Once she got Syria should put the pedal to the metal in for six or seven minutes shut down that other team you don't want to sixteen to run and okay gentlemen we got our W for the night.

Side and I think that has been the case so far and you know what's gonna it's gonna catch up and continue to lose games should loosen you know I sent that would get me. -- we both of these. Big time offensive drought. You know there's been a lot of that the -- and taught second quarters and some people want to blame that on the bench and what what I've seen just as much of -- Our bench -- with the game and you know things are going okay and then our starters come back into the game. And it's kind of the second -- for the second quarters we don't know we're not playing as well we need to play and then it will behind at halftime will come out and and have a ferocious third quarter where had a halftime and took a mountain and I am. Play like we believe -- going to be any the United -- but yeah you're right I think that that's that's what he also is pacing ourselves we'll let.

One player that we talk about every week it seems Davies is Rajon -- what taken his game to the next level man when he is playing like he has been the last few games just no way in hell you guys are going to -- on it -- it's an unstoppable offense when he's that focus. It's unbelievable.

Well you know resolve this is cut a special talent and so he wouldn't aggressive offensively when he's he's making shots and they put pressure on the before that despite getting into the paint -- but more spoke of these. Really pressuring the ball that late. And prevent him using his speed in presenting the other team. From getting in the paint tonight because as cool as playing against you know he -- it comes to speed in June or so. He does a lot of the same things and you know based on past Duke -- continue to be assertive and bulk of the work. And now about what he's going to be when our team is going to be really special he is consistently put forth that effort defensively.

just -- mention -- because it has been very inconsistent at times what he's doing that -- the defensive pressure forcing turnovers. And offensively portion of the ball up quickly with that initial you know us. It's amazing how many easy baskets you guys again and when he does that. You could see a whole different player there I mean I much more confident player I think that what we saw last year.

Let it it all starts with. And it probably wouldn't be what getting rebounds is great passing big guys' part in in in KG good great job it hit the ball Rondo in the open court. And -- played -- special would -- with his decent that the cards he says that much better and that gets in the open court but wouldn't special. And that the play half court basketball any other teams back -- waiting for us to have to walk off the court then. You know word we could still win that way but I think the worst special when he really is quite deep -- in the open court.

How difficult is it to identify young players that you want to lock up and I guess Rondo can fall into that category down the road here I think you do little bit of Americans. But is that one of the most difficult things to identify and also one of the more important things that you have to do to key kind of keep your your budget on the control.

I think it's easy identifier I think it's. I think with the Red Sox -- I think that those situations are easy because. When you have players like Pedroia or at -- BA's -- scenario with dish on the players. Have a tendency to want to get. -- securities. Sooner rather than later and so the team really got the upper hand in these kind of negotiations. Because. You know -- the players are able to just go out on the open market for a while. And so that gives you it's it's good that thought to the right thing I think in the past and obviously as somebody said two great years in a row the team has great successes that you can lead in the he can't lock up a guy like that I don't know -- you can hook up enough that sounds like it got to greet you all. The ball both both parties -- could be on the situation.

Does it depend on personality in other words you say it's easy but have you had cases where you said okay this seems like this is something he'll take. Not take the bait on but buy into and then they say no wait I'm a what I prefer waited out and get my money down the road.

Well I think that that that the player -- Couldn't couldn't make it a little more difficult if he wants to wait and get yelled after the truck obviously make more money he keeps playing like. Playing now despite the -- arbitration of the year and and you know becomes a free agent you know he could he could give a lot of money on the table but the -- I skip a lot of security now but he can't have. For a while -- to go year by year or so it takes a lot of off -- might be fiscal plight Red Sox standpoint it seemed like it's flat. A great deal -- to 25 years old two years in a -- a great work ethic is great attitude kind of character you wanted to even. And we did this seems like I don't know I don't look who you would give money to the you don't give it to -- back.

They gave -- agents of the players of try to play him affected to a former players in general -- well. A lot of.

I I have I have I have but the people players I understand. The players and I've been coached in general management it's. -- And I think that you have. Russia put in the same category -- Dwyane Wade yet but he's kind of that same type of player very difficult matchup. Can do it creates a lot of opportunities for his team offensively. Than they have shooters come off the bench tutors the -- line -- big guys that she's been. It. They're good they're very good I think they're one of the top ten team in the league picture.

They're they're really interest in me you know and again Oden hasn't. You know played great yet he's been you know in and -- up and down. That's probably going to take awhile specially coming off of that danger but I agree with you look at them and us in a couple times now late night on the they've played well we don't it was of their -- well out of now.
