Let's come back down here to Gillette Stadium out of Patriots Friday that's -- c'mon -- Jackson's second out the -- mobile so -- at old school. Old school. We have big games down theory while commitment of play any time pushed that red button right there they go. -- Jackson -- what was going to say how Rio. We're doing okay. We're always curious about. The nervousness guys must feel this time a year I mean if you're not if you're not Tom Brady year Randy Moss I mean I'm sure you'd think fitness sand. You know they'll have a job Illini have a job -- things don't for you emotionally right now.

Who knows -- and just make plays and see what what happened on the on the play where you held out last night. Stomping my feet just got to -- of the little bit. And I you know the I was trying to get out of bonds -- a little bit about -- those -- he's got you know of this so. And I made a fluently I was going to say -- had to be happy had a chance to make up -- year you know EC we're out of time in the game knows the players. I'd have little doubt beginners games and they don't know it may go for you know. Gotta say that that play you that corner rot in the end zone is something you're familiar with the team likes a few -- and touched on the week before they threw too. Well last night one of which went for another score got feel it out does that play into your skill set. Yeah problem playmaker and we'll open. And so -- peso. So obviously tell him that -- to eliminate. He's a lot glad and -- do do vertical through it seems that this man and but you know mama playmaker and like England and make plays and receivers not -- thank you to Bollenbach. Howell how different is is the pre season we just talk and Logan Mankins about this. And he admitted it's kind of hard to get cranked up about a pre season game it sort of feels like a scrimmage game at times but when you're trying to make a football team and try to show which you can do. You've got to it'll cranked up whether the emotion is there -- You know you you start. Began training camp in you know you've been in the same gas to a few weeks and -- the -- every day in. You know you can't always different pre season game but he knows I'm not a fan. Of golf course and new England's them not a fan and so. Since the fans and knows the competition is that but he knows as goes pre -- me have a good and -- compete. But I played -- some guys take into consideration is is pre season they don't want to year. This is -- now out race season how to feel about where you -- at this point your career then. Feel like come on pretty good some kind of starting over -- Asthma Ricky is so. -- Was targeting do their thing go did you think I mean you're. Lot of thought to be a first round pick you were drafted high in the second round -- it straight up in the second round to get you in everything that you be going to your third camp wondering if you make the team. And -- of the and -- times -- first round second round has known to fans. That make Bateman and that a nightly. The beat a time the guy want to continue plan in god and played a good team. You know when is CEO wherever so loses does have the bad. Has there been a certain level of frustration because of physical issues. Not being able to do the things you need to do week you know week very of reverse trading -- I've never been -- since I got an in this cuts I'm never got tired apartment and I hamstring -- sound like commitment I've never been hurt as much science and that. This and learn -- It's a Dempster has it is it taught you. The importance of offseason work in. What you do in the offseason get you ready for the start of the season the of a bare light goes no foam economists work out offseason so -- if offseason. And who knows what did you learn at Macy's -- a thing you know take a week off but. It was who knows -- as you know. Avenue taco yet he's back where.
Mentally do you feel that if you're comfortable with your role in this offense with your role -- brawl with your. If -- knowledge of this offense so hard and get your hands around. It was the first year there right now after a very comfortable with office. You did you even notice which he rounded different positions you know in his office he Kansas and -- learn. -- plate does one play Coke and Arnold when if a guy that was definitely. So once you hit it where it played caught in. Ultra this is something people mentioned I find it fascinating that. Really at the end of the day there is no set route called for any play yea c'mon the huddle with the play that you're supposed to run a certain way but. When you get to the line if you -- coverage and a different area you've got to adjust your route. And be on the same page mentally with Tom Brady and see exactly what he sees so it no matter what it's coming out of the huddle. If you're getting an inside leverage by a quarter you gotta adjust such an outside route just for an example. And has happened challenging for you.
I'm not really notice that's what happened last night -- welcome. Him decide to covers needs is right. They've contest damaged nose is always like -- nose -- Versus -- so you know. If you gotta -- You know. It's. They treat talking -- that thing now so we can -- you know that's okay we believe me we've had guys in the what's -- we have in -- Richard Richard Seymour you want to. Like -- a -- the microphone making an area well. Is speed do you think still you're biggest asset is that the the big thing you think you bring to the table here. They sought in -- fans mustered just that the number of fans guy of that. But mossy scenes that they found that at least he sees -- things down distinctive that -- guys. As Dan received. They when the season though we're -- and a who c.'s offense. Now I and the Red Sox I know they actually pulled two guys on the team. Jacoby Ellsbury Clay Buchholz that that you're not allowed to race because they don't want guys out there blown some not get some -- Now would you be told no chance you can't you can't race you can't do that that fair. Things they they would but I mean no firm. The wrist doesn't business Gandhi's might as distant bases that. You know I'm home happy to be out there. What -- we appreciate stake in a few minutes to join us thank you it's great presently -- thank event and will change from offense to -- wanted to sit here and a thing Jarvis I see Jarvis Green joining us. On -- Patriots Friday as well.
It at that a chance showing Jarvis the -- mobile as Baghdad. All of a sudden these guys who have been in our studio that much realize that. Tech mobile is down here we you big tech mobile guy yeah. They like definitely. I think I read a quote from you today in the paper where you were saying. Yours is working anyway and you take them off to want. I I think I read a quote for today where you were saying your guy who needs snaps in the pre season you need. The opportunity to get out their place some in the pre season is is that that I read that accurately.
Yes they're actors. And Collison -- Rose and when I don't know. Connected to bury him. Oh and need is -- to the Rose and also for me come back to me pre season. Moss -- injury. Older men do. How do you feel this stage of pre season. More work to do do better. Right now and for the good race for Casey. So it feels great but it was very I was team feel about some of the performances -- the I would I would hope we -- says Woodward there's one way or four. Must've looked forward to from the trees season but it proceedings preparation Wednesday's. Is not going to be perfect immigrate from going to court and you better do you feel. In this week Casey criminal ago it is or work in front of us so he's going to be important days for us today in tune. When fumble.
I guess the hope is that all of a sudden you can play different football's become a week from Sunday it better be that way it's. I'm sure nobody's happy with how the defense is perform pre season so far.
Novo individually on my at all and I'm no other teams likely to be getting ready for us and you know it's. A lot of the teams had no -- pre season but no -- there and get better right now or mean about it waiting for us you know KC -- coming in this Sunday. And we better be -- You feel you all can flip the switch just given your experience only time you've done -- before is everyone confident that. That was just a pre season thing as it is going to be totally different September yeah -- real tough on me flaws which the switch flip the switch. I mean that's why we practice this equipment on the you'd better and these days and to do in the way it was you disappoint pre season to me news embarrassment two months ago. And played. Him back two games. Amazing team -- one and and do something. You play at a position that most people considered be one of real strength on this team. -- On the defensive line is something that most teams in the NFL don't get a look at. I'm necessity for most -- Under today. There rule. It was mostly. -- Birth there right --
You gotta get out of here I'm told you have meetings to go to. Another Bellamy we okay for a second. Don't know till 2 o'clock mentality. CF to block -- chances -- they -- Jarvis we gotta get him out there.
