I'm Patrice units and turning the corner what. What it what what inspired to go to the ice yesterday in and did you Gil did you go there because you had clearance from your doctors and trainers to tell us about that.

Because there is obviously. I put a way to get back on the edge that we do want to Russian they've won. Make sure -- take that time and so that we weren't going backwards -- it was as sort of work you know we can have to go and everything went well at the time it was so. Getting good in didn't get any symptoms and when I was getting sent -- there wasn't. Related to to be worked out so we just kept on going and I get cleared yesterday to -- in the national for ten minutes actually and I felt pretty good.

So what's the next step for you know Patrice.

The trees obviously you've never had to deal with anything quite like this at any point your career has it surprised how long it's taken you to get back from what happened back in October.

In Canada for people who haven't been up there to see it in youth hockey they have little stop signs on the backs of kids jerseys. And then basically telling them exactly which -- saying if you see that's stop sign don't hit there.

Exactly and I think that's that's what I'm trying to send a message to it's something that. Offer us says professional athletes and lean and mean among players in the in the National Hockey League I think we -- he. -- take responsibility when you you go for it and think about the consequences before you go for that it than. And also think about that the kids that are playing the game.

Patrice at any point did you hear the words that no athlete professional or amateur ever wants to hear those words are. Your career might be over to anyone ever say that you.

No never never. The once said that it never crossed my mind either so. I was always part of it in that process received unless they can longer and I thought it would in it was stuff but no no -- said that in and brother you know obviously. Just being -- being Beckham has been known as Creighton do I just realized greatest sport it is you know it's my passion you know it is reliable almost and I missed it you know and in four months.

Patrice I think that the answer might be we we might have our own assumptions about what's going to happen with you this year but you can't make assumptions so I'm going to ask you. Have you decided that this season is is is a no go for you when he's going to come back in 20082009 or do you still hold out hope. That you could even play at you know 1015 games this year.

Yeah I'm still holding and I don't want to. Put an X on this so this season obviously I don't want to that being said -- want to rush anything and -- take any chances but -- you know wanna. -- across from this season it's overrated analyst. Was it hard for you know watch your team play without two for awhile there.

I don't know anymore I think at first I was visit than I was what's in those kind of there's been no similar my teammates went into the corners the way I was and I got it and they don't want that to happen to anyone so. I didn't do anything emphasis on just you know. Getting used to the English lit more than talking more with that teammates and I mean it's it's. The matter -- kind of learning it and I think it's just. There's pros and that I was going through in the now going better with -- language and others. As nervousness was two years ago -- every year it's improving -- it its greatest and that's it and I can you know people that they're now in the -- the ability to improve I mean. And just so people understand everybody doesn't know your story. When did you first speak English how long ago.

I'm a little five years ago it when I -- what I say here not in Boston so.
