Won't tell us a little bit about what it's like at that we hear the stories but. Just how intense is it for you personally to go through their routine and and how much control do they have over you I mean do you. Is it is there any fun and dollars and all work.

You know -- you you have to have armed wire or through this process -- they enjoy it occasionally get to bill or but at the same time there's a lot of hard work that goes into it the trade ascent and the people at the facility out here are our. A lot of fun to work with they keep things fresh unabated it basis because you are there from about 8:30 in the morning to six and night and it it can be tedious at times but they do a great job of breaking up the monotony and and keep -- fresh.

We went 11 of the players are around their life is it -- bunch.

There's about thirty guys here training actually com mine at this point I work out in the mornings with. The DBs in the receivers out here so -- work out what Lima sweet one of the wide receivers from Texas. You know training period can compete in the game restraining if you get picked up -- a -- of these kind of helped me and so specifically to -- a little different. A lot more focused on -- and and that kind of stuff but all at all you know I've been fortunate to have worked with some great strength coaches all the way through.

How much time is left at the end of the day to read mock drafts and to read previews of the next NFL season and how much. Of your focus is on where you -- who's going to coach you are we going to play with how much money going to make next year.

Well it you know I try not to concern myself with that too much. But I think our average cup not the -- because the NFL it's it's such a large part of the maker of sports in this country and people seem to follow it. Throughout the entire year -- organized every target click on sports center or something like that. You know you see draft prospects and electronic stuff try to understand format. In a sense split for the mile Florida turns stay away from all the stops and they're just trying to remain focused on what's important Meehan and hopefully all that other stuff picture itself.

I know the question about to ask is a futile one because you you you certainly can't you know risk this and anybody off but you have to know that toward the top of that draft the dolphins the falcons the chiefs and the ravens. Would all be looking at a quarterback to work to help their teams had -- given any thought to those four teams which one. As a better fit for you would be that your brother play and any of that kind of -- Matt.

You know -- at this point you know I'm really open to go wherever and you know I'm just hoping that somebody will give me the chance to -- compete for. For the starting position and and you know whoever it ends up being I'll be happy to go there and play as far as I can that --

Would it be special to you what it means something extra to be the number one player chosen in the draft by the dolphins.

It's because it would be pretty cool there's no question about I advocated. You know he he kind of always dreamed of being first selection being caught up on the stage and and everything that goes along with so would be certainly very exciting but at the same time that you weren't that happened in and you know somebody later in the draft is is going to give me a chance that it just accept.

What would you prefer to be on a better team I mean that the topic is generally a bad team. And we've seen guys like David -- guys who go number one -- get beaten up if you slip a little -- invariably going to end up. With the in a better situation are you not.

And you know -- it's the truth the teams with the worst record straight year for our that the top amateur. I excluded the patriots could but I mean it it is something that. At this point I can't really worry about -- betrayed him and in turn do my best and and whatever he meant that picking me go there and players are terrific and and now work with the teammates and the guys there at the turn and either restore that program more or. Or continue the success that that organization that's.

We're talking with former Boston College quarterback Matt -- I'm wondering how much to coach jags in just one season you were together help you out in this process going forward with his professional background with the Brett -- pies and all those kinds of things.

Well he helped me out so much coast that it it's such a great job that BC this year coming in we had a very veteran team and and we didn't miss a beat within. And his staff this year so yeah you know he did a great job this season and then and it helped me tremendous amount. Through this process getting ready trivia show and understanding what teams are going to be looking forward. And understanding what the situation is like as a quarterback in the NFL also. You know I've been very fortunate. Cute cute to have terrible you know what happened to call him and just shook things up -- him in and you know he's he's he's been very good --

Or what's his main theme -- about what he tells you the difference between playing in college and playing in the pros -- preaching to you.

Well just. We gained speed. If there's so much quicker the windows they hit as a quarterback are so much smaller. And there's a lot of responsibility of -- all on the court martial -- as you have to prepare yourself. I'd stay in and day out. To succeed in and you have to really work hard and put in the time and if you do that. You know you you can be capable of being successful and you know also something I've really taken part -- really worked hard. And try to prepare myself as best I can to make the transition and hopefully it works out.

You know I heard someone analyzer explained Tom Brady's success in the NFL. Despite going in the sixth round this way that the things that put a premium on in the NFL are. Decision making quick decision making and accuracy in those are the most important components and and the quarterback at the highest level. Whereas this Mora you know impromptu stuff going on in college do you see it that way and do you feel like those are your strengths that you are accurate and you are a quick decision maker.

Well you know I agree with -- I think that those are the qualities of -- of a really good NFL quarterback start that make good sound decisions repeatedly. I mean they continue to make good decisions for the course of the game and you certainly have to be accurate with the football. And I think that you know I think -- street things that I do well. I think for the most part I'm pretty accurate with the football and can put -- in places where it needs to be a tremendous some tight windows and you know I think it's a constant process to improve your decision making and and I think it's been pretty good but it but it it's never perfect and it's something my arm trying to work on trying to improve on it and you know to gradual process but I think I'm getting better bit by bit.

You know we see some of the marker of seven go to Atlanta which I found interesting because. -- tells us that you -- him in the used to go to dog fights all the time and who you're really.

You know that aren't a leader with fifty. That's -- that we had some clubs didn't go to copyrights -- did you -- fifth Barrett nick but three years ago and I got beat here aren't going to be careful what I back. Yeah they're they're a little bit of both you know it's it's it's pretty unbelievable could be compared to having been in Boston. The past five years and and throughout watched him go from you know the Super Bowl winning quarterback -- the premiere quarterback -- you know well during that span. And he just to see how he handled himself in the media Howard and knows how he handles himself on the practice field and it in the during games. I've tried to pick up as much -- I can program and I'm not saying that I've modeled myself -- my game after him but. I think you'd be foolish not to watch and see happy about it because he's the best at what he does.

And I waited around -- seventeen and and right now when it and around two point six struck put aren't close to ten pounds and then down. Feel very strong on the body -- has gone down which is a good thing oh prefer public should be should be well.

He's exactly and the speed improvement it continued to improve it's something I'm working very hard on I think it's. It's something that throughout my entire college career it was something actual despondent tried to improve on your right here and I think that is that yeah -- It's something that I'm getting better -- in the you know I feel like I've done a great job should have been out here in Arizona.

How unseemly was that process for you mean just -- do these guys Colin you know all ours we've heard stories of agent's script they basically harassing players throughout their senior years that happening.

You know up my mind that helped me out a lot throughout the process and -- eight. Throughout the whole thing I have so I don't want to be distracted through the seasons and nobody was to give me a phone call if you're gonna go and try to get -- a city you're going to get in touch with my bat and a lot on his shoulders are unfairly but he did a great job with -- and down handled that well when it was appropriate for me to sit down to meet with some of the guys that it's. -- that wasn't overwhelming interest me but I enjoyed it.

Matt battle you've had this conversation with -- meter yet but he needs of the opinion that a first round draft pick. Needs a ballet or an assistant with we tend they got the -- is a bull bull or Lackey and and and believe me -- toward that yet. Is intention is to hitch his wagon to -- star. And -- all the stuff we've kind of your your calls a year original he'll get the rental cars for he'll make the reservation and he'll get to the flight all those kinds of things have had a discussion with little meter -- editor you're both ball and waiting as we elect a column.

You know what we've had this discussion throughout the entire -- I would never have my time -- these few is that he's going to pitch Rancho.
