He would hurry HBO and just that it echo at times particular discussion really sort of an inspirational thing to beat -- to it was a lot of fun.

How long did it take you to walk eighteen --

Well unfortunately we had a bunch it has some TV delays during the day because we might in the cameras are involved. You can't just walk. But there was also a delay that there were just spontaneous celebration for chipper. In it in that in. An eight to twelve school the only school in this county Tennessee in bruised and Tennessee and they just couldn't get enough on their hang. On his every word he literally just you know he's walked along -- probably wouldn't do it and they assemble every kid in the school in the GM and George went in the air and he had this incredible. At this rapt audience of -- talking about any talent on heroes aren't. How they have to look at firefighters and police officers and teachers are there here is not as athletes and just really. An emotional one day but basically we walked -- out. I don't know maybe 30 in the morning till it got dark and you know. Up for lunch and just this is just a fun day it was a good time.

Let's turn our attention back to -- of the mundane business of NFL football based on what happened this past week. Do you think the patriots will lose a game in the regular season.

While you know it it doesn't look like it spot all along it would. Com and now I don't think they will. I think obviously the only chance is what's going to happen at the meadowlands -- that last Saturday night because none of us really know. How many guys the giants are going to keep out if they don't have any. Into place for the one thing I think about that giant team right now though is that. They're not clicking at all offensively -- they -- at a different running back every week practically zero there'll be hurt. I mean they really really missed Tiki Barber no matter what anybody says. And you know and they this thing that you don't know is. What's Tom Coughlin going to do rule on Portugal -- is ankle is that is -- like it has been all year and that you want to play your best and go out win but. Chances are I mean if I had to get straight now my guess is that the giants will be primetime game on wild card weekend. You know that Saturday night game so. It's not like the giants are going to get any extra -- you know and get an extra day to prepare for it is getting this wild card games so. My guess is that Coughlin will probably be shortly attempted. Arrest is borderline guys like in. Antonio pierce and and Portugal -- tour probably to a it is top six or seven most important players in the game. And not so that play a part in game but you know I'm probably like everybody else right now I think they've -- patriots are going to succeed now.

Peter the news came out this week that the jets had a camera at Gillette stadium last year Eric Mangini and the jets say they had permission the patriots don't say anything what's the real story.

I think the real story is that this is something that had been floating around since early this season. And I don't think the jets had prevention. And I believe that the let the scooter it was straight start their roof and I think Michael. If if we are if we are to believe. What we also our believe about this story that the patriots strength. That the chip should have pain. -- this defeat at the old boys network which is you know the first week of the season which is. Help keep with the camera to get off the sideline and don't come back I mean it didn't eat it that is all what we're to believe then it's clear that. The patriots think that okay we are your I do want to. And we didn't turn event you caught -- I'd do that in -- demand. And that's why I mean. You know I think everybody looks at -- Dodgers giant threats are Yankees so whatever it the great. Kind of rivalries in sports historic state. They -- you don't summit hatred that that goes on but. I mean this this jets patriots thing and it just so many things get get ratcheted up in this thing that. My feeling is that they're going to be some ma supporting some feelings on Sunday.

You know we were just talking a guy with his jumping on me for kind of defending in a way of those steroid era in my defense was this is what the error is in an a lot of players are products of that era. But it and maybe it's a looser association and wondering. If we heard about the jets their camera we obviously know about the patriots and a camera. Is this a -- subculture in the NFL that no one really talks about this camera work.

I think it is Michael but I think it is probably. Less prevalent and particularly now. This -- and now I thought I angel looked routines that commonly used the camera and I know at least one of them used it during the preceding game proper sparks this year. You know this irresponsible ten year old eats drinks that are it's okay like Italy -- in the middle of this season English is that that the dumbest most irresponsible. To -- shameless thing I've ever seen a coach to -- one of those things where he got around that the Bill Belichick. And so he -- at -- I've done -- several times in my career I know it's commonly done her around the lead he believes it is still being done but he. -- quite yet -- any. Any potential who is -- And Sunday and he just said this is one of those things that. It just is -- Very profitable -- right. Ever really get very much help from that and and that's one of the reasons why I think I'm sure if you ask Bill Belichick right now how much -- did he get for a you know all scale of one to ten each I think at least say a lot less than one. I think you know because I just don't think you're going to get all that much help for this as just another example coaches and not just bill. Who think that. I'm going to look under every rock to trade you don't try to find ways to help us win.

Let's set aside Katrina for a second but just as a general rule why this migration of coaches where the interest of coaches. For leaving the NFL and going back to the college game.

I think I think -- three reasons number one white guys come look at it -- Jimmy. Johnson told -- it's this great little story about when butch Davis called them. And there are certain there's so part down trying to win and Aaron and that you're talking about everything and Jimmy simplest and -- realize one. You can state Miami and beat. The beaten me on campus and winning or nine games every year and content. And for national championship have a good social if you don't network down every rifle like get good plays solid stuff or. You can go to the F -- twice as much money and you be back in college football 34 years sure now which statistics. The browns up space for years went to 24 games. Quite literally earns 24 million dollars million hours away and so. In other words what you say -- is what is what a lot of college coaches feel there's the lower of the NFL's first alternate challenge right. The challenge is not as big as you're going to get paid. -- Bobby Petrino it it is. It is -- high in college football -- about a million hours and who knows coaching clinic and all that other crap. How much money you can make me. -- If you good but he bill powers are coming back pro football left an eight -- nine. -- year aren't convinced. You're really -- in -- And really -- and pro football you're going to make it right now at least four F five million dollars which is a lot of these college guys have come to the NFL are. And so he thought they think first -- all. Second thing you know. I really believe that we wanted to recently so readily go back. It is because they keep it there is safety net college football and they're going to BB -- they're not going to be question like that Eric pro football. And you can run and BA you know you can be an autocratic. So and so and everybody just have to conform to what she walked in -- NFL DeAngelo Hall Alge Crumpler they're just going to then you're witches because your head coach of the team that doesn't work that way it. NFL and a final thing. I believe that that makes college football also trek is is just can't believe that. -- hell if he'd go to the NFL tight it is on HBO this week is seven example the guys in the last fifteen years to go on -- college to pro back to college. And every one of them have a losing record in the NFL. It's not much on to -- Penny you guys know that they open college football and we're in the majority of their deep stuff how much of it majority is -- But they know they're going to be three intense.

You know Peter I agree with you Bobby Petrino he bounced and it it was a pretty cowardly move it and that happened this week we all saw that but there had to be something before that a moment when he lost the team. What was that moment it -- have you gotten a sense of what we -- there.

I think it was a continuous moment where. He never felt it that is the you never felt any important.

I'm wondering why the University of Michigan would even be interest in in cam Cameron. And I'm wondering -- the Miami Dolphins and I was gonna say if on the dolphins -- offered a drive in north.

But what consider that today Demeco Ryans -- last season Gary Kubiak was still need. This guy's plate NFL for eight or nine weeks -- the leader our team apple eater Mark deep sense and not so -- Yeah you're right Michael that. It's ironic -- after he gets -- you know for not be able. Able to build a good team -- all that stuff and if you look back at that perhaps. The 21 picks of that draft work two of the best five or six players to come out of that draft as of now.

I was a little worried last week about -- AME we've been friends for along time but I had concerns for your career path. When I saw that Sports Illustrated named Brett -- the sportsman of the year and you can write the story I thought man that's an upset there.

Now that was OK today he you know there's other people work geared to what you all that aren't -- in situation like that. you know what I. About wade Phillips but right. I just think that it's going to be harder.
